How to Unlock Multiplayer in Starsand Island?
Begin by opening your in-game Phone and selecting the Islander Life app. This app tracks your progress and key milestones necessary to access various features, including multiplayer.
Focus on completing the objectives listed until you reach Smooth Sailing. Each completed milestone brings you closer to unlocking multiplayer, encouraging a balanced progression through island life.
The following stages outline the path to multiplayer access, each with its own set of tasks and requirements that build your character and the island community.
1. Returning Resident
Your journey starts with completing the introductory quest titled “Long Time No See!”. This quest eases you into the basics of life on the island and sets the foundation for your progress.
Completing this quest helps familiarize you with key gameplay mechanics and the island’s initial activities.
2. Apprentice Talent
Next, you need to reach the Apprentice rank in any profession. Whether it’s farming, fishing, or crafting, choose your preferred skill path.
Progressing in just one profession is sufficient; the game doesn’t require mastery across multiple trades at this stage.
3. Decorate Your Home
Place at least 6 furniture items inside your home. This encourages players to engage with the home customization features available in the game.
Any furniture items you’ve gathered or crafted count towards this goal. It’s less about the items themselves and more about progressing through this aspect of island life.
4. First Pot of Gold
Here, you need to achieve two goals:
- Accumulate 2,000 Coins
- Meet and get to know 10 Islanders

5. Junior Talent

6. Island Pro
Expand your island homestead by purchasing additional land. Open your Phone, navigate to Buy Land, and secure your first expansion to move forward.
This addition not only enriches your gameplay space but also signals your progressing influence on the island.
7. Smooth Sailing
The defining milestone before you can access multiplayer involves assisting Marston with constructing the Maritime Bureau. This task integrates story progression with unlocking new gameplay features.
You can track this objective in the Island Life progression section under Smooth Sailing. Completing it unlocks the multiplayer capability on the Islander Life app.
Once multiplayer is unlocked, you’re free to invite friends and share cooperative moments farming, fishing, building, and exploring the island’s vibrant environment.
