- The Bejeweled Burger isn’t just about grabbing the item — the guard standing watch plays a huge role in your approach. Your notebook outlines four different tactics to steal this prize, primarily revolving around creative distractions. Below, you’ll find each method explained in the order they appear in your notebook, along with key steps to pull them off flawlessly.
- One of the easiest ways to get a shot at the burger starts with feeding the guard. Outside the room where the Bejeweled Burger is displayed, the character Brick can create a distraction by dropping a burger for the guard to eat. While the guard is busy munching away, you can safely snap photos without worry. Getting these photos is crucial before continuing with the actual theft in the library area.
- Method 2 – Make the Guard Eat off the Wall
- Method 3 – Throw the Burger into the Library
- Method 4 – Start a Dog Dance Party
Walking through Snap & Grab’s first episode introduces you to clever and quirky ways of pulling off heists, and the Bejeweled Burger quickly becomes a fan favorite. It’s small and shiny, but don’t be fooled — if you haven’t fully grasped the game’s mechanics, this seemingly simple target can be surprisingly tricky to nab. Whether you’re trying to master the basics or aiming to tick off all challenges, understanding how to handle the Bejeweled Burger is a must.
The Bejeweled Burger isn’t just about grabbing the item — the guard standing watch plays a huge role in your approach. Your notebook outlines four different tactics to steal this prize, primarily revolving around creative distractions. Below, you’ll find each method explained in the order they appear in your notebook, along with key steps to pull them off flawlessly.
Your heist notebook lists four different challenge methods for stealing the Bejeweled Burger, however three of these ways are less about how to steal the burger and more about finding new ways to distract the guard who prevents you from photographing it. Below is every method for stealing it in the same order they’re listed in the notebook.
One of the easiest ways to get a shot at the burger starts with feeding the guard. Outside the room where the Bejeweled Burger is displayed, the character Brick can create a distraction by dropping a burger for the guard to eat. While the guard is busy munching away, you can safely snap photos without worry. Getting these photos is crucial before continuing with the actual theft in the library area.
Now before we can even think about doing a heist, we’re going to need to take a picture of the Bejeweled Burger. Because no photographs are allowed in the room it’s being kept in, we’ll need to distract the guard. Directly outside of the room with the Bejeweled Burger, you’ll find Brick just standing around. If you ask him to create a Distraction, he’ll run into the room with the guard and drop a burger on the floor.
Once the guard is distracted and you’ve snapped the necessary photos, the next step is to push the burger into the library where you can grab it. Remember to distract the library guard as well — the trusty Leaky Water Cooler used earlier with the Apartment Key heist works perfectly here. A solid plan looks like this:
- Brick drops the burger, distracting the guard.
- The Conversationalist spills the Leaky Water Cooler to distract the library guard.
- The Conversationalist then grabs the Bejeweled Burger.
This straightforward approach is reliable and a great way to ease into the burger heist challenges.
Method 2 – Make the Guard Eat off the Wall
If you want to shake things up when distracting the guard, try a little vandalism with the Modern Art. There’s a blank canvas in the exhibit room that the guard notices. Toss any food you’ve collected onto that canvas, and watch as the guard dips into cleaning it off with his tongue, distracted just long enough to snap your photos.
Use the same heist routine after this distraction to actually steal the burger:
- Brick knocks over the Bejeweled Burger.
- The Conversationalist spills the Leaky Water Cooler to distract the library guard.
- The Conversationalist grabs the Bejeweled Burger.
Method 3 – Throw the Burger into the Library
Note: This next method has a known bug as acknowledged by the developer, so it may not work perfectly yet.
Here’s a trickier approach that involves throwing the burger instead of pushing it. The banister near the burger has been broken this whole time — something you’ll need to photograph to use it in your plan. With the Conversationalist engaging the hungry guard in conversation, Brick can grab the burger and throw it off the broken banister. Combine this with spilling the Leaky Water Cooler to distract the library guard and grab the burger afterward.
Take a picture of it, as we’ll be using it in our new heist plan.
- Conversationalist talks with the guard.
- Brick grabs the Bejeweled Burger.
- Brick throws the burger off the broken banister.
- Conversationalist spills the Leaky Water Cooler near the library.
- Conversationalist grabs the Bejeweled Burger.
Method 4 – Start a Dog Dance Party
This final method isn’t really about stealing the burger but more about bringing some charm and whimsy to your heist. Nearby the room with corgis, find the Paw Print Vinyl Record on the wall, titled “Dog Serenade.” Once you take a picture of the record, you can set up a dog dance party.
Playing that record on the dance floor creates a fun distraction that will have the game cutting back to the dogs during each step, though it doesn’t distract guards or help with the actual theft.
After taking a picture of the record, create the following heist plan. The Dog Dance Party won’t distract any of the guards while we steal the burger, but it will cause the game to cut back to the dogs during every step of your plan.
- Brick grabs the Paw Print Vinyl Record.
- Brick plays the record on the music player at the dance floor.
- Brick knocks over the Bejeweled Burger.
- Conversationalist spills the Leaky Water Cooler in the library.
- Conversationalist grabs the Bejeweled Burger.
Completing this method means you’ve ticked off all challenges related to the Bejeweled Burger in your notebook, combining flair, strategy, and distraction to nab this prized item.
