Banana Eats Quest Objectives and Rewards
The quest is divided into two distinct objectives:
- Retrieve the Hollow Key and successfully escape a standard Banana Eats match.
- Venture into Banana's Basement and gather eight scattered slices of cake while avoiding lurking hazards.
Finishing both phases grants the following rewards:

Step 1: Join a Match in Banana Eats
You can launch Banana Eats directly from the Hollow event hub or by stepping through the secret chamber located on Floor 6. Once inside the experience, queue into a public match.
The Hollow Key is not guaranteed to spawn during every match, meaning you might have to play through a few rounds before it appears. Keep an eye out for an in-game notification announcing that the Hollow Key has dropped onto the map.
Step 2: Secure the Hollow Key and Escape
After the key spawns, track it down while steering clear of the Banana. If the creature catches you, you will be eliminated and forced to start the process over in a new round. Make regular use of vents, lockers, and other designated hiding areas to stay out of sight.
Once you pick up the Hollow Key, you must stay alive until the final minute of the match when the exit gates open. Simply holding the key is not enough; you must exit through the open doors with the key in your possession to register the objective.
Step 3: Access Banana's Basement
With the first part of the quest complete, return to the main Banana Eats lobby. Look around the lobby area for the specialized Hollow door. Step through this doorway to enter Banana's Basement for the second leg of the adventure.
Step 4: Find All Eight Cake Pieces
Banana's Basement requires you to explore its corridors and recover eight pieces of cake. Keep in mind that cake spawns are randomized between attempts, so you will need to inspect every corner, room, and corridor rather than checking fixed locations.
Remain alert while searching. The basement features jump scares and hostile zombies that will attack if you get too close.
