Since every accessory has randomized modifiers, even a common item can become one of the best pieces of equipment if it rolls the right stats. Here’s everything you need to know before selling or equipping accessories.

How Accessories Work

You can equip up to three accessories at once:

  • Head
  • Back
  • Wrist

Each accessory provides its own stat modifiers, allowing you to combine multiple bonuses to fit your playstyle.

Unlike many Roblox games, accessories in Storage Hunters Open World don’t always have fixed stats. Two copies of the exact same accessory can have completely different modifiers.

Because of this, you should always inspect an accessory before selling it.

Should You Sell Accessories?

Not immediately.

The item’s selling price isn’t the most important factor. What really matters is the stat roll.

For example:

  • A cheap Cardboard Hat with excellent Luck or Walk Speed may be far more valuable than an expensive accessory with poor or negative modifiers.
  • High-value accessories can still roll undesirable stats.

Always check the modifiers before deciding whether to keep or sell an item.

Where to Find Accessories

Most accessories are found inside storage units throughout the game’s different map areas.

Some accessories also appear more frequently in locations such as:

  • Junkyard
  • Back Alley
  • Farmyard

Exploring higher-level storage units generally gives you access to rarer accessories.

Head Accessories

Some of the available head accessories include:

  • Cardboard Hat
  • Fruit Skin Helmet
  • Party Hat
  • Straw Hat
  • Scrap Blox
  • Scrap Dominus
  • Rider Helmet
  • Skull Domino Crown
  • Gangster Blox
  • Bear Cap
  • Gangster Dominus

These range from inexpensive items worth around $40 to premium accessories valued at $15,000 or more.

Wrist Accessories

Wrist accessories include:

  • Safe Wrist Band
  • Flower Wrist Band
  • Spike Wrist Band
  • Pink Watch
  • C4 Wrist Band

Like head accessories, each one can roll different stat modifiers regardless of its base value.

Every Accessory Stat Explained

Luck

Increases your overall Luck.

Higher Luck generally improves the quality of rewards you receive while playing.

Energy Drink Time

Extends the duration of Energy Drink effects.

This allows temporary buffs to last longer before needing another consumable.

Tip Chance

Increases the chance of receiving Diamonds from customer tips.

A useful stat if you’re focused on maximizing your long-term income.

Walk Speed

Increases your character’s movement speed.

This helps you travel between storage units, NPCs, and auction areas much faster.

Vehicle Speed

Improves your vehicle’s movement speed.

Useful for players who spend a lot of time driving across the map.

NPC Offers Bonus

Increases how much NPC buyers are willing to pay for your items.

This is one of the strongest money-making modifiers, especially if you frequently sell directly to NPCs.

Bid Recovery

Refills your auction bid meter faster.

This allows you to place bids more frequently during competitive auctions.

Bid Zone Width

Increases the size of the bidding zone during auctions.

A larger zone makes successful bids easier to land consistently.

Bid Arrow Speed

Changes the movement speed of the auction arrow.

Some players prefer faster arrows, while others find slower speeds easier to time.

Whether this is an advantage depends on your personal preference.

Can Accessories Have Negative Stats?

Yes.

Not every modifier is positive.

Some accessories roll negative modifiers that reduce certain stats instead of increasing them.

For example, an accessory may provide extra Walk Speed but reduce another useful attribute.

This makes checking every accessory extremely important before equipping or selling it.

How to Equip Accessories

If you’re a new player, complete the tutorial first.

After that:

  1. Open your inventory by pressing T or using the Inventory button.
  2. Go to the Accessories tab.
  3. Select a Head, Back, or Wrist accessory.
  4. Equip it.

Since each slot is separate, you can combine three different accessories and stack multiple bonuses together.

Best Accessory Stats

If your goal is to progress quickly, these are generally the most valuable modifiers:

  • Luck
  • NPC Offers Bonus
  • Walk Speed
  • Tip Chance
  • Vehicle Speed
  • Bid Recovery

Players who focus on auctions should prioritize Bid Recovery and Bid Zone Width, while money-focused players will usually benefit more from Luck and NPC Offers Bonus.

Tips for Choosing Accessories

Keep these tips in mind before selling anything:

  • Always inspect modifiers before selling.
  • Don’t judge an accessory by its base value alone.
  • Replace weaker rolls as you find better ones.
  • Mix accessories to create a build that matches your playstyle.
  • Watch out for negative modifiers that may outweigh the positives.

A low-value accessory with excellent stat rolls can easily outperform a rare accessory with poor modifiers, making careful inspection one of the best ways to improve your overall progression in Storage Hunters Open World.
