How to Complete the Redwood Secret Mission
Speak with JACK to trigger the secret quest line. Once active, locate the four objects scattered across the zone and deposit them into the boiling cauldron right next to him.
1. Retrieve the Mysterious Crow
Travel through the Redwood map to locate the stone crow totem. To trigger the item pickup, you must run completely around the totem six times. You can circle it in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.
Each full circle around the monument prompts an audible crow caw. Continue circling until you register six total caws, at which point the Mysterious Crow will be added to your inventory.
2. Retrieve the Mysterious Pumpkin
Scan the skyline of Redwood for a massive, glowing pumpkin marked by a vertical purple light pillar extending upward. Head directly toward the beacon to reach the target location.
When you arrive at the pumpkin, strike it with any melee hit to smash it and acquire the Mysterious Pumpkin.
3. Retrieve the Mysterious Soul
Unlike other quest components, the Mysterious Soul lacks a stationary spawn point. It drops randomly from fallen hostiles anywhere in the zone.
- Confirm you have initiated the mission with JACK so the item is eligible to drop.
- Defeat enemies throughout the Redwood map.
- Inspect enemy loot drops until the soul appears.
Because this drop relies on random chance, clear out hostile packs continuously until the soul materializes.
4. Retrieve the Mysterious Lantern
Gathering the Mysterious Lantern requires collecting 10 distinct flames found within the zone's subterranean caverns. The Redwood territory houses four cave networks.
- Locate a cave entrance and grab the exterior lantern resting outside.
- Head inside the tunnel and scout for hanging or placed lanterns.
- Extinguish the light sources inside to harvest their individual flames.
- Repeat the process across the caves until your flame count reaches 10.
You must assemble all 10 lantern flames before this task is marked complete.
Turning in the Quest Items
Once all four mysterious relics are in your bag, travel back to JACK's camp and toss each piece into the adjacent cauldron.
Depositing the final relic displays a "Secret completed!" notification across your screen, triggering your mission payouts.
