Villagers in Fields of Mistria each respond uniquely to gifts, and learning what they like can transform your interactions. Instead of aimless guessing, knowing which gifts they cherish or appreciate can streamline building friendships, making your farming life in this vibrant world more rewarding.
This detailed overview highlights every NPC’s birthday, alongside their loved and liked gifts, complete with values that help you understand the best timing for giving presents. Tracking these preferences ensures you target the right moments for the highest friendship gains.
Gift Values
Your relationship boost depends heavily on both the gift’s quality and the day you present it. Delivering a loved gift on an NPC’s birthday grants the most friendship points, accelerating your bond far faster than regular days.

|---|---|---|
| Loved | +20 | +40 |
| Liked | +10 | +30 |
| Neutral | +3 | +23 |
| Disliked | +0 | +20 |
| Hated | +0 | +20 |
Gift Themes
Recognizing common themes in NPC gift preferences makes memorization far simpler. Many characters are drawn to particular categories like flowers or crafting materials, allowing you to prepare your inventory with confidence.
- Adeline: Lemons, pink-themed items, and elegant gifts
- Balor: Gems, gold, and various curries
- Celine: Blossoming flowers
- Eiland: Sweet desserts
- Hayden: Animal-related products and pies
- Juniper: Magic, mushrooms, and unusual objects
- March: Metallic ores and minerals

- Ryis: Crafting materials and gilded animal products

One savvy tip is to place a gift chest near your home, stocked with commonly liked items such as flowers, ores, and cooking ingredients. This handy storage means no more wandering your entire farm searching for the perfect present when opportunity strikes.
Fields of Mistria All NPC Gift Guide
Keep an eye on Elsie’s Gossip each day. Even after learning many villagers' favorites, Elsie remains a key source of fresh hints about what gifts to offer next.
Elsie offers information on three NPCs daily, revealing if the hint applies to a loved or liked gift. Selecting one villager reveals one of their gift preferences, letting you narrow down choices confidently.
When you discover a gift preference this way, a faded icon appears in the villager’s journal until you present them with that item, helping track your gifting progress visually.
