Voidling Bound All Collectibles Guide – Mutagens, Golden Eggs

If you are trying to collect everything in Voidling Bound, there are three different types of collectibles to find: Mutagens, Golden Eggs, and Quackies. Some of them are tied to specific missions, while the Quackies are hidden throughout the game.

In this guide, I’ll go through every mission that contains collectibles and list exactly what you can find there. I’ll also cover the extra Quackies found in the 1-star missions so you can work toward collecting all of them.

You do not need to grab everything in a single run. Collectibles only need to be picked up once, so if you miss something, you can replay the mission and search for the item you skipped.

Voidling Bound All Collectibles Guide – Mutagens, Golden Eggs

There are three types of collectibles in Voidling Bound:

• Mutagens
• Golden Eggs
• Quackies

Mutagens and Golden Eggs found in missions are also listed as star objectives, making them easier to notice while playing.

Once you pick up a collectible, it will not appear again on later runs. If you miss one, however, you can simply replay that mission and look for it.

Mutagens

Mutagens are one of the main resources you use in Voidling Bound, but some Mutagens can also be collected as hidden items during missions.

They come in different colors depending on their type. When you find one during a mission, picking it up adds it to your collection.

Golden Eggs

Golden Eggs are special collectibles that unlock unique mutations.

The creatures obtained from Golden Eggs cannot be obtained through normal evolutions, so these are worth looking for if you want to unlock everything.

There is no RNG involved with Golden Eggs. Each egg is linked to a specific creature, meaning you will always get the same mutation from that particular egg.

Quackies

Quackies are small duck-like plushies hidden throughout the missions.

There are 26 Quackies in total, with one hidden in each mission. Unlike Mutagens and Golden Eggs, Quackies do not count as star objectives.

There is an achievement for collecting them all, and every Quacky you find is also placed somewhere on your spaceship.

Centennial Bloom Collectibles

Planet: Vireo

Centennial Bloom contains:

• 6 Mutagens: 2 Cryogenic, 2 Organic, 2 Pyro
• 1 Golden Egg: Qwebek Kwipeck
• 1 Quacky: Red Quacky

Make sure to check the mission carefully if you are going for all collectibles, as the Quacky is separate from the star objectives.

Secret Stronghold Collectibles

Planet: Vireo

Secret Stronghold contains:

• 4 Mutagens: 2 Cryogenic, 2 Cyber
• 2 Golden Eggs: Telluric Gilick, Experimental Gwigoon
• 1 Quacky: Blue Quacky

This mission has two Golden Eggs, so there is more to collect here compared with Centennial Bloom.

Search and Rescue Collectibles

Planet: Solum

Search and Rescue contains:

• 4 Mutagens: 1 Cryogenic, 2 Pyro, 1 Organic
• 2 Golden Eggs: Andromeda Gilick, Charcoal Kerapin
• 1 Quacky: Bronze Quacky

You will need to find four Mutagens in total, along with both Golden Eggs and the hidden Quacky.

Cleaning The Eyrie Collectibles

Planet: Solum

Cleaning The Eyrie contains:

• 5 Mutagens: 2 Cryogenic, 2 Cyber, 1 Organic
• 2 Golden Eggs: Arching Gwigoon, Lab Rat Anami
• 1 Quacky: Silver Quacky

There are five Mutagens in this mission, making it one of the better missions to check carefully if you are trying to complete your collection.

Subterranean Expedition Collectibles

Planet: Solum

Subterranean Expedition contains:

• 4 Mutagens: 2 Cryogenic, 1 Plasma, 1 Cyber
• 1 Golden Egg: Transcendent Anami
• 1 Quacky: Beige Quacky

The mission has one Golden Egg, four Mutagens, and the Beige Quacky hidden somewhere in the level.

Storm Breaker Collectibles

Planet: Aulis

Storm Breaker contains:

• 3 Mutagens: 1 Plasma, 1 Pyro, 1 Cyber
• 1 Golden Egg: Argon Nimiod
• 1 Quacky: Toxic Quacky

There are three Mutagens to collect here, plus the Argon Nimiod Golden Egg and Toxic Quacky.

Navigate The Maze Collectibles

Planet: Aulis

Navigate The Maze contains:

• 6 Mutagens: 2 Plasma, 2 Cyber, 1 Cryogenic, 1 Organic
• 2 Golden Eggs: Gold Nugget Kwipeck, Hellfire Packuran
• 1 Quacky: Quicky

With six Mutagens and two Golden Eggs, this is another mission where you have quite a few collectibles to keep track of.

Pull The Plug Collectibles

Planet: Aulis

Pull The Plug contains:

• 4 Mutagens: 1 Cryogenic, 1 Organic, 1 Plasma, 1 Pyro
• 2 Golden Eggs: Chthonian Morfang, Heavenly Packuran
• 1 Quacky: Deepwater Quacky

If you are completing the collectibles by planet, make sure you have both Golden Eggs before moving on from this mission.

End To The Unknown Collectibles

Location: The Abyss

End To The Unknown contains:

• 4 Mutagens: 4 Plasma
• 2 Golden Eggs: Locust Packuran, Galvanic Ur-Sek
• 1 Quacky: The Dark Entity

All four Mutagens in this mission are Plasma type. There are also two Golden Eggs and the unique Dark Entity Quacky.

1-Star Missions: Extra Quackies

The 1-star missions do not contain Mutagens or Golden Eggs, so there are no related star objectives to complete.

They do still contain Quackies, though. There are 17 additional Quackies spread across these missions.

You can replay any mission where you missed an item, so there is no need to restart your entire run just because you overlooked a collectible. Work through the missions one at a time, and once you have picked up an item, you can move on knowing it has been added to your collection.
