House 2 challenges players with a tense time loop where every second counts to secure a perfect ending. The Pure Ending, in particular, is coveted because it means all family members and creatures survive the harrowing night, a feat that tests your mastery of timing and strategy in the game’s eerie environment.

Don’t worry, this ending is all about timing. You need to save every family member and creature at the right time and keep yourself alive until the end.

In this guide, I’ll show you how to save everyone in House 2 and get the Saviour, Pure, and Guardian achievements.

Timing is the backbone of success here. Recognizing where each character moves and predicting when hazards occur allows you to intervene before tragedy strikes. This understanding is crucial because, without impeccable timing, even a small delay can doom a family member, pushing you away from the coveted Pure Ending.

The time loop kicks off at 6:00 PM, with Tabby waking up in her bedroom. From this moment, swift, deliberate actions are essential—hesitation isn’t an option if you want to save everyone.

Timing is very crucial for this ending. Don’t waste a second.

The time loop starts at 6:00 PM, and Tabby wakes up in her bedroom.

Here are the steps that you can follow to save everyone.

Save the snail.

If you’ve befriended Marnie the Snail in the backyard, your first priority upon waking is the small aquarium in Tabby’s room. Interact with the snail here to ensure her safety; she will then sit on Tabby’s head as a sign you’ve saved her.

Talk to the snail to save her, and she will sit on Tabby’s head.

Save the Cat, Dog, and Rat

Next, head to the bathroom to collect the sponge, then proceed to Melody’s room to pick up the baseball. These items set the stage for saving key pets and family members.

Descend to the kitchen and grab the pie from the refrigerator, placing it in the oven right away. With the pie baking, use the sponge to wash the dishes, preparing for a later step.

Make your way to the basement where the dog is confined, near the telephone area. Throw the baseball onto the anvil located there to trigger critical events that will help save others.

Nearby, the bear trap awaits the cat’s downfall. Throw the baseball onto the bear trap to activate it so the cat can be saved from certain death, breaking the usual deadly pattern.

Return to the anvil and pick it up. Notice the dog’s aggressive hunger, but don’t engage—leave the basement swiftly to avoid attacks, as the dog will be cared for soon.

You may also notice that the dog is hungry and reaching for you to eat you. But ignore him and leave the basement quickly before he attacks you. We will save the dog soon.

Carry the anvil back upstairs to the kitchen and drop it. This causes a knife to fall to the floor, a critical trigger that usually results in the rat’s demise during the thunderstorm. You’ll prevent that next.

The rat always dies because a thunderstorm comes and the knife falls while the rat is eating cheese underneath it. So, when the knife falls, the rat gets killed.

Pick up the knife promptly and remove the pie from the oven once it’s ready. Important: keep the anvil exactly where you dropped it, as carrying it will hinder your movement.

Make sure you leave the anvil in the kitchen where you dropped it. If you explore the house while holding it, it can slow you down because it is very heavy.

Return to the basement and feed the now calm dog with the pie. Afterwards, quickly exit and use the telephone, dialing 888-8888 to order pizza—this setup is vital for the horse’s rescue later.

When you exit, use the telephone and call 888-8888 to order pizza.

Save Melody

Head upstairs and clean the cat’s urine with the sponge in order to prevent Melody from slipping and dying, a common hazard that breaks many runs.

Now go downstairs and check if the pizza has arrived or not.

If the pizza hasn’t arrived yet, return to the kitchen to fetch the anvil and bring it upstairs, dropping it near the clown’s wardrobe room. This ensures smooth progression without delay.

Go downstairs, and your pizza should have arrived by this time.

Once the pizza has arrived, take it and find the spider in the left closet room near the stairs. Throw the baseball at the spider carefully to dislodge it—avoid squishing it yourself to prevent unintended consequences.

Throw the ball at the spider and make it fall. Don’t squish it with your legs.

Now go upstairs and enter the bathroom. Flush the toilet monster.

Next, head to the bathroom upstairs and flush the toilet monster down the drain. This eliminates an immediate threat to Melody and keeps the path clear for saving her.

Beware of your Surroundings

As the clock hits around 9:00 PM, the thunderstorm begins, unleashing shadow monsters and other deadly hazards. Your awareness and agility must peak now to dodge these new threats.

Shadow monsters, the coat rack, and other things start spawning, and they can kill you. So from now on, be careful and save the remaining ones as soon as possible.

Shadow entities can appear suddenly, so avoid any contact. If pursued, seek refuge in other rooms and keep moving. Remaining static during this phase is a guaranteed death sentence.

If you get killed, all your work will go in vain, and you’ll have to start again.

Save Lois and the Horse

With the anvil in hand, enter the clown’s room and drop the anvil. Switch to the knife to stab the clown and flatten it, revealing a ladder up to the attic.

Stab the clown and make it flatten. You’ll see the ladder that leads to the attic.

Carry the anvil upstairs through the wardrobe and make your way to the attic’s top-left corner. Here, repeatedly drop the anvil onto a fragile wooden section to break through and access the area near Lois’s room.

Go to the top-left side of the attic, where you can see a weak wooden part that is easy to break. Drop the anvil three to four times on the weak part, and you’ll reach down near Lois’s room.

Be cautious around the horse. Though it’s impaired, it remains hostile and will attack if you linger too long. Use the time you have wisely to complete your objectives.

Within Lois’s room, throw the baseball at the chandelier so it falls onto her bed, effectively saving her from harm.

Now open the right door from which you came in from the attic and use the ladders to reach the attic.

Retrace your steps back to the attic, then place the pizza in the horse’s bowl. This pacifies the hungry animal, preventing another potential death.

This delayed feeding tactic is crucial. Carrying the heavy anvil and attempting to feed the horse earlier often results in a fatal attack. Waiting until you’re near the horse’s bowl avoids unnecessary risk.

That’s why I decided to ignore him for now.

When we come from Lois’s room to the attic, we spawn near the horse’s bowl, so we can feed him instantly without getting killed.

Now Save Yourself

With every family member and creature secured, focus now on your survival. Staying alive until Daddy’s return is the final hurdle to completing the Pure Ending.

Save yourself.

You have to keep yourself alive until Daddy comes home.

Shadow monsters will relentlessly hunt you, so keep moving. Avoid lingering in any one room, as this leads to instant death.

Don’t stay inside a single room thinking that no one is watching you. You will be killed instantly.

Circulate between characters and rooms—talk to the horse in the attic, Lois in her bedroom, and visit the basement regularly. Constant movement keeps you elusive and alive.

Just don’t stay in any single place. Try to switch places constantly.

Eventually, you’ll witness Daddy’s arrival and hear him say, “You did it, Tabby.” The cutscene will confirm your success as you see the entire family safe and gathered.

The cutscene will start, and you’ll see everyone watching TV in the living room. Tabby, Melody, Lois, Daddy, Majesty (horse), dog, cat, snail, and also the rat.

If any character or creature is missing in the final scene, such as the rat or snail, it means they were lost during the night. True mastery means seeing everyone gathered watching TV together.

Achieving this perfect ending grants several coveted achievements including Saviour, Pure, and Guardian, rewarding your skill and precision throughout the game.
