By the end of the quest, you’ll uncover the tragic fate of a lost follower and help Dew begin restoring a wandering soul.

Quest Walkthrough
Arrive at Winds’ Rest
After crossing the Gyldenblod Sea, you finally arrive at Winds’ Rest, a peaceful refuge that has remained untouched by the Mistfall. Unlike the dangerous regions outside, Winds’ Rest serves as your main hub where you can prepare equipment, meet important characters, and accept future missions.
Here you meet Dew, who has been waiting for your arrival.
Talk to Dew for the First Time
Speak with Dew to begin the story. During your conversation, she officially welcomes you to Winds’ Rest and explains that this sanctuary will become your new home as a Gyldhunter. This conversation also marks the beginning of your journey and ties your fate to the struggle against the Gyldenmist.
Prepare Your Equipment
After speaking with Dew, head to the Warehouse inside Winds’ Rest.
Here you’ll learn how to prepare your gear before entering dangerous regions. Make sure everything is equipped before leaving, as future expeditions become much more challenging.
Speak with Dew Again
Return to Dew after preparing your equipment.
She explains that someone has been discovered praying deep inside the Hallowgrove. The survivor may possess valuable information, so she asks you to investigate the situation personally.
Meet Soekja the White Crow
Go to the docks and speak with Soekja, the White Crow.
Although Soekja has an unusual personality, it serves as both the messenger and navigator of Winds’ Rest. During your conversation, Soekja reveals that Woodling Pip has located the mysterious follower near the Verdant Grounds inside the Hallowgrove.
After the conversation, travel to the Hallowgrove.
Find Pip in the Hallowgrove
Travel through the Hallowgrove until you reach the Verdant Grounds.
There you’ll find Woodling Pip, who has already located the follower. Unfortunately, you arrive too late. The follower has already died, leaving behind only a damaged bell as evidence of what happened.
Collect the damaged bell before returning to Winds’ Rest.
Return to Dew
Bring the damaged bell back to Dew and report everything you discovered.
After examining the bell fragment, Dew identifies the deceased follower as a blacksmith whose soul became lost because of an anomaly connected to the Divine Anchor. She explains that the bell fragment can be used during a ritual to summon the blacksmith’s spirit back to the camp, although completing the ritual will take some time.
With your report delivered, the Voice of Prayer quest comes to an end, opening the path to the next stage of your adventure in Mistfall Hunter.
