Common Room – Puzzle Pieces 1 to 3
In We Were Here Tomorrow, players can track down 12 hidden jigsaw puzzle pieces scattered across the facility to assemble the completed board in the Common Room hub.
The first three pieces require minimal exploration:
- Pieces #1, #2, and #3: Head into the main Common Room and locate the small table holding the unfinished jigsaw puzzle. Look directly underneath this table on the floor to pick up the first three pieces grouped together.
Puzzle Piece 4
Stay within the Common Room to retrieve the fourth piece before moving on to other wings:
- Piece #4: Approach the dining table set with cakes. The puzzle piece sits on the tabletop right beside a notepad and a rack of test tubes.
Research & Development – Puzzle Piece 5
Proceed into the multi-level Research & Development facility, identifiable by the twin keycard terminals that lead forward toward the Prototype sector.
- Piece #5: Do not head up the stairs yet. Instead, check the ground level beneath the overhanging upper walkway. The piece is resting on top of the laboratory counter to the right of the room's main entrance.
Puzzle Piece 6
The next piece is located on the upper tier of the same Research & Development chamber:
- Piece #6: Walk up the staircase to reach the second floor. Immediately to the left of the stairs stands a small storage cabinet. Open or inspect the cabinet to collect the piece inside.
Prototype Room – Puzzle Piece 7
Inside the Prototype Room, look toward the overhead machinery on the left side of the area:
- Piece #7: Ascend to the first raised platform using the elevator or through manual climbing. The piece hangs near the left ceiling fan. The player holding the hook tool can retrieve it directly, though the cube player can also wedge a block into the fan blades to halt them first if needed.
Puzzle Piece 8
Advance past the Prototype challenge to find the next collectible:
- Piece #8: Complete the Prototype puzzle section and enter the adjacent room. Pull the synchronized dual lever alongside your partner and step through the exit door. Directly to the right side of the doorway, check the table to grab the eighth piece.
Hub Return Route – Puzzle Piece 9
As you begin backtracking toward the Common Room, keep an eye out along the stairwells:
- Piece #9: From the table where you picked up piece #8, turn through the left door and head up the flight of stairs. At the landing, search the stack of storage crates. The ninth piece sits on top of a box directly beside a yellow hard hat.
Funicular Ante-Chamber – Puzzle Piece 10
Crucial Warning: Do not pull the dual-handled lever situated in the center of this room. Doing so seals the doorway back to the Common Room hub, locking you out of the jigsaw puzzle table.
To obtain this room's piece, make your way up to the elevated catwalks overlooking the chamber.
Control Room Terminal
Once you reach the upper walkway of the funicular ante-chamber, locate the locked Control Room entrance:
- Piece #10: Turn left to face the locked Control Room door. Puzzle piece #10 rests on the top surface of the computerized control console positioned right outside the threshold.
Common Room Balcony – Puzzle Piece 11
From the second-floor walkway where piece #10 was collected, continue through the doorway that opens onto the balcony overlooking the Common Room below.
- Piece #11: Move to the right side of the balcony. Locate the computer setup and inspect the small cabinet immediately to its left. The eleventh piece is stored inside this cabinet.
Puzzle Piece 12
The final collectible is retrieved from the very same balcony:
- Piece #12: Stand on the balcony railing edge and face outward into the Common Room. Tilt your camera upward toward the ceiling light fixtures. The final jigsaw piece is perched directly atop the overhead lighting structure.
Jigsaw Completion Reward
Returning all 12 puzzle pieces to the Common Room table and assembling the full picture does not unlock an official platform achievement. However, completing the image reveals a hidden Easter egg designed as a nod to dedicated fans of the We Were Here franchise.
