The key to unlocking Garden In!’s achievements isn’t just grinding through tasks but understanding how plant care, room expansion, and hybridization work together. Careful planning and keeping your garden organized greatly improve your experience as you chase every trophy.
Early Game Achievements
These achievements typically come naturally as you familiarize yourself with the basics of gardening and crafting in Garden In!. Simple interactions like changing room colors or watering plants are often enough to unlock them fairly early without needing special effort.
Time for Renovations
Time for Renovations
Changing your room’s color palette is one of the first ways to personalize your space—and one of the first achievements you’ll earn.
Head into the room customization menu by selecting the paint palette icon, pick any available color scheme you like, and confirm your choice. The achievement unlocks instantly upon making any change, so no need to worry about finding the ‘right’ color.
Tip: Opt for your favorite colors here—this unlock won’t restrict your aesthetic choices.
Taking Notes
Taking Notes
The Herbarium is your garden’s record keeper, tracking every plant you encounter and grow.
Simply open the brown book marked HERBARIUM in the game’s user interface. Unlocking it for the first time will grant you this achievement immediately.
If it doesn’t trigger right away, try closing and reopening the menu after progressing a little further in your playthrough.
The Mendel Experiment
The Mendel Experiment
Hybridization is central to Garden In!’s gameplay, and placing seeds into a Hybridization Vase kicks off this mechanic and its related achievement.
Once you have a Hybridization Vase, insert any two compatible seeds into it. The achievement pops up as soon as both seeds are planted—you don’t need to wait for the hybrid to grow.
Dry No More
Dry No More
Plants inevitably dry out if neglected, but watering a parched plant grants this achievement.
Let one of your plants get visibly dry, then water it normally. This immediate action triggers the achievement as soon as the plant receives water again.
Who’s a Good Plant?
Who’s a Good Plant?
Occasionally, your plants will crave attention, indicated by a floating heart icon above them.
When you see this, simply interact with the plant by petting it to unlock the achievement.
Leave My Baby Alone
Leave My Baby Alone
Bugs can infest your plants from time to time, identifiable by small black insects swarming around them.
Use disinfectant spray to clear these pests. The achievement will unlock as soon as you eliminate the infestation.
Once the infestation is cleared, you’ll earn the achievement.

You can complete this in two different ways:
- Place 30 fully grown single-pot plants, or
- Place 15 fully grown hybrid pots, since each hybrid pot contains two plants.
The achievement unlocks as soon as the room contains enough identical plants.
The achievement triggers as soon as the threshold is met.
Fast Strategy
Cloning a plant you already have simplifies this challenge. Don’t stress about rare species—just replicate whichever plant you can in volume.
Landlord

Mid-Game Preparation Tips
Mid-game is a prime window to get your garden organized and set up strategies that’ll save significant time later.
Keep Every Room Organized
Keep Every Room Organized
Assign each room a clear, specific purpose instead of cluttering spaces with mixed plants and items.
A practical setup is:
- Main Room: Hub for research and daily tasks.
- Laboratory: Dedicated hybrid breeding area.
- Balcony: Area for trying out newly discovered species.
- Garden: Large-scale farming spot tailored for quantity achievements.
Maintaining this order helps you track which achievements and tasks you’re working on more easily.
Never Leave Research Idle
Never Leave Research Idle
Research underpins almost every advancement in Garden In!. To keep momentum, start a new project as soon as another completes.
Regular research yields:
- New seeds and plant types
- Unique flower pots
- Camera filters

Continue Unlocking New Hybrids
Continue Unlocking New Hybrids
Variety is key to achievements that require completing the entire plant collection, so don’t stick with favorites for too long.
Experiment with new hybrid combinations and grow different species to keep your garden diverse and progress briskly.
Save Space for Collection Achievements
Save Space for Collection Achievements
Later achievements demand lots of space and plant variety: dozens of plants in a room, hundreds cared-for, and a large species collection.
Don’t overcrowd your rooms with decorations. Leaving open space early on makes meeting these size-based challenges much more manageable.
If you leave a bit of extra space now, those achievements will be much easier to complete later.
