All Mini Medals Locations

The medals listed here are organized roughly in the order you’ll encounter them based on the game’s progression. Checking your Medal Album in the Info menu lets you track which ones you’ve found and which remain elusive. If some medals appear simply as “???” in that window, it means you haven’t yet explored the area they’re located in—once you do, a helpful hint will show up to guide your search.

Whenever a clue or name appears next to a medal number, use that hint to narrow your search in this guide. Exploration combined with these pointers will help you find every hidden Mini Medal.

Mini Medal #1 – (Present) Estard Castle

Head to Estard Castle’s King’s chamber on Level 2. To get there, take the northeastern stairs down from Level 3. Inside, open the drawer in the King’s chamber to claim the medal.

Mini Medal #2 – (Past) The Tower

Inside The Tower in the Ballymolloy region, explore Level 6. Instead of heading up to the boss, drop down near the staircase area, and you’ll find a chest with a Mini Medal waiting to be opened.

Mini Medal #3 – (Present) Ballymolloy

Once you enter present-day Ballymolloy, go behind the church building—which has been repaired—and smash the pot there to reveal the medal.

Mini Medal #4 – (Present) Estard Castle

After exploring the lower castle levels and meeting the person guarding a tablet, take the raft to the western side of the courtyard. Head south to locate some barrels by the castle entrance; breaking them grants you the medal.

Mini Medal #5 – (Past) Burnmont

At Burnmont’s crater, descend from Level 5 to Level 3 past the angel statue. Check the southern corner for a chest; unlocking it yields the Mini Medal.

Mini Medal #6 – (Present) Emberdale

Drop by the Emberdale Inn and sneak into the back room closet, where a hidden medal awaits.

Mini Medal #7 – (Present) Burnmont

Return to Burnmont and dive all the way down to Level 1 inside the crater. From the summit, you can jump directly to the chest on the west side containing this medal. Other chests remain locked for now.

Mini Medal #8 – (Past) Regenstein

This optional island unlocks after obtaining the Grey Fragment in present-day Burnmont. Once the story sequence at Felix’s Secret Base is done, find a chest on the left side containing the medal.

Mini Medal #9 – (Present) Unnamed Island

Sail south from Pilchard Bay to reach a tiny unnamed island. Here, a glittering spot where Regenstein once stood hides the medal, easy to spot if you’re observant.

Mini Medal #10 – (Past) L’Arca

Right after entering L’Arca, check the first house on the right and open the wardrobe inside to scoop up this medal.

Mini Medal #11 – (Past) Grotta del Sigillo

While navigating this dungeon, find an outdoor exit on Level 4 but ignore it for now. Instead, take the northern stairs to Level 5, where a chest hides the medal.

Mini Medal #12 – (Present) Dock

Visit the new Dock north of L’Arca village. Approach the wharf and smash the barrel sitting on the left to reveal the medal inside.

Mini Medal #13 – (Present) Grotta del Sigillo

Return to the top of Grotta del Sigillo and reach the outer area on the uppermost Level 5. Instead of going to the boss cave, keep climbing up a little further to find a chest containing the medal.

Mini Medal #14 – (Present) Institute of Automatry

Upon reaching the Present Frobisher Region during the main quest, head to the institute’s storeroom. Smash the pots in the back-left column to find the hidden medal.

Mini Medal #15 – (Present) Frobisher

In the village garrison, enter through the northeast side and break the barrel on the right to uncover the medal.

Mini Medal #16 – (Present) Automaton Stronghold

Inside the Automaton Stronghold, smash the upper left urn for the medal. The second urn nearby might trigger a tougher encounter, so proceed cautiously.

Mini Medal #17 – (Present) Pool of Piety

Cross the eastern bridge of the region to find the Pool of Piety. Near a tree on the north side, the medal sparkles on the ground waiting to be picked up.

Mini Medal #18 – (Past) Roamer Encampment

Explore the southeast corner of the camp, where an old lady stands on a blue carpet offering Spirit of the Dance. Break the urn next to her to find the medal.

Mini Medal #19 – (Past) Poolside Cave

On Underground Level 1, drop through one of the holes to reach Level 2. You’ll land next to a glowing spot on the ground—dig there to claim the medal.

Mini Medal #20 – (Present) Dig Site

Sail to the Dig Site north of the former Roamer Encampment. Pay to enter the tent, then exit left and descend the well. Inside the closet on the left, you’ll find the medal waiting.

Mini Medal #21 – (Present) Roamer Encampment Region

Look for a small island near the Cape Overlooking the Ocean. Zooming to the cape causes your ship to spawn close, making it easy to reach and find the medal there.

Mini Medal #22 – (Past) Pilgrim’s Rest

Upon arrival in the eastern village of the Alltrades Abbey Region, go behind the northwest building and smash the barrel resting on the corner. The medal is inside.

Mini Medal #23 – (Past) Pilgrim’s Perdition

Climb to the roof of the southernmost house and break the urn up top to reveal your prize.

Mini Medal #24 – (Past) Western Cave

On Level 2 of the Western Cave, check the chest next to the stairs you used to ascend. Opening it grants you the Mini Medal.

Mini Medal #25 – (Past) Precipice Pass

Just outside the Western Cave, head west immediately. The medal sparkles on the ground beside the graves—you can’t miss it.

Mini Medal #26 – (Past) Dungeon of Descent

On Underground Level 2, navigate to the center room where monsters sit at a table just west of the chest room. The medal hides inside a pot there.

Mini Medal #27 – (Past) Tunnel to the Abbey

Inside a distinct room on Underground Level 2 distinguished by unique flooring, break the urn in the upper-right corner to reveal the medal.

Mini Medal #28 – (Past) Alltrades Abbey

After completing the main story here, explore Basement Level 1 where all doors unlock. Exit through the west door, cross the lightning floor with care, and open the chest at the end to find your medal.

Thief’s Key Medals (#29-31)

These medals are inside chests locked earlier in the game. Now that you have the Thief’s Key, it’s time to revisit these locations.

Mini Medal #29 – (Past) Pilgrim’s Perdition

Return to this village and enter the northern house to retrieve the Thief’s Key from a chest. Then use that key to open the locked chest southwest of the church and claim the medal inside.

Mini Medal #30 – (Present) Pilchard Bay

Head back to Pilchard Bay’s item shop building and open the previously locked chest in the back to uncover the medal.

Mini Medal #31 – (Present) Pilgrim’s Rest

Visit the inn in Pilgrim’s Rest, then use the Thief’s Key to unlock the chest hidden behind the large royal bed in the northwest corner room.

Mini Medal #32 – (Present) Ruins Near Alltrades Abbey

Explore the ruins near the abbey where Pilgrim’s Perdition once stood. The medal sparkles on the ground beside a tree on the western side of the ruins.
