- Best Farming Tips (From Experience)
- Some pets are super easy
- Others feel like the game is trolling you
Let’s go step by step, like you’re filling your Codex properly — not randomly running around.
Before You Start – How Capturing Actually Works
Quick basics that will save you a lot of frustration:
- Lower enemy HP before capturing
- Use better potions = higher catch rate
- Approx rates:
- High Purity Potion: ~60–70% (common pets)
- Concentrated Potion: ~80–90% (common pets)
- Rare pets drop to 5–25%
Also:
- Duplicate pets = ~1000 gold, so farming extras isn’t useless
- Some pets are bugged or not available yet
Boss Drop Pets (Low Priority – Not Worth Farming Early)
Big Moss Boss Pet
Giant Bird Pet
- Estimated drop rate: ~2%
- Costs boss keys
- Very inefficient early game
Honest advice: Skip these for now. Come back later when you have spare resources.
Early Area Pets (Easy Codex Progress)
These are your bread-and-butter pets — quick to get and high success rates.
Sleeping Nocturnal Bat
- Found near lift areas
- Catch rate:
- ~70% (Concentrated)
Lazy Spot
- Southwest of waypoint
- Catch rate:
- ~85–88%
Noisy Young Screamer
- Northeast of warp point
- Catch rate:
- ~88%
Sluggish Rush Frog
- Must be on land
- Cannot capture in water (important)
Crescent Moon Island Pets (Crabs)
Stubborn Stone Crab
- Attack small crabs → big one appears
- Catch rate:
- ~60–66%
Diligent Stone Crab
- Found on nearby beaches
- Similar rates to above
Mid-Game Creatures (Slightly Tankier)
Impatient Walking Flower
- Currently bugged / not capturable
Quiet Wood Watcher
- Slightly stronger enemy
- Catch rate:
- ~65%
Lazy Sprout
- Easy but fragile (don’t kill it by mistake)
- Catch rate:
- ~64%
Scaredy Hog
- Near Hunter’s Hut (southwest)
- Catch rate:
- ~60–63%
Kindled Spirit
- Near ruins
- Catch rate:
- ~27% (High Purity)
- ~50% (Concentrated)
Desert & Special Region Pets
Playful Sand Crawler
- Found in desert areas
- Catch rate:
- ~25% → ~45% with better potion
Cheerful Flame Spirit
- Found in groups
- Catch rate:
- ~25% (low without good potions)
Prickly Cactus
- Not capturable
- Likely from quest or story reward
Rare / Problematic Pets (Prepare Yourself)
Golem
- Northern Wasteland
- Catch rate:
- 0% (High Purity ❌)
- ~12% (Concentrated)
This is where RNG starts hitting hard.
Guardian Dragon Bion (Very Important)
- Requires main story completion
- Spawns on bridge
- Time: around midnight (not 6 AM like people say)
Catch rate:
- ~5%
Tip:
- Bring 20–30 concentrated potions minimum
- This is pure RNG grind
Water Spirit (Worst Pet to Catch)
Location:
- Pirate ship
Conditions:
- Rainy weather
- Between ~8–12 time
Problems:
- No visible HP bar
- Hard to track real target
- Very low success rate
Honestly: This one is frustrating. Expect multiple attempts.
Shop & Codex Pets
Fluffy Cottoner
- Unlock via Codex points (~150)
Mischievous Ballcat
- Loyalty Shop
- Cost: ~4000 currency
Cheerful Baby Snow Leopard
- Also in Loyalty Shop
Missing / Not Available Pets
These are either:
- Bugged
- Not added yet
Examples:
- Stinging Wild Hornet
- Some moth variants
If you can’t find them, it’s not you — they’re likely not in-game yet.
Best Farming Tips (From Experience)
1. Don’t Waste Good Potions Early
Save:
- Concentrated potions → rare pets
- Use weaker ones on common pets
2. Lower World Level If Needed
Makes:
- Damage control easier
- Prevents accidental kills
3. Farm Duplicates for Gold
Already have a pet?
- Catch again → ~1000 gold
Good side income if you have extra potions.
