Librarian Tidy Up the Arcane Library Book Locations Guide

I’m not even going to lie, this guide exists because I got tired of second-guessing myself every time a section didn’t turn blue. If you’ve played this, you already know the pain of thinking everything is correct… and then nothing happens.

So yeah, I ended up writing everything down properly, and since it helped me, I figured it’s worth sharing.

One quick thing before we start:
When a section is done correctly, the light above it turns blue. If it doesn’t, something is wrong. Don’t assume it’s a bug, it’s probably just one book out of place. Happened to me more times than I want to admit.

Also, if you spot any mistake here, fair enough. Typing all of this out was… not fun.

1st Floor

There are 14 sections (1A to 1N), each with its own theme. The trick is recognizing patterns like color, symbols, and book types.


1A: Monsterology

Everything here has a brown or earthy tone.

I’ll keep this readable, but everything below follows the same idea:

  • 2C Daily Magic – pastel themed
  • 2D Mathematics – recognizable by spine symbols
  • 2E Art – random colors
  • 2F Management – dark blue
  • 2G Economics – green
  • 2H Sociology – brownish/pink/orange
  • 2I Psychology – dark red
  • 2J Philosophy – white
  • 2K Law (Jurisprudence) – green/blue
  • 2L Romance – lots of pink
  • 2M Mystery – darker themed fiction
  • 2N History – red/purple/orange
  • 2O Otherworld Travels – mixed but themed
  • 2P Dungeons – pink/purple
  • 2Q Language – red/green

Each section follows the same structure:

  • 10-volume core books
  • 3 or 5-volume side books

If you’re going for the Anti-Magic Master achievement, this is honestly one of the more tedious parts of the game.

The biggest mistakes usually come from:

  • Misplacing just one book
  • Mixing up similar color themes
  • Not noticing small shelf differences

If the light doesn’t turn blue, don’t overthink it. Just go back slowly and check everything again.

That’s literally what I had to do over and over.
