DRAPLINE hosts an impressive 25 endings, inviting players to explore multiple story outcomes. These endings hinge on diverse factors like Cataclysm Dragon encounters, character stats, relationships with villagers, Wild level progression, debt management, and unique battles that shape your journey.
Initially, you’ll encounter the standard ending by completing the story normally. To access the variety of other outcomes, you’ll need to deliberately shift your playstyle and satisfy specific conditions before the conclusion of your run.
How to Get All Endings in DRAPLINE
The game presents a rich array of endings structured into several main types.
- Normal game-clear ending
- Cataclysm Dragon endings
- Stat-based endings
- Villager endings
- Debt ending
- Wild ending
- Morgana endings
- Disaster ending
- Eating Competition Champion ending
Be mindful that some Cataclysm Dragon and special endings remain under investigation, so some exact triggers still require confirmation.
A Quiet World Ending
Finish the “Day of the Tornado” chapter to secure this ending.
Hidden Achievement: A Quiet World
This is the default ending that appears after your first full playthrough without special focus.
No special requirements apply here beyond completing the main story and defeating the Ouroboros in the final battle.
Once you conquer the Ouroboros, the game concludes with the standard game-clear ending.
Cataclysm Dragon Endings
There are nine unique endings tied to the Cataclysm Dragons, each offering a distinctive narrative twist.
These endings require obtaining the game’s five key fragments, though the precise criteria are still being decoded.
For instance, a known issue with Fracta’s ending involved the ending not triggering despite owning all fragments and beating the game on Hard level 9, pointing to some additional hidden conditions.
Thunder — Athlete Ending
The Athlete ending correlates with the Thunder Cataclysm Dragon.
Currently, the exact triggers and prerequisites are under investigation; no fully confirmed instructions are available yet.
Moon — Pillow Store Ending
This ending is linked to the Moon Cataclysm Dragon, known as the Pillow Store ending.
Its conditions are also a work in progress and await full confirmation.
While the five fragments are necessary for these Dragon-related endings, don’t rely solely on them; further specific factors affect unlocking each outcome.
Stat-Based Endings
There are six endings dedicated to your character’s primary stats.
Each requires elevating a particular stat to S rank to unlock its respective ending.
The six stat-based endings include:
- HP — Adventurer
- ATK — Bounty Hunter
- VIT — Police
- INT — Researcher
- RES — Writer
- SPD — Deliverer
For example, aiming for the Adventurer ending means focusing your upgrades on pushing your HP stat to S rank instead of spreading points across others.
Similarly, prioritize the corresponding stat for the other five endings without diluting your efforts across multiple attributes.
Villager Endings
The bonds you cultivate with villagers throughout your journey also influence ending outcomes.
Currently, two villager-specific endings have been identified:
Wolf — Hunter-in-training
Strengthen your relationship with Wolf by completing all his bonding events to unlock the Hunter-in-training ending.
Mandrake — Waitress
The Mandrake path yields the Waitress ending.
Maintain an active correspondence by completing mandrake’s bonding events through to the finale.
How Villager Endings Work
One critical limitation is that only one villager ending can trigger per run.
The game does not allow you to select your preferred villager ending outright.
If you’ve completed multiple villager bonds, the game prioritizes the villager whose final bonding event you triggered first. This determines which ending plays.
Additionally, a Morgan ending exists but requires further exploration to detail its unlock conditions.
Debt Ending
Please use responsibly.
Hidden Achievement: Sent to a Labor Facility
This ending revolves around accumulating and retaining debt for a prolonged time.
Once you’re in debt, Keko visits to warn you. Ignoring these warnings triggers further warnings reinforcing the status of unpaid debt.
If you persist with the debt unpaid for over four weeks, the labor facility ending can be triggered.
Wild Ending
Wild Ending
Convenient Snacks
Hidden Achievement: Eaten by the Dragon
This ending activates by pushing your Wild stat into an extreme range.
Reach the Extreme Wild level, prompting a random event where a dragon’s hand emerges at your home.
After this, maintain a High Wild status until the week’s end to unlock the ending.
Strictly note the dragon hand event is random and may require some patient gameplay at Extreme Wild to trigger.
The dragon-hand event is random, so you may need to spend some time in Extreme Wild before it triggers.
Morgana Endings
Two distinct endings relate to the character Morgana.
I surrender…
Hidden Achievement: Sealed by Morgana
To unlock this ending, intentionally lose to Morgana in battle.
Upon defeat, the results screen will trigger this ending along with the associated achievement.
Don’t attempt to win this fight if you want this particular ending; losing is the key.
New Catastrophe
Hidden Achievement: Defeat Morgana and Tiana
The opposite path involves defeating Morgana and Tiana to unlock the New Catastrophe ending.
Disaster Ending
Disaster Ending
A New Catastrophe?
Hidden Achievement: The dragon raised the storm level to its maximum.
This ending demands mastery of the Summon Storm skill.
After defeating the sea god Otaya, you acquire Summon Storm.
Use this skill repeatedly in battle to raise its level to the maximum Level 9.
Engaging a Calamity Dragon battle provides a prime opportunity to build this skill level swiftly, as the skill can be used multiple times per fight.
Reaching Summon Storm Level 9 unlocks the Disaster ending.
You don’t need to play on hard difficulty for this; it can be achieved on any setting.
Eating Competition Champion Ending
Eating Competition Champion Ending
The Eating Competition Champion ending is one of the rarer special endings.
Its exact unlock conditions remain unconfirmed at this time.
Current speculation ties it to consuming a significant number of enemies, but this remains under analysis, and no firm advice on thresholds should be followed yet.
Do You Need Higher Difficulty for Any Ending?
Higher difficulty is not necessary to unlock any of the endings.
You can access every ending on the default difficulty without additional challenge settings.
Playing on harder difficulties can still benefit you by granting more CP, improving your ability to prepare for subsequent runs or demanding battles such as the Disaster ending.
However, it’s not a requirement, so don’t feel pressured to increase difficulty solely for ending variety.
With ongoing efforts to confirm the remaining Cataclysm Dragon and special ending conditions, more updates are expected as new details emerge.
