When you reach the Thelend Broadcasting building, the main entrance is boarded up tight. Instead, skirt around to the right and make your way in through a gap in the wall. Inside, a TV set lets you cycle through four Studio Cams , offering glimpses of a door glowing ominously in red.
Go north beyond the reception counter and slip into the room on your right to find the Recording Booth. Here, focus on the Audio/Video Console, noticing the loose wire dangling from channel 2 on the top audio strip. You can connect this to any channel from 1 to 7 on the bottom strip, but hold off on making choices just yet.
You can inspect the TV set as soon as you enter the station. It lets you swap between four Studio Cams, one of which shows a door bathed in red light.
Head north behind the counter and enter the room to the right to reach the Recording Booth. Check the Audio/Video Console.
Elsewhere in the station, the office to the left remains locked for now, so keep moving forward. A detour east leads you to the Toilet, where you’ll find some extra Money and Ammo—not essential but handy if you’re low.
The door to the office on the left is locked for now.
Head east and you’ll spot the Toilet on the right. You’ll get some Money and Ammo inside. It’s not that important.
Proceed north to an editing section by taking a left through the door. Inside the Editing Area, head to the doorway marked Stage 1 on the left. Before pushing onward, save your game at the nearby Phone and pick up the Technical Manual resting on the table. This manual is crucial as it details the correct cable configurations needed back at the recording booth.
From here, go through the door with the Stage 1 sign on the left.
Save your progress at the Phone and then grab the Technical Manual from the table.
The second page of the Technical Manual shows you how to arrange the Cables for audio in the Recording Booth. But first you’ll have to find two Cables.
Two Cables are required to solve the puzzle in the recording booth. The first is found in the Editing Bay : exit the pantry to the right, enter the room lit by a Live Show sign, then move right to confront and defeat an enemy dropping from above. The cable awaits you on a console to the right.
The first Cable is inside the Editing Bay. Leave the Pantry through the door on the right and enter the room with the Live Show light above it.
Go right and take down the enemy that drops in from the ceiling.
The first Cable is on the console to the right. Pick it up.
Explore carefully; a combination-locked gate blocks part of this area, with a collection of VHS Tapes nearby. Titles on these tapes are more than decoration—they’re clues for the combination puzzle ahead.
Head east into the Storage area, smashing through a padlocked gate to access the northern pathways. Be ready for an ambush by an enemy entering from the left—the fight ramps up, so stay alert.
An enemy will barge in through the door to the left as soon as you reach this area. Take it down.
Inside a room to your left, find the Cyan Lens. This item will be important for a puzzle later on. Continue east and north, close to the Backdoor Exit, staying sharp for enemies.
Go east next and go up the passage to the north, just before the Backdoor Exit.
A monstrous foe drops from the ceiling as you enter the next area—defeat it and grab the second Cable from a shelf nearby. Now, return to the Recording Booth and place the cables in the right slots following the diagram from the Technical Manual. A whisper echoes, reciting four cryptic phrases:
- All Lies
- Red Light
- No Breaks
- The Last Exit
Return to the Recording Booth and interact with the console. Insert them into the correct slots according to the image found in the Technical Manual. Check the image above for the correct solution.
You’ll now hear a whisper in the room repeating four phrases:
- All Lies
- Red Light
- No Breaks
- The Last Exit
Back in the Editing Bay, cross-reference these phrases with your VHS Tape titles. Note the following numbers associated with each phrase:
- All Lies – Rear View Lies – 0
- Red Light – Red Light, Dead Night – 0
- No Brakes – No Brakes No Mercy – 0
- The Last Exit – Finale: Last Exit – 2
Input the code 0002 on the combination panel to unlock the gate.
- All Lies – Rear View Lies – 0
- Red Light – Red Light, Dead Night – 0
- No Brakes – No Brakes No Mercy – 0
- The Last Exit – Finale: Last Exit – 2
Enter the code 0002 into the Combination panel on the left to open the gate
Open the chest beyond to collect the Backdoor Key. There’s also a TV you can interact with, displaying a show that adds atmospheric depth to the eerie setting.
Access Stage 1 Area
Return to the Backdoor Exit near the Storage area. Use the Backdoor Key to open the door and step outside. Descend the stairs and continue north, where an ambush awaits. Eliminate the attackers, then branch left to find another passage leading further north.
Go down the stairs and continue up the passage to the north.
You will run into an ambush here. Take down the enemies, then go left to find another passage heading north.
Near the stairs, a path veers north toward the Antenna area, but a locked door bars access. Continue left, then follow the southern exit at the end. Climb through a window onto a ledge to reach the Office, where you’ll find the Stage 1 Key on the table. Prepare for an ambush from above, defeat the enemy, and unlock the door to reconnect this room with the rest of the zone.
Continue left and take the southern path at the end. The door up the ladder is locked for now. Take the south exit from here as well.
Jump up the ledge to the right and climb in through the window to reach the Office.
Grab the Stage 1 Key from the table. An enemy will ambush you from above. Take it down and unlock the door to the right to connect the room with the rest of the zone.
Head back to the Pantry and use the Stage 1 Key to open the northern door, stepping into Stage 1. Look out for an air vent on the left—use it to grab a Memento. To your right, the Stage Light has three slots for colored lenses; you already have the Cyan Lens, but two more are needed to solve the light puzzle.
There’s an air vent to the left that will lead you to a Memento. Go through the door to the right.
Check the Stage Light aiming at the area below.
There are slots to enter three colored lenses on the Stage Light. We already found the Cyan Lens, so we can put that in. But to solve the puzzle, we still need two more lenses.
Obtaining the Yellow Lens
Walk right from the Stage Light to a stairway leading down to Stage A. Nearby, you’ll find the Thelend Broadcasting Map. To your right, a door offers a shortcut back to Storage. When ready, descend the stairs into Stage A.
At the bottom of the stairs on a chair lies the Terminal Drive Script. After collecting this, proceed left to confront enemies protecting the area. Once clear, claim the Tower Key from a table.
Pick it up. Then head all the way to the left to the next room. Take out the enemies and grab the Tower Key from the table.
The door to the left unlocks a shortcut back to the back alley of the station.
The left door unlocks a shortcut to the station’s back alley. Use this route to reach the Antenna area, marked on your map, and use the Tower Key to breach the gate.
Climb the ladder up the tower, but be swift. At its peak, grab the Yellow Lens and race back down as a flock of crows attacks. They won’t follow you beyond this area.
You’ll need to be quick when you reach the apex. Grab the Yellow Lens and quickly run down the ladder. You’ll be attacked by a horde of crows. They won’t attack you once you leave the area.
Obtaining the Magenta Lens
Return to Stage A and head right to descend stairs leading to the Workshop. Turn left and continue forward until reaching a metal catwalk in the Prop Storage. Dispatch the enemy ahead, then proceed north to a door and descend a manhole into a lower level.
Turn left and continue forward till you reach a metal catwalk section of the Prop Storage. Take out the enemy up ahead. Then head north up the passage.
Go all the way to the right and head through the door. Go down the manhole to the lower section.
After defeating an enemy inside, turn left and then take the southern exit. Make your way right until you find the Magenta Lens resting on a table—pick it up to complete your lens collection.
Go all the way to the right to find the Magenta Lens sitting on a table. Pick it up.
Thelend Broadcasting Boss Fight
Back at the Stage Light, slot the Yellow and Magenta Lenses in place while removing the Cyan Lens. This configuration turns the stage light red, revealing the previously seen red-lit door on the Stage Cam.
To do so, make sure the Magenta and Yellow Lenses are inserted while the Cyan is pulled out. You’ll find this information on the third page of the Technical Manual.
Head back down to Stage A and approach this door to trigger the rematch boss fight: the relentless creature from the Town Hall returns with increased aggression. Its tactics haven’t changed, but expect a tougher challenge.
The battle is straightforward—keep your distance, maintain steady shots, and dodge when necessary. After victory, collect the 8 Ball Gear Shift Memento from the fallen boss, then pass through the stage door to transition to a new, mysterious location.
This fight is pretty straightforward. Keep running away and shooting at the boss till it goes down. You can grab the 8 Ball Gear Shift Memento from the body after defeating the boss. Enter through the door on the stage to get transported somewhere else.
Finale: A Place That Ends
The new area isn’t mapped and feels disconnected from everything you’ve seen before. Take a moment to absorb the unsettling atmosphere before venturing eastward.
Interact with the intercom ahead to communicate with someone on the other side, deepening the narrative and setting up the final sequences.
Keep moving forward until a hole in the floor appears. Leap through it to continue your journey toward the conclusion.
