Upgrading your arsenal in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 hinges on gathering a special resource called Armory Data. Found exclusively during Operations missions, each map hosts one Armory Data spawn which appears in one of six predetermined, randomized locations. Without knowing these spots, you could waste precious time exploring empty zones hoping for a spawn.

Inferno Operation Armory Data Locations

Astra Militarum Camp

Armory Data #1

Upon entering the camp, a green barricade hovers just above the Ammo Cache. Climb up here to investigate.

The Armory Data may spawn beside the left side of this barricade, near a tent visible from above.

Armory Data #2

After unlocking the camp gate, take the path on the left up to the tents’ higher level.

At the path’s end, you’ll notice a cavern entrance – don’t venture inside. Instead, circle left behind a large military tent.

The Armory Data will appear next to a worktable just behind that tent.

Promethium Refinery

Armory Data #3

Enter the refinery and spot two flags marked with “4” to your right. Drop down to the 4th generator area there.

Proceed straight through the refinery, exit it, then glance right.

The Armory Data lies in the right corner beside large metal boxes.

Abandoned Base

Armory Data #4

Before reaching the Observation Platform, you’ll enter a vast room featuring a broken bridge. Two routes lie ahead: a left ramp or underneath the platform. Choose underneath.

Look to the left corner as you approach; the Armory Data could spawn in that area.

Observation Platform

Armory Data #5

Near the mission’s end, you’ll ride an elevator onto a rooftop with steel platforms. Instead of descending to the helipad on the left, enter the room to your right.

Within this room, the Armory Data may spawn on the right-hand side.

Decapitation Operation Armory Data Locations

Imperial City

Armory Data #1

After exiting the cathedral and navigating steel staircases, you’ll arrive on a rooftop with a large tower marked “02”. Instead of moving forward, jump down the ledge to your left.

Head straight through the doorway to the base of the ruined “01” tower.

Look behind a green box adjacent to a pillar. The Armory Data may spawn right there.

Armory Data #2

After trekking over broken rooftops and steel walkways, descend to the mission’s first Assemble point: a Bridge Tower with large red doors.

Avoid the doors; instead, circle left along the ledge. The Armory Data might spawn next to a column there.

Bridge Tower

Armory Data #3

Post setting explosive charges inside, walk through the brightly lit hall to an Assemble point.

Instead of using the elevator, veer to the lower right corner from your entry. The Armory Data can spawn precisely in this corner.

Station

Armory Data #4

After blowing up the charges to destroy the bridge guarded by a Heldrake drone, proceed to an elevator. Immediately upon entering, look right. The Armory Data might be hidden behind a steel control panel.

Station Ducts

Armory Data #5 and #6

While pursuing the Hyve Tyrant, an elevator takes you to air ducts. After clearing the xenos below, a large area with hanging chains appears.

Two opposite rooms flank this area. Both can spawn a separate Armory Data near their right corners.

Both rooms have a Armory Data spawn location. Just enter them and look in the right corner.

Cathedral

Armory Data #1

After dropping down a ledge, proceed down a ruined path near the Cathedral. To your left sits a small red-lit room; to the right, a path that dips downward. Take the right path.

Reach the path’s end, a tiny yellow room—this is a guaranteed spawn for an Armory Data, standout due to its isolation.

At the end of the path you’ll reach a tiny yellow room where the Armory Data can spawn. It’s hard to miss since it’s out of the way and a dead end.

Armory Data #2

Inside the Cathedral’s first heretics fight, head upstairs on the left.

Find the Armory Data directly in front of a statue near the left wall.

Plaza

Armory Data #3

Advancing toward the Cathedral, you’ll reach a flooded area with two raised walkways. Climb the left ruined walkway from the start.

On this platform, spot three large boxes near stairs leading down.

Behind these boxes, the Armory Data can spawn.

Archive

Armory Data #4

The mission labels this area the “Cathedral,” but it’s recorded as the “Archive” in your XP summary. After entering this room and claiming a loadout drop, take an elevator down.

Don’t proceed to the room’s center—this will limit exploration. Go left instead, where the Armory Data can spawn before a blocked staircase.

Daemonhost

Armory Data #5

Arriving at the Daemonhost final battle zone, turn left immediately. If this path is blocked, destroy the nearby Chaos Altars to clear it.

Find a staircase but instead of ascending it, take a double left turn.

The Armory Data might spawn beside a bookshelf in the corner opposite the stairs.

Reliquary Operation Armory Data Locations

Mountain Road

Armory Data #1

At the operation’s start, you’ll reach a ruined crypt with a towering sinister statue. Pass through the archway nestled between crumbling walls.

Take a right on the narrow path, noticing some rubble on your left. The Armory Data spawns behind this rubble.

Circle around by hugging the left wall until you reach the rubble’s backside.

Pro tip: a Gene-Seed can spawn near the small hallway beside the creepy statue, so watch your step.

Armory Data #2

Near Mountain Road’s end, with a Tomb visible ahead, two routes open. The right is straightforward, while the left skirts a towering structure. Take the left path.

Spot an entrance to a crypt on your left. Enter it.

The Armory Data may spawn beside the doorway on the right.

Bridge

Armory Data #3

After exiting the Tomb area and taking an elevator, you reach a Bridge section constantly under fire from a Heldrake. Instead of moving toward the flames, veer hard left.
