Gawr Gura: Quest for Bread offers players a delightful challenge through its unique hats and tough bosses. Unlocking all achievements isn’t just about progression; it’s about exploring every corner and mastering combat finesse to claim every crown and trophy.

In this guide, I have shared the locations of all hats, the no-damage boss achievements, and the Brain is Jelly secret achievement. Follow the locations below, and you can go for 100% completion without having to search every area again.

You encounter the Chief Fish early on during the combat tutorial. Instead of following the full tutorial, attacking Chief Fish a few times allows you to skip ahead and jumpstart your adventure.

At the start of the game, you will meet Chief Fish during the combat tutorial.

Make sure you don’t follow the full combat instructions. Just attack Chief Fish a few times to skip the tutorial.

Let’s Stay Home

Inside Gura’s Home, seek out the lost bread to unlock the Let’s Stay Home achievement. Move the couch by approaching its left side and pushing it aside to reveal the hidden bread underneath.

Go near the left side of the couch and push it to the right side. There you’ll find a bread hidden underneath the couch.

Pick up the found bread by pressing E, and the achievement will unlock immediately.

Ride On Time

The Ride On Time achievement unlocks naturally as you progress through the main storyline, so keep advancing through levels without detouring.

Shark Of Many Hats

The game features numerous hats hidden in varied and clever locations, some tucked away on high ledges or guarded behind flawless boss fights. Collecting them adds a stylish flair to your journey and is key to many achievements.

Here is the complete hat list and where you can find each one.

The Apple Hat awaits in Gura’s bedroom and is one of the first accessible hats, ready for collection as you start the game.

Location: Gura’s bedroom

The Apple Hat is in Gura’s bedroom. You can collect it right at the start of the game.

Propeller Hat

Find the Propeller Hat on a lofty ledge near the start of Fish Town. Use the surrounding mushrooms to hop up and secure the hat.

The Propeller Hat is located on a high ledge near the beginning of Fish Town.

Use the nearby mushrooms to jump high enough to reach the ledge and grab the hat.

Ice Cream Hat

In the Ice Caves, the Ice Cream Hat rests atop a high cylinder. Navigate the breakable platforms below, then use a nearby mushroom to reach this elevated spot.

The Ice Cream Hat can be found on a tall cylinder platform around the middle of the Ice Caves.

Jump on the breakable platforms underneath the cave, and then jump onto the mushroom to reach the top platform. Once you see the Ice Cream Hat, go and grab it.

Fish Hat

Recall Chief Fish? Defeat him without taking damage in the Ice Caves to earn the Fish Hat as a reward for flawless combat.

Remember our Chief Fish from the Tutorial session? You have to defeat him without taking any damage in the Ice Caves.

Once you do that, the Fish Hat will be rewarded for defeating Chief Fish without taking damage.

Block Hat

After that battle, you’ll enter an area filled with falling pillars. Jump onto the third pillar and stay aboard as it descends.

After defeating Chief Fish in the Ice Caves, go to the next area.

Soon, you’ll see many falling pillars. Check the image below for a better look. Now go and jump onto the third pillar. Stay on it until it starts falling.

While descending, jump to nearby mushrooms to reach the Block Hat sitting on an adjacent platform.

Cat Ears

In Calli’s Fortress, look for the room where lava rhythmically rises and falls. Defeat the skeleton encountered when lava subsides to claim the Cat Ears.

Here, you can see a room where the lava is going up and down.

You can also find a skeleton in this area. When the lava goes down, jump down and defeat the skeleton.

It will drop the Cat Ears.

Top Hat

The Top Hat is obtained by defeating Lost Shrimp without taking any damage. Precision and patience are required, as one hit means a retry.

To get the Top Hat, you have to defeat Lost Shrimp without taking any damage.

If you get hit during the fight, you’ll need to retry the fight. When you successfully kill the Lost Shrimp, it will drop the Top Hat.

Pizza Hat

Nearby, find green bounce pads in Calli’s Fortress. Use them to cross the room, then drop to a lower level near the area’s end. There, enter a break room before passing through a circular door that locks behind you to pick up the Pizza Hat.

After getting the Top Hat, you can find a green bouncing pad in that area.

Use the bounce pads to go across the room. Near the final section, don’t go along the upper route. Instead, fall down and dive toward the lower level.

Important: Enter the break room before going through the circle-shaped door at the top.

Once you pass through that door, it locks behind you, so you won’t be able to return to the break room.

Crown Hat

Defeat Calli, the fortress boss, without taking damage, and you’ll earn the majestic Crown Hat. Another high-stakes no-hit challenge that tests your combat skills.

Defeat Calli without taking any damage to get the Crown Hat.

This is another no-hit boss challenge, so retry the fight if you take damage.

Shark Hat

The Shark Hat sits perched on rocks in the ocean. From a higher vantage point near the chicken box, jump down to the rocks to grab it.

The Shark Hat is lying on the rocks in the ocean. You will have to search for it in the ocean.

First, go to a higher platform where you can see the chicken box. From there, jump down toward the rocks and grab the shark hat.

Cowboy Hat

At the waterfall on the island, where you spot a chicken skateboarding, find the Cowboy Hat at the bottom. Make the jump and claim your prize.

For this hat, you have to go to the waterfall area where you can see a chicken skateboarding.

The Cowboy Hat is at the bottom of the waterfall. So go, jump down, and collect it.

Drill Hat

Another no-damage boss achievement involves Drillby. Finish the fight without getting hit to earn the Drill Hat.

Defeat Drillby without taking any damage to unlock the Drill Hat.

Make sure you finish the entire fight without getting hit.

Dino Hat

Inside Watson Industries, find a small room marked by a spiral pattern of red and blue squares. Climb to its summit to grab the Dino Hat.

Look for the small room containing the spiral pattern made from red and blue changing squares.

Make your way to the top of this room. The Dino Hat is lying there.

Smolest Ame

In the Watson Industries Lab, after besting the miniboss with laser eyes, proceed cautiously down a dark hallway. Avoid falling through the hole and reach the end to find the Smolest Ame.

When you defeat the miniboss with the laser-beam eyes, you’ll enter a dark hallway.

Go toward the end of the hallway, but be careful around the hole near the end.

Don’t fall. Continue to the end to find the Smolest Ame.

Ame’s Hat

The ultimate achievement is grabbing Ame’s Hat by defeating Ame (Doctor Watson) in his final form without taking damage. It is one of the game’s toughest challenges.

You need to defeat the final form of Ame (Doctor Watson) without taking damage.

Once you defeat him, you can grab Ame’s Hat.

How to Defeat Ame Easily Without Taking Any Damage?

Split the Ame fight into four phases to make the no-damage run less daunting: Robot Form, Saucer Blade/UFO phase, Human Watson throwing syringes, and the final post-injection phase.

This fight has four main phases:

1. Robot Form
2. Saucer Blade/UFO Beyblade
3. Human Watson/Syringe Throwing phase
4. Final phase after injecting the syringes

If you take damage during a phase, pause and use Retry Boss to restart that phase and focus your practice effectively instead of repeating the entire fight from the beginning.

The final phase of Doctor Watson is where you need to maintain the no-damage run to secure Ame’s Hat.

End Of Game

Bread Hat

The Bread Hat unlocks simply by completing the game, making it the easiest hat to earn as a mark of your achievement.

You have to just complete the game. After finishing it, you’ll receive the Bread Hat.

Brain is Jelly Achievement

An unusual challenge is the Brain is Jelly achievement, awarded for rolling into walls 30 times. Find an open space and roll along walls repeatedly to unlock this quirky trophy.

To unlock it, roll into walls 30 times.

You can do this anywhere where you can find enough room to repeatedly roll into a wall. Keep doing it until the achievement unlocks.
