Bartz is introduced as a melee fighter who excels at chaining abilities to ramp up his damage. His passive skill, Job Master, grants increasing damage boosts after using consecutive abilities, stacking up to three times to really turn the tide of battle as you press your advantage.
- Unique Ability – Goblin Punch: Hold to charge forward a great distance while repeatedly punching anyone in your path, dealing consistent damage over the charge.
- UR – Dragon Slash-Cross: Leap towards opponents and unleash a wide-area attack that deals high damage and stuns enemies for 5 seconds.
- UR – Rapid Twin Thundaga Spellblade: Strike a foe directly with medium damage. When you have 2 Job Master stacks, damage ramps up to severe, and at 3 stacks you stun the enemy for 5 seconds.
Getting Bartz and his powerful skills requires pulling him from the in-game gacha, but you don’t have to rely on luck alone: Bartz can also be earned naturally through the season pass as a free reward, making sure dedicated players can definitely add him to their roster.
The Final Fantasy V theme continues beyond Bartz with Krile receiving a new cosmetic outfit titled Mog & Me. This skin does not affect combat but adds some charming personalization for fans of the character.
