In this post, I’m going to show you one of the easiest ways I found to get Sins in The Veil. If you’re trying to unlock a class that requires Sins, this method can help you farm them surprisingly quickly without having to spend all your time fighting random players.

The best part about this strategy is that you only need one other person. Ideally, you can bring a friend, but it doesn’t actually have to be someone you already know because both players benefit from doing the method.

I tested this method while progressing on a relatively fresh account, and I was able to get several Sins very quickly. Here’s exactly how the strategy works, how Prestige makes the farming loop possible, and what you should know before trying it yourself.

Best Way to Get Sins in The Veil – Prestige System

The method is extremely simple.

You need two players who take turns killing each other.

When you kill the other player, you receive a Sin. After that, the other player kills you, and then you continue alternating kills.

Because both players are taking turns, both of you can gain Sins during the farming session.

For example, the basic loop looks something like this:

  1. You kill the other player and gain a Sin.
  2. Your Prestige changes.
  3. The other player kills you and gains their Sin.
  4. Your Prestige changes again.
  5. You kill them again.
  6. Continue repeating the process.

That’s really the core of the entire method.

You Don’t Necessarily Need a Friend

Having a friend makes this much easier because you can coordinate everything together.

However, the other player doesn’t necessarily need to be someone you already know.

Since both players benefit from the strategy, you can potentially find another player who also wants to farm Sins and work together.

The idea is that neither player is simply helping the other for nothing. You both take turns getting kills, so both of you can make progress toward the Sins needed for your classes.

If you can’t find anyone in-game, you could try asking other players through The Veil community or Discord to see if someone else wants to farm Sins.

How the Prestige System Helps the Method Work

The important part of this strategy is understanding why the two players can keep alternating kills.

When you kill your farming partner, your Prestige increases.

For example, after killing them, you might reach Prestige 2. Then, when they kill you, they gain Prestige while your Prestige drops back down.

After that, you can kill them again and continue the cycle.

So the farming process basically works by alternating who has the higher Prestige and who gets the next kill.

The loop goes back and forth:

You kill them → They kill you → You kill them → They kill you.

As long as the system continues allowing the alternating kills to count, both players can keep gaining Sins.

How Many Sins Can You Get?

Based on the results shown in the video, the method can be very fast.

The initial estimate was that you could potentially get around seven or eight Sins during a single cycle, depending on how efficiently you perform the method.

During testing, the two players managed to get around 20 Sins combined in approximately 10 minutes, although the farming session wasn’t completely efficient and had some interruptions.

One player had around nine or ten Sins, while the other had even more.

The estimate was that with better coordination, each player could potentially farm around 15 Sins in 10 minutes, meaning the two players could gain around 30 Sins combined.

Of course, your actual results may vary depending on interruptions, game mechanics, timing, and whether the method continues working the same way.

Timing and the Day/Night Cycle

One thing that can slow down the method is the game’s day and night cycle.

You may have to wait for the appropriate time when the doors are available because they close during certain periods.

So while the actual killing and Sin farming can be extremely quick, you should also consider the waiting time between farming opportunities.

The important point is that the actual farming loop itself doesn’t require much effort. Once you and the other player are together, you’re basically just taking turns fighting and killing each other.

What Happens When a Bounty Appears?

There is another interesting part of this method involving bounties.

After killing the other player, your bounty can appear. When that happens, you may also have an opportunity to gain Offerings.

So while this strategy is mainly focused on farming Sins, you might also be able to make some progress toward Offerings by dealing with bounties.

However, farming Offerings this way may not be as fast or straightforward as farming Sins.

The advantage is that bounties can potentially provide more than a single Sin’s worth of progress, depending on how the bounty system works.

So if you’re interested in both Sins and Offerings, it may be worth paying attention to your bounty while doing the farming loop.

Is This Better Than Farming the Crypt?

The Crypt is another method players use when trying to farm Sins.

However, this two-player strategy feels much easier because you don’t need to constantly farm enemies or deal with the usual risks of progressing through an area.

With this method, you basically just need another player.

You take turns killing each other, gain Sins, and repeat.

That makes it a very simple option, especially if you don’t have much time to play.

Whether it’s actually faster than the Crypt method depends on how efficiently you can farm in the Crypt and how quickly you can coordinate the alternating kills.

But based on the testing shown here, the two-player method can produce Sins very quickly.

How to Farm Sins Efficiently

If you want to get the best results from this method, coordination is important.

Try to make sure both players understand the rotation before starting.

The basic process should be:

  • Player One kills Player Two.
  • Player Two respawns or returns.
  • Player Two kills Player One.
  • Player One kills Player Two again.
  • Continue alternating.

You don’t need to make the fights complicated.

The goal is simply to complete the kills as efficiently as possible while allowing both players to gain their Sins.

The faster you can repeat the cycle without interruptions, the more Sins both players can potentially farm.

Can You Do This With a Random Player?

Yes, potentially.

You don’t have to bring your best friend into the game just to use this method.

Since both players receive benefits, you may be able to find another player who is also trying to unlock a Sin-based class.

You can simply agree to alternate kills so that both of you gain progress.

This is what makes the method particularly convenient. You’re not asking someone to sacrifice their time just to help you. Both players are working toward their own goals.

Be Careful Because the Method Could Change

One thing worth mentioning is that farming mechanics like this can always change.

The method may be adjusted, nerfed, restricted, or changed by the developers in the future.

The strategy feels extremely powerful because you can gain Sins without doing the traditional type of grinding that players might normally expect.

That doesn’t necessarily mean the method will remain available forever.

So before relying completely on it, make sure you’re following the current rules of The Veil and that the developers haven’t changed how repeated player kills, Prestige, or Sin rewards work.

Why This Method Is So Easy

Personally, the biggest advantage of this strategy is how little effort it requires compared to other farming methods.

You don’t need to constantly search for enemies.

You don’t need to run through the Crypt repeatedly.

And you don’t need to spend a huge amount of time fighting difficult NPCs.

You basically need one other player and a working rotation.

Once you understand the Prestige system and start alternating kills, the process becomes very straightforward.

That’s why this method can be especially useful if you’re trying to quickly reach the Sin requirement for a class.

This two-player strategy is one of the easiest Sin farming methods shown for The Veil.

All you need is another player, and then you take turns killing each other so both of you can gain Sins. The Prestige system allows the kills to alternate, creating a farming loop where both players continue making progress.

Testing showed that the method could produce around 20 combined Sins in roughly 10 minutes, even without perfect efficiency. With better coordination, it may be possible to get even more.

The Crypt may still be another strong option for farming Sins, but if you’re looking for a simple method that doesn’t require much complicated grinding, this strategy is definitely worth knowing about. Just remember that game mechanics can change, so always check whether the method is still working as intended before relying on it for your class progression.
