Stepping into Chapter 2 of Demons’ Timeline means diving deeper into a sprawling web of nine unique accounts, each revealing fragments of a paranormal mystery. Unlike the tutorial’s more straightforward four-account puzzle, this chapter demands sharper observation and a knack for connecting the dots across a rich timeline filled with dozens of posts. The challenge lies in piecing together seemingly disparate conversations and clues that unspool across multiple personas.
Demon’s Timeline Chapter 2 Walkthrough
With nine distinct identities to uncover, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Breaking down the process into manageable steps allows you to unravel the case methodically, ensuring no detail slips through the cracks.
Data Recovery
Before delving into the timeline, you need to access crucial chapter data on your in-game computer. Use these two passwords to unlock essential files that provide context for the ongoing mystery.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| The abbreviation of the now-defunct online community of paranormal incident enthusiasts | A.N.C.L.E. |
| The name of the Vcuber who went berserk during a livestream | Megumi |
Account Identification
With the chapter’s data decrypted, it’s time to comb through the timeline posts. Each user’s unique behavior, interests, and interactions are your best tools for piecing together their identities.
Takanori Shindo
Shindo is the first character whose dual identities you unravel. Scrolling through posts by Sub Account <White> reveals a deep, unhealthy hatred toward the Vtuber Karen. When you cross-reference Karen’s replies, you’ll spot corrosive comments from Sub Account <Red>. Putting two and two together, these hateful posts belong to Shindo.
His accounts break down as:
Main Account: World’s Anomalies Bot
Sub Account: Sub Account <Red>
Sub Account: Sub Account <Red>
Kaiji Kazemaki
To identify Kaiji’s main account, look to Sub Account <Green>, which retweeted news about the Phonon train, something Kaiji is passionate about. This points to Cicada1700 as Kaiji’s primary persona, especially since their profile picture features the Phonon train.
His sub account emerges from his train obsession too. Posts from Sub Account <Black> show frustration over the name “Phonon” being associated with an unrelated EPORO character, marking this as Kaiji’s alter ego.
Therefore:
Main Account: Cicada1700
Sub Account: Sub Account <Black>
Sub Account: Sub Account <Black>
Ran Saida
Spotting Saida’s main account is straightforward. Sub Account <White> is surprised Saida has over 60,000 followers, aligning perfectly with Zuidou @ Short Novel Parroter, the only account with that reach on your timeline.
For the sub account, employ Nyasuteria’s ability on Zuidou’s posts to uncover a hidden thought: “Go to hell, Antis.” This hint directs us to Sub Account <Purple>, which openly complains about fan hostility, securing its link to Saida.
The accounts match as:
Main Account: Zuidou @ Short Novel Parroter
Sub Account: Sub Account <Purple>
Sub Account: Sub Account <Purple>
Futa Kusuki
Among the nine, Futa’s accounts are the easiest to identify. The sole full-time Vcuber in your timeline is Karen Kusakage, clearly Futa’s main account.
Her sub account is equally obvious. Replies to Karen include a heated debate with Shindo concerning his switch in allegiance regarding A.N.C.L.E. Checking Sub Account <Aqua> reveals posts bragging about opportunism and confirming an age of 30, matching Futa’s profile.
Thus, her accounts are:
Main Account: Karen Kusakage
Sub Account: Sub Account <Aqua>
Sub Account: Sub Account <Aqua>
Toma Wakasa
Locating Toma’s sub account first simplifies the hunt for his main identity. Sub Account <White> frequently worries about Shindo, citing their shared college lab and seniority—Toma has been at Midorikawa Laboratory longer, making this account his.
Further, this sub account is obsessed with investigating strange cases, even in the face of online backlash. Checking the account of 2.4 Billion Yen Case—the A.N.C.L.E. founder—reveals someone who feels regret over the group’s formation but secretly continues investigations, tying this to Toma’s main account.
Therefore his identities are:
Main Account: 2.4 Billion Yen Case
Sub Account: Sub Account <White>
Main Account: 2.4 Billion Yen Case
Sub Account: Sub Account <White>
Taishi Ogawa
Taishi’s identity is pieced together mainly through eliminating known characters. His main account, Majorna TV, is a budding YouTuber who’s graduating soon. Since Toma is already accounted for, this must be Taishi.
For the sub account, consider Taishi’s role as a student in Aoyama Laboratory. Sub Account <Green> is connected through shared knowledge of Kaiji’s train interests and classmate status in Aoyama Lab, confirming it as Taishi’s sub account.
His accounts are:
Main Account: Majorna TV
Sub Account: Sub Account <Green>
Sub Account: Sub Account <Green>
Mai Arate
Mai Arate’s main account is one of the simplest reveals: a pro gamer named Koyuuchy stands out as the only such player on the timeline.
Her sub account is no mystery either. Sub Account <Blue> claims to be the top EPORO player ahead of someone named Rui, indicating this connection perfectly matches Mai’s.
The split is:
Main Account: Koryuuchy
Sub Account: Sub Account <Blue>
Sub Accout: Sub Account <Blue>
Ryuji Kodama
Ryuji’s accounts offer an intriguing puzzle starting with an account simply labeled Deleted Account, filled with posts stating “This account has been deleted.” Cross-referencing reveals that Sub Account <Blue> laments the loss of “Rui’s account,” who was self-employed and the number two EPORO player in A.N.C.L.E., pointing toward a match with Ryuji.
