The Prison map feels a bit chaotic at first, but once you break it down step by step, it’s actually very structured. The puzzle flow here is all about unlocking paths one after another, and then using logic to figure out who set everything up.

Here’s the complete walkthrough with every code, item, and clue explained clearly.

Start Upstairs – Hidden Tool in Cake

Head upstairs first and interact with the cake, because there’s a grinding tool hidden inside it, which is your first key item.

Break Open the Door → Arrow Puzzle

Use the grinding tool to open the blocked door, then check the poster, since it shows arrow directions:

Down → Right → Down → Right → Right → Down

Convert Arrows to Code (181881)

Now use your magnifying glass on the wall to understand values:

  • Down = 1
  • Right = 8

Convert the sequence:

1 8 1 8 8 1 → Code: 181881

Enter this into the A3 keypad to unlock the cell.

Plunger → Keycard

Go back upstairs (left side) and grab the plunger, then return to the opened cell and use it to retrieve a keycard.

Cafeteria Access

Use the keycard to enter the cafeteria, where you need to collect:

4 Acidic Tomatoes

Create Acid (Blender Puzzle)

Go upstairs (right side) and put all four tomatoes into the blender, then activate it to create:

Acidic Juice

Melt the Rusted Bars

Use the acid on the rusted metal, which clears the path forward but reveals wires blocking access.

Scissors → Cut Wires

Go back to the cafeteria and collect scissors, then return and cut all four wires:

  • Green
  • Blue
  • Yellow
  • Red

This opens the next area.

A3 Cell Key

Inside, pick up the A3 key, which is used to unlock the next restricted cell.

Pattern Puzzle (Keypad Grid)

In the new cell, you’ll see a pattern layout, which you need to replicate on the keypad by marking the correct positions (usually highlighted as green).

Tip: It’s easier if you remember or screenshot the pattern before entering it.

Computer Password (Dynamic)

Click “Forgot Password”, then go to the inbox room and open the email.

You’ll get a password like:

Example: SHGAIS

This password is different for every player, so always check your own inbox.

Enter the password to unlock the final door.

Investigation – Understanding the Escape

Now comes the important part: figuring out who helped prisoners escape.

Key Clue:

  • 20 inmates disappeared
  • No alarms triggered
  • No guards attacked

This clearly means:

It was an inside job

Fake Clue – Granny Setup

You’ll find a note saying:

“Granny brought a suspicious cake”

But this is actually a setup, because:

  • The grinding tool was hidden inside the cake
  • Someone planted it there to frame Granny

Narrowing Down Suspects

Now eliminate suspects logically:

  • Granny → outsider → not possible
  • Janitor / Cook → wouldn’t be at reception
  • Leaves:
    • Tech Guard
    • Receptionist

Final Deduction

  • The Tech Guard would be in the tech/security room
  • The person near the cake and entry area would be the Receptionist

So the only one who fits:

The person who planted the tool and framed Granny

Correct Suspect

Receptionist

Ending the Case

Select the receptionist as the suspect and confirm your choice to complete the investigation.

This map tries to trick you into blaming the wrong person, but once you focus on who had access and opportunity, the answer becomes obvious. It’s less about puzzles and more about thinking like a detective.
