The Universal Festival update in Universal Tower Defense X introduced one of the biggest evolution grinds the game has seen so far with the release of Triple Threat Unrivaled. To evolve Triple Threat into its final form, players now need to collect four different Unrivaled Fragments scattered across several raid modes and endgame challenges.

After grinding the update myself for a while, Fragment 3 is honestly the one that feels truly painful because of the low drop chance and difficult challenge requirements. Some of the others are manageable with consistent farming, but a few definitely feel designed for long-term grinding sessions.
The reason everyone is farming these fragments nonstop right now is because Triple Threat Unrivaled has already become one of the strongest meta units currently available.
Even though the evolution does not massively increase raw stats immediately, the passive abilities unlocked afterward are incredibly strong.
Triple Threat Unrivaled Evolution
Before talking about the fragment locations themselves, it is important to understand why players care so much about these items.
All four Unrivaled Fragments are required to evolve:
- Triple Threat Evolved
into: - Triple Threat Unrivaled
Once evolved, the unit gains powerful passive effects that dramatically improve its overall performance in difficult content.
After watching several late-game teams use the evolved version, it honestly becomes obvious very quickly why players are grinding these fragments so aggressively right now.
Unrivaled Fragment One Location
Unrivaled Fragment One is honestly one of the easiest fragments to obtain.
Players can buy it directly from the:
- Warlord Ship Raid Shop
The cost is:
- 300 Candy
Candy is earned by clearing content inside the Warlord Ship Raid itself.
Compared to some of the other fragment grinds, this one mostly comes down to consistency instead of luck. If players keep farming the raid regularly, eventually reaching 300 Candy is very manageable.
Warlord Ship Raid Farming Tips
Even though Fragment One is considered easier, the Warlord Ship Raid can still become difficult during longer sessions because enemies and bosses have massive HP pools.
While testing runs myself, strong DPS setups made an enormous difference in clear speed.
Units that performed especially well included:
- Machi Pirate
- Sharpshooter King
Debuff units honestly help a lot here because slowing or weakening enemies makes the huge HP pools much more manageable during late waves.
Unrivaled Fragment Two Location
Unrivaled Fragment Two comes from:
- Beast’s World Stage
inside: - World Raid
Unlike Fragment One, this fragment depends entirely on RNG drops.
The current drop rate is approximately:
- 5% chance
That means some players get lucky quickly while others may need many clears before finally seeing the fragment drop.
Dragon Warlord Boss Fight
The Beast’s World Raid becomes difficult mainly because of the Dragon Warlord boss appearing every fifth wave.
Players must survive:
- 15 Waves Total
The Dragon Warlord has over:
- 35 Million HP
The boss also applies heavy debuffs to player units, which can quickly destroy weaker teams if stuns and damage rotations are not handled properly.
Honestly, without strong meta units, this raid becomes much slower and more frustrating than expected.
Best Units For Fragment Two Farming
After running the raid multiple times, several units consistently stood out during clears.
The strongest choices currently seem to be:
- Joyful Captain
- Gluttonous Warlord
These units deal enough sustained damage to help burn through the Dragon Warlord before debuffs spiral out of control.
Stunning the boss quickly also helps massively during later waves.
Unrivaled Fragment Three Location
Fragment Three is easily the most frustrating fragment in the entire evolution grind.
Players obtain it from:
- Mirror World Challenge
Current drop chance:
- 4%
The low drop rate alone is painful, but thankfully the developers added a pity system to prevent completely endless bad luck.
After:
- 35 Runs
Players are guaranteed to receive the fragment automatically if it still has not dropped naturally.
Honestly, without the pity system, this grind would probably be unbearable for many players.
Mirror World Challenge Difficulty
Mirror World is difficult even before considering the drop rates.
Enemies throughout the challenge have extremely high armor values, and the final Machi Warlord boss is incredibly tanky.
This mode honestly punishes underdeveloped teams very hard.
Before farming Fragment Three seriously, I highly recommend upgrading your main damage dealers fully because weak teams end up wasting huge amounts of time during failed runs.
Why Fragment Three Feels So Bad
The main issue with Fragment Three is the combination of:
- Low drop chance
- Long challenge duration
- Tanky enemies
- Heavy farming repetition
Even with decent teams, repeated Mirror World runs become exhausting pretty quickly.
Most players currently farming Triple Threat Unrivaled agree that Fragment Three is by far the worst part of the evolution process.
Unrivaled Fragment Four Location
Fragment Four is honestly much easier compared to Fragment Three.
Players can obtain it through:
- Shinobi Battlefield Raid Shop
Or directly from:
- Stage Three of Conquered Lands Legends
Most players prefer farming the Conquered Lands version because it is generally faster and less exhausting compared to long raid sessions.
Fastest Fragment Four Farming Method
After comparing both methods, Conquered Lands Legends Stage Three definitely feels like the better option overall.
The stage clears much faster, requires less setup, and allows players to repeat runs quickly without sitting through extremely long raid waves repeatedly.
If you only need Fragment Four specifically, this is honestly the route I would recommend first.
Evolving Triple Threat Unrivaled
Once all four fragments are collected, players can visit:
- Evolutions NPC
There, Triple Threat Evolved can finally become:
- Triple Threat Unrivaled
The raw stat increases themselves are not massively overwhelming immediately, but the passive abilities unlocked afterward completely change how strong the unit feels during difficult content.
That is why so many endgame players are prioritizing this evolution currently.

Best Farming Advice
After grinding the fragments personally, these tips honestly helped the most.
Focus On Strong DPS Teams
Boss HP pools are extremely high across all raids.
Upgrade Units Before Mirror World
Fragment Three farming becomes miserable with weak teams.
Use Debuff Units
Boss control matters heavily during difficult raids.
Expect Long RNG Sessions
Especially for Fragments Two and Three.
Use Pity Systems Wisely
Fragment Three eventually guarantees progress after enough runs.
The Unrivaled Fragment grind honestly feels like one of the biggest endgame progression walls Universal Tower Defense X has added recently.
Some fragments are fairly reasonable, especially Fragment One and Fragment Four, but Fragment Three especially turns into a serious commitment due to the difficult Mirror World challenge and low drop chance.
Still, once Triple Threat finally evolves into its Unrivaled form, the payoff immediately makes sense because the unit becomes incredibly powerful for current meta content.
For now, most late-game players are probably going to spend a huge amount of time farming these fragments until they finally complete the full evolution.
