How to Know If You Found a New Recipe

When experimenting with ingredients, the game helps by signaling when you’ve picked the correct components for a new recipe. Watch for an exclamation mark on the final ingredient and a recipe silhouette appearing with your cursor, which means you’re about to unlock something fresh.

This visual cue simplifies discovering new dishes, preventing endless guesswork and speeding up your cooking journey. No player level is needed to use common ingredients like Sugar, Honey, and Flour, so you can dive in as soon as you gather the necessary items.

This makes it easier to identify when you are about to discover something new.

There is also no level requirement for using ingredients such as Sugar, Honey, and Flour. If you have many fruits and vegetables, you may need to scroll down the ingredient list to find the other items.

How to Get Bad Bait?

Bad Bait is a unique item crafted by cooking Magic Bait. You can cook up to five Magic Bait at once, with each yielding one Bad Bait. Achieving a perfect score in the cooking mini-game doubles your output, making it an efficient way to stockpile this resource.

You can put up to five Magic Bait into the cooking process. Each Magic Bait gives you one Bad Bait.

If you get a perfect result in the cooking minigame, the amount you receive will be doubled.

Notably, Bad Bait doesn’t appear in the recipe book, so you’ll need to remember this cooking method manually for future use.

When hunting for undiscovered recipes, pay attention to the frogs’ dialogues. They often drop hints about their favorite foods, giving subtle clues toward viable ingredient combinations.

If you want to find recipes yourself instead of checking the full list, pay attention to what the frogs say.

Additionally, quest rewards sometimes include prepared foods that visually suggest new recipes that you might then try to recreate in your kitchen.

Quests can also reward you with food. Sometimes the food you receive gives you a visual clue that helps you work out another recipe.
