- Before diving into the depths, start by pressing ESC to access the Tutorials menu. This introduction covers essential mechanics such as item gathering and crafting, which are fundamental to mastering Fell & Sell’s systems. Completing the tutorial ensures you won’t miss crucial tips about resource management and inventory use. Afterward, open your Shop and begin your first expedition into the dungeon. Early runs should see you breaking down almost everything you encounter to amass basic crafting materials. If you find the initial floors challenging, returning to the Portal to pick up the Shield on the Grave can bolster your defense and make exploration safer. Stop back at the crafting station to convert your loot into HP and Stamina items , which are vital for sustaining runs.
- Inventory space is limited, so not all collectibles should be hoarded. Sell excess items that don’t contribute to crafting or survival to keep your inventory manageable. However, always hold onto essential HP and Stamina items to maintain endurance during dungeon runs. Crafting three of the same item unlocks a shop bonus that incentivizes efficient resource usage. The bonus reduces the required amount per item: 1 item grants a 100% bonus, 2 items grant a 50% bonus, 3 items grant a 25% bonus. This system encourages crafting batches to maximize profit without unnecessarily draining your materials.

Fell & Sell plunges players into a dungeon crawling experience where resource gathering and crafting go hand in hand. The key to staying alive and advancing lies in collecting the right materials scattered throughout the map and using them wisely to craft weapons and items that enhance combat and survival. Understanding where to farm efficiently and what to prioritize can make the difference between agonizing failure and smooth progression through the game’s challenges.
If you want to progress faster, then make sure to clear the dungeon, collect valuable materials, craft useful items, and sell the rest. In Levels 1 to 10, you can collect & craft basic materials, while Levels 11-15 are good for farming more valuable resources like Iron, Bloodstones, and Runestones.
You should also keep an eye out for recipes and boss loot if you want some powerful gear later.

Press the ESC button and open the Tutorials section. From there, you can learn the basics of the game, like what you have to collect, how you have to craft, etc.
After finishing the tutorial, open your Shop and enter the dungeon.
On your first runs, feel free to destroy everything you find. This gives you the basic materials needed for crafting.
If the first floor feels too difficult, return to the Portal and pick up the Shield on the Grave before going deeper.
Once you have some loot, return to the crafting station and make HP and Stamina items.

This system encourages crafting batches to maximize profit without unnecessarily draining your materials.
You don’t have to keep every item you find. Your inventory will fill up quickly, so sell items that you do not need for crafting or progression.
Make sure you keep your HP items and some Stamina items for your dungeon runs.
For the shop bonus, try to craft 3 of each item when you can.
The bonus works like this:
- 1 item = 100% bonus
- 2 items = 50% bonus
- 3 items = 25% bonus
This lets you get the maximum bonus without wasting too many resources.
Push to the First Boss
Progress through the dungeon floors consistently until you encounter the first boss. Defeating this boss is a milestone that opens access to Boss Chests filled with powerful loot. Manage your inventory by replacing low-value items with high-quality boss drops to optimize your resources. After this victory, retreat to the crafting station and shift your focus to producing Max Capacity items, aiming to craft three of each to reap the full shop bonus.
After defeating the boss, open the Boss Chests and take the useful loot. If your inventory is full, replace less important items with better ones from the boss loot.
Then leave the dungeon and head back to the crafting station.
At this stage, you should focus on crafting Max Capacity items whenever you have enough resources. Try to make three of each item if possible.
Where to Farm Resources?
Farming resources effectively requires knowing where to look. While some materials appear across multiple zones, certain floors lend themselves to specific resource types. Running a few floors repeatedly can yield better results than trying to collect everything indiscriminately.
| Location | Best Resources |
|---|---|
| Forest | Basic supplies, recipes |
| Levels 1-5 | Stone, Leather, Wood, Bones |
| Levels 6-10 | Wood, Mushrooms, Glowing Orbs, Goblin materials, Talismans & Idols |
| Levels 11-15 | Iron, Gold Ore, Bloodstones, Runestones, and other valuable materials |
Levels 11-15 offer the richest picks for crafting valuable gear and materials. Don’t just rely on defeating enemies; break down environmental objects and open crates to uncover hidden resources.

| Levels 6-10 | Wood, Mushrooms, Glowing Orbs, Goblin materials, Talismans & Idols |
| Levels 11-15 | Iron, Gold Ore, Bloodstones, Runestones, and other valuable materials |
Levels 11-15 are the best overall farming area if you need valuable crafting materials.
You don’t have to just kill enemies. Instead, destroy everything around you and open crates. Many useful resources can be collected from objects around the dungeon.
Best Resource Farming Spots
When farming for specific items like Leather , your best bet is the Forest and Levels 1-5 . Targets include leather stands, skeleton remains, and beds, all of which can be broken down for raw materials.
For Leather, check the Forest and Levels 1-5.
Break or search things like:
- Leather stands
- Skeletons
- Beds
Wood
Wood is abundant in the Forest and on Levels 6-10. Break tree roots and wooden furniture scattered throughout these areas to stockpile this essential crafting resource.
Explore the area and search for the wooden objects and tree roots. Break them to get wood.
Mushrooms
Mushrooms grow naturally on the floors of Levels 6-10 and are sometimes found inside chests. Exploring thoroughly will ensure you gather these valuable crafting ingredients.
Explore the area around the forest, as some grow on the floor. You can also get them from chests, as some of them also contain Mushrooms.
Bones
Bones appear mainly in Levels 1-5 and Levels 11-15. Look out for skeleton remains and metal skeleton cages to harvest these materials, which are crucial for certain recipes.
You can get them from Skeleton remains and metal skeleton cages.
Glowing Orbs
Glowing Orbs can be collected between Levels 6-10 and Levels 11-15. Keep an eye out for luminous orb plants and check chests that might contain these glowing items.
You have to look for the Glowing Orb Plants and also check chests as you explore.
Talismans and Idols
Talismans and Idols predominantly drop on Levels 6-10, particularly in goblin-infested areas. Gathering these enhances your crafting options and overall power.
Focus on goblin-related loot while exploring these floors.
How to Farm Iron
For essential metal resources like Iron, focus your farming on the high tier floors between Levels 11-15. Destroy chains, metal urns, candlesticks, chandeliers, and metal skeleton cages; these provide reliable iron drops necessary for advanced weaponry.
You can get it from places like destroying the environment, breaking metal objects, etc.
Look for:
- Hanging chains
- Metal urns and vases
- Candlesticks
- Standing chandeliers
- Metal skeleton cages
How to Farm Bloodstones
Bloodstones also spawn within Levels 11-15. Seek out the floating red crystal shards in larger rooms and break them to collect Bloodstones. Avoid wasting time at the lower level Bloodstone pedestals as they do not yield this resource.
First, you have to search for the floating red crystal shards that are found in the larger rooms. Once you see them, destroy them to get Bloodstones.
Don’t waste your time farming the Bloodstone pedestals on Levels 1-5. They don’t drop Bloodstones.
How to Farm Runestones
Runestones may drop from enemies, but for a more consistent approach, visit the Mana Room on Levels 6-10 where mana capacity can be traded for Runestones. On Levels 11-15, breaking petrified statues or urns can also yield these runic materials.
On Levels 6-10, look for the Mana Room. You can trade your mana max capacity there for Runestones.
You can also find Runestones by breaking praying or slain petrified people on Levels 11-15.
Breaking urns can also give you Runestones, so destroy them when you see them.
Other Valuable Resources
Gold Ore and Alcohol are additional valuable resources found mainly on Levels 11-15. Check barrels and chests diligently. Use mushrooms strategically when crafting requires them.
For collecting Recipes, scouring the Forest Fountain and boss room chests will often reward you with rare and powerful blueprints.
Alcohol can also be found on Levels 11-15. Search chests and barrels, and use Mushroom crafting when required.
For Recipes, check the Forest and Boss areas. The Forest Fountain and Boss Room chests can give you lots of recipes.
Prepare for the Final Dungeon
As you accumulate stronger gear and more resources, push deeper into the dungeon. Early floors require selective looting, but from Levels 6-10 onward, gather more aggressively to prepare for endgame challenges. Regularly craft HP and Stamina items to sustain longer dungeon runs.
For the first few levels, you don’t need to pick up everything. Focus on the loot that you actually need.
From Levels 6-10, start collecting more materials. Once you reach Levels 11-15, loot as much as you can because these floors have valuable resources.
Keep crafting HP and Stamina items between runs so you can stay in the dungeon longer.
Best Weapons for Bosses
When facing bosses, dual-wielding weapons stands out as an effective strategy. Combine the Headtaker with high-damage, stun-capable weapons like an Epic WarHammer or a Legendary Maid to maintain offensive pressure. The Deadeye Patch is also valuable for builds focusing on critical hits.
If you get Headtaker, try pairing it with a high-damage weapon that also has good stun. An Epic WarHammer or Legendary Maid can work well with it.
The Deadeye Patch is also useful for a critical-hit setup.
How to Finish the Game
Endgame progression involves amassing sufficient HP, Stamina, and powerful weapons before entering the final dungeon. Dual-wield attack patterns allow continuous offensive actions even when bosses block frequently. After conquering the ultimate boss, return to the Grave for an additional boss fight that is manageable with high-tier gear and well-stocked healing items.
For one of the later bosses, dual-wield attacks can keep the pressure on even when the boss blocks frequently.
After the final boss, go back to the Grave.
There you can also fight another boss. It isn’t too difficult if you already have good gear and enough healing items.
The current progression loop in Fell & Sell is straightforward but demands efficient resource management: farm the appropriate floors to gather critical materials, craft items that enable deeper dungeon exploration, sell excess loot to finance upgrades, and gradually push further into the dungeon’s challenges. Mastering this cycle paves the way to conquering all the threats lurking below.
