Lucid Blocks Golden Items Guide – Crafting Tips

Lucid Blocks presents a world full of exploration and crafting opportunities, where players seek to unlock powerful golden items to enhance their gameplay. Securing these coveted weapons and tools elevates your character’s capabilities and opens new strategic avenues throughout the game.

Before diving into the golden item crafting process, it is important to have a foundation of essential tools. Typically acquired after a few hours of gameplay, these include a Gyro Hook , any pickaxe , axe , and sword . The Gyro Hook is crafted by combining Light Pincers with a Hook , a vital tool for mobility and material gathering required later.

How to get Golden Items and Weapons in Lucid Blocks

In this guide, I explain the exact method I use to obtain Golden Items and weapons in Lucid Blocks. This guide is intended for players who have already spent at least a few hours in the game. Because of that, I do not cover basic crafting mechanics such as grappling hooks, light grapples, or gyroscope hooks.

Instead, I focus directly on the process that leads to Golden Items.

Items I Prepare Before Starting

Before I begin the process, I make sure I already have a few essential tools. These are basic items that most players should already know how to craft after playing for one or two hours.

Here are the tools I always bring with me:

• Gyro Hook
• Any pick
• Any axe
• Any sword

To craft a Gyro Hook, I combine Light Pincers with a Hook. Once I have this tool, I am ready to start searching for the structure that makes the rest of the process possible.

Your next objective is to locate a special structure scattered across biomes, easily identified by two connected Minecraft-style houses with windows and multiple boxes inside. This location is critical as it houses nearly all components you’ll need to begin crafting golden items. Its universal biome presence makes it accessible no matter where you explore.

The next step is locating a specific structure in the world. In my experience, this structure can appear in any biome, which makes the method quite universal and easy to apply. Sometimes I even find it in biomes with flying creatures, which can make the process faster if I am lucky.

The structure I look for resembles two Minecraft style houses placed next to each other. These houses have visible windows and contain multiple boxes inside.

This structure is important because it contains almost everything I need to start crafting Golden Items.

Collecting Glass Shards and Mercury

Inside the structure, focus on breaking the glass windows first to collect Glass Shards. Then, smash the boxes scattered throughout; these are rich in Mercury, a rare and necessary material for your crafting journey. Gathering several Mercury units alongside at least one Glass Shard sets the stage for the next phase.

After that, I start breaking the boxes inside the buildings. Many of these boxes contain Mercury. Since there are a lot of boxes in the structure, finding Mercury usually does not take long.

At this point I normally collect several units of Mercury along with at least one Glass Shard.

Creating and Using the Mercury Capsule

Combine your collected Mercury with a Glass Shard to craft a Mercury Capsule. Deploy the capsule by throwing it onto the ground, summoning a Mercury Slime. Defeating this slime rewards you with additional Mercury and Goo, both essential for progressing towards golden item creation.

To use it, I throw the capsule on the ground with the right mouse button. When it lands, a Mercury Slime appears.

I defeat the Mercury Slime, and when it dies it drops more Mercury and Goo. These materials are essential for the next crafting step.

Crafting the Scythe

Use the Goo from the Mercury Slime and combine it with your Gyro Hook to forge a Scythe. This newly crafted weapon is the cornerstone for upgrading other tools and weapons to their coveted golden variants.

This crafting recipe creates a Scythe.

The Scythe is the key component that allows me to start upgrading tools into their Golden variants.

Creating Golden Weapons and Items

With the Scythe in hand, start combining it with other weapons to create golden versions possessing enhanced stats. For instance, merging a Scythe with a Rapier yields Methuselah, one of the signature golden weapons. Experimentation with various tool combinations will allow you to unlock a full suite of golden items to boost your gameplay.

For example, when I combine a Scythe with a Rapier, the result is Methuselah.

Using this method, I can continue experimenting with other tools and combinations to unlock additional Golden Items in Lucid Blocks.
