Raw combat attributes tell only part of the story when assembling an endgame team in Palworld. In practice, building around complementary Partner Skills routinely outperforms stacking uncoordinated high-stat fighters. A well-placed team damage amplifier or status enabler shifts encounters far faster than simply adding an extra damage dealer.

When optimizing party compositions, the wording on passive abilities frequently leads to misunderstandings. Several abilities list a Does not stack disclaimer, yet that restriction applies strictly to identical duplicates rather than the effect itself.

For instance, both Cremis and Ribbuny offer party-wide Attack boosts to Neutral allies. Because they are distinct species, running both on the same roster yields combined benefits despite individual restriction tags. The same principle applies across elemental variants like Vanwyrm and Vanwyrm Cryst.

Understanding this mechanic unlocks immense synergy potential when tailoring loadouts toward specific status loops or mono-element parties, as demonstrated in our comprehensive palworld partner skills guide.

Palworld All Partner Skills List

Neutral Partner Skills

While Neutral Pals lack elemental debuffs like Burn or Freeze, they offer some of the most reliable stat multipliers in the entire game. Most of their abilities improve whole-party baseline performance instead of leaning on situational battle triggers.

Ribbuny

Ribbuny boosts the Attack of all party Neutral Pals by 15% to 30%. A second Ribbuny will not provide an additional benefit, but it stacks cleanly with different species granting similar perks.

Back at base, having Ribbuny around raises every worker’s Handiwork Work Suitability by 1 level, noticeably speeding up mass crafting.

Cremis

Cremis mirrors Ribbuny by granting a passive 15% to 30% Neutral Attack bonus to the entire team.

Pairing Cremis alongside Ribbuny is one of the most efficient foundations for pure Neutral damage comps because their separate passive tags stack together.

Placing Cremis in a Ranch also generates steady supplies of Wool for production lines.

Sibelyx Primo

Sibelyx Primo trades pure offensive power for sturdy defensive reinforcement across the squad.

It increases party Neutral Pal Defense by 15% to 30% while consistently spinning High Quality Cloth when assigned to a Ranch.

Starryon Primo

Starryon Primo serves as an exceptional ground transport option for exploration enthusiasts.

Riding it elevates jump clearance, while its sprint pace increases by 5% to 25% for each additional Neutral Pal on your team, excluding duplicate Starryon Primos.

Celesdir

Celesdir acts as an adaptable, sustain-focused mount for general exploration.

Every fellow Neutral teammate raises its Attack and Movement Speed by 2% to 6%, and it naturally regenerates 0.15% to 0.75% Health per second across your whole party.

Although running two Celesdirs will not multiply the healing aura, having even one provides valuable long-term survivability during exploration runs.

Selyne

Selyne functions as an aerial mount capable of supporting dual-element rosters.

Taking flight grants an active 15% to 30% damage buff to both Neutral and Dark offensive skills, making hybrid teams hit considerably harder.

Fire Partner Skills

Fire loadouts scale aggressively when leveraging status mechanics rather than flat stats alone. Multiple Fire skills interact directly with ignited targets, causing cumulative damage output to climb exponentially during extended encounters.

Kelpsea Ignis

Carrying Kelpsea Ignis amplifies all Fire Pal Attack by 15% to 30% across your squad.

Assigning it to an active Ranch passively produces Flame Organs, keeping ammo and crafting stock high.

Renjishi acts as the essential igniter for status-based burst loops.

Every executed strike applies Burn (2 to 6), providing the foundational status needed to trigger follow-up effects.

Majex turns burning adversaries into localized area-of-effect hazards.

Striking an ignited foe generates persistent flame circles dealing 15% to 30% of personal Attack to surrounding targets. Though non-stackable, it melts compact mobs rapidly.

Jormuntide Ignis anchors pure Fire compositions with tremendous multipliers.

Beyond complete lava immunity, it grants an enormous 50% to 65% damage increase against Burning targets, tearing down high-health boss encounters rapidly.

Damaging a burning enemy triggers an explosion delivering 40% to 60% of personal Attack power to nearby units, quickly clearing tight groups.

Its speed improves by 5% to 25% for every other Fire or Water companion present in the active party.

Eidrolon Ignis bridges the gap between draconic and volcanic lineups.

Its Attack and Movement Speed both scale by 2% to 6% per allied Dragon or Fire creature kept in reserve.

Fire Team Synergy

Status-reliant Fire comps represent some of the most intuitive synergy loops in the game.

A standard setup involves applying Burn via Renjishi, capitalizing on target vulnerability with Jormuntide Ignis, and triggering AoE pressure using Majex and Flaracle. When emphasizing firearm DPS, swapping in Wixen supplies an immediate 30% to 50% personal damage boost.

Water Partner Skills

Water squads revolve around applying the Soak status. While Soak inflicts negligible damage on its own, it acts as a massive damage amplifier for specialized aquatic abilities, particularly against large bosses.

Kelpsea

Keeping Kelpsea in your active lineup increases Water Pal Attack by 15% to 30% across the board.

At the base, assigning it to a Ranch produces valuable Pal Fluids without requiring wild farming runs.

It inflicts 50% to 65% bonus damage directly against Soaked enemies, dramatically cutting down the duration of difficult fights.

Its Movement Speed gains 5% to 25% for every other Dark or Water companion present on the roster.

Each auxiliary Fire or Water Pal increases its travel pace by 5% to 25%, suiting flexible hybrid lineups.

It gains a cumulative 5% to 25% flight speed increase for every additional Water ally stored on your team.

It features a double jump, and its sprint velocity scales upward by 5% to 25% for every other Electric creature in the party.

Electric Team Synergy

Use Snock to initiate Electrify, followed by Slowatt to propagate massive chain lightning. Activating Prixter Lux maximizes your personal firearm damage, while Univolt accelerates boss fights by punishing exposed weak points.

Souffline elevates capture rates specifically against enemies afflicted by Ivy-Covered.

This makes it an essential utility pick when hunting rare wild variants rather than clearing bosses.

Silvance

Silvance delivers massive utility and offensive burst to round out the team.

Striking an Ivy-Covered target triggers an explosion dealing 40% to 60% of personal Attack, while passively protecting the team from the World Tree’s Explosive Spores.

Grass Team Synergy

Composing an Ivy-Covered team creates an effortless combat cycle.

Initiate fights with Needoll Noct to entangle targets, exploit the damage multiplier using Needoll, and let Silvance clear crowds with secondary detonations. For taming excursions, swapping in Souffline optimizes capture consistency.

Ice Partner Skills

While Ice compositions offer fewer internal chain mechanics, they pair seamlessly with Water status effects. Drenching opponents beforehand makes applying the debilitating Freeze status remarkably reliable.

Attacking any target already afflicted with Soak triggers an immediate Freeze, locking down dangerous enemies on command.

Frostallion

Frostallion remains an unrivaled legendary mount for Ice-focused combat.

While mounted, player attacks turn into Ice, apply Freeze (2 to 6) directly, and gain a massive 10% to 40% Attack boost.

Ice Team Synergy

Ice strategies shine brightest when integrated with Water status enablers.

Drench an opponent first, then deploy Elgrove Cryst for an unmissable crowd-control freeze. Alternatively, mounting Frostallion lets you maintain constant Freeze pressure while dishing out heavy personal damage.

Shaolong

Shaolong focuses strictly on boosting pure offensive numbers.

Its Attack increases by 4% to 8% per additional Dragon Pal stored in the squad, making it formidable on full mono-element teams.

Dragon Team Synergy

Dragon rosters perform best when focusing heavily on mono-element team bonuses.

A solid foundation starts with Quivern for the Attack boost, backed by Blazamut Ryu for critical weak-point scaling. Supplementing with Shaolong or Eidrolon piles on passive stats, while mounting Chillet lets you deliver heavy Dragon damage personally.

Dark Partner Skills

Dark setups showcase some of the most dynamic synergy paths in Palworld. They offer distinct status routes centered on Blind and Poison, paired with exceptional direct damage multipliers.

Several top-tier Partner Skills operate independently of elemental typings. These utility options provide whole-team sustain, cooldown reduction, kill-streak bonuses, and direct combat buffs that easily fit any party.

Flambelle

Flambelle regenerates 0.1% to 0.5% Health per second while your party is out of combat.

While non-stackable, this passive aura completely eliminates healing downtime during long overland travels.

Stationing it at a Ranch also yields a consistent income of Flame Organs.

Celesdir

Celesdir provides dependable party-wide regeneration regardless of your overall element choice.

In addition to scaling stats from Neutral allies, it continuously heals you and your active team for 0.15% to 0.75% Health per second.

Cryolinx Terra

Cryolinx Terra rewards steady aim during high-stakes shootouts.

Scoring a weak-point hit increases the damage of your subsequent weak-point strike by 30% to 60%.

Carnibora

Carnibora transforms basic evasive maneuvers into offensive pressure.

Each dodge roll or step generates a cutting whirlwind that delivers Grass damage with 40 to 80 Power against colliding targets.

Blazamut

Blazamut scales dynamically throughout chaotic multi-target brawls.

Defeating an enemy raises your deployed Pal’s Attack and Defense by 5% to 10% for 20 seconds, stacking up to five times.

Maraith

Maraith provides incredible uptime for aggressive ability spam.

Each defeated foe reduces the Active Skill cooldowns of all party Pals by 30% to 60%, allowing continuous skill rotations.

Lapure

Lapure shortens the cooldown timer of every other teammate’s Partner Skill by 10% to 50%.

This is arguably the best support Pal available if your gameplay depends heavily on activated partner mechanics.

Celesdir Noct

Celesdir Noct trades personal vitality for explosive combat numbers.

Your deployed combat Pal gradually bleeds Health, but gains a massive 40% to 80% Attack multiplier.

Pairing this with steady external healing or Life Steal turns your active fighter into a devastating force.

Orserk

Orserk is built specifically to complement high-rate-of-fire weapons.

Each bullet impact increases your active Pal’s Attack and Defense by 1% to 5% for 5 seconds.

Because this buff stacks up to 30 times, unloading automatic magazines quickly turns your companion into a juggernaut during boss fights.

Xenolord

Xenolord amplifies companions that utilize offensive weapon abilities.

It enhances the Partner Skill damage of weapon-toting Pals like Gobfin, Loupmoon, and Nyafia by 20% to 50%.

General Team Synergy

Universal utility Pals integrate into any loadout without requiring specific elemental synergies.

Carrying Flambelle or Celesdir provides continuous passive healing while roaming. In boss arenas, Orserk quickly maxes stat stacks during gunplay, Maraith resets ability timers, and Lapure maintains high uptime on essential activated abilities.

Player-Focused Partner Skills

Certain Partner Skills focus entirely on boosting the player rather than the Pal. These passives enhance personal Attack, survivability, shield resilience, or evasive mobility across all combat situations.

If your personal arsenal does the bulk of the work, prioritizing these player-centric buffs yields massive returns.

Healing and Survival

Herbil

Herbil functions as a fail-safe combat revive. Suffering a lethal knockdown triggers an immediate resurrection with 30% to 60% maximum Health restored.

Teafant

Teafant acts as an emergency triage unit when your Health drops below 30%, healing you for 20% to 40% on a 120-second cooldown.

Petallia

Activating Petallia restores an immense 75% to 85% Health instantly, while its presence at camp raises all worker Planting Work Suitability by 1 level.

Petallia Ignis

Petallia Ignis pushes healing further, recovering 80% to 90% Health on skill use while granting the team 15% to 30% Grass damage reduction and immunity to Ivy-Covered.

Lyleen and Lyleen Noct

Both variants provide top-tier active recovery to keep you in the fight indefinitely:

  • Lyleen: Heals 80% to 90% Health.
  • Lyleen Noct: Heals 85% to 95% Health.

Slotting either variant removes any need to carry medical supplies into difficult dungeons.

Damage Buffs

Gobfin and Gobfin Ignis

Both Gobfin and Gobfin Ignis support personal weapons with direct fire while providing a flat 10% to 20% personal Attack increase, making them staple additions for gunners.

Vanwyrm and Vanwyrm Cryst

These flying mounts substantially augment damage dealt to enemy critical zones:

  • Vanwyrm: 20% to 40% weak-point damage.
  • Vanwyrm Cryst: 30% to 50% weak-point damage.

Because they are distinct species, running both on your team stacks their weak-point multipliers for extreme headshot damage.

Felbat

Felbat grants shared Life Steal, converting 5% to 9% of all outgoing damage into Health for both you and your active Pal.

Lovander

Lovander provides that identical 5% to 9% Life Steal passive, letting you pick whichever creature fits your elemental or aesthetic preference.

Menasting and Menasting Terra

Both versions grant a permanent 5% to 10% Defense boost to the player while raising loot drop rates from Electric foes by 40% to 80%.

Warsect and Warsect Terra

Landing five melee strikes within 5 to 9 seconds creates a protective force field, offering vital shielding during close-quarters combat.

Silvegis

Silvegis reinforces your energy shield directly, cutting regeneration delay by 30% to 60% and mitigating incoming shield damage by 65% to 80%.

Hartalis

Hartalis is a defensive mount that deploys a frontal barrier to absorb incoming fire, backed by an agile triple jump.

Tetroise Primo

Carrying Tetroise Primo nearly removes equipment maintenance by raising weapon and armor durability by 80% to 100%.

Tropicaw

Tropicaw extends dodge roll invulnerability frames by 15% to 30%, offering crucial leeway when evading wide boss attacks.

Lapiron

Lapiron raises personal Defense by 50% to 65% while sprinting, granting an effective escape buffer when disengaging.

Leezpunk and Leezpunk Ignis

Activating their skill renders you and your Pal completely invisible for 10 to 20 seconds, dropping enemy aggro for stealth repositioning.

Snugloo

Snugloo passively lowers enemy detection range, helping you slip past roaming hostiles without triggering combat.

Hoodle

Hoodle rewards ambush tactics by increasing opening strike damage against unalerted enemies by 50% to 100%.

Dupin

Dropping below 50% Health with Dupin unleashes a Fire explosion with 100 to 200 Power and max Burn buildup, while boosting your Attack by 30% to 50% until stabilized.

Solenne

Solenne rewards party diversity, granting a massive 30% to 80% personal Attack increase as long as all five party slots contain unique species.

Melee Weapon Partner Skills

Players who prefer close-quarters combat with swords, clubs, or katanas gain far more value from dedicated melee amplifiers than generic buffs.

Pupperai

Pupperai offers a straightforward and dependable 10% to 35% damage increase to all melee weapons.

Loupmoon and Loupmoon Cryst

Both Loupmoon variants execute unique melee abilities alongside you while boosting personal melee attack speed by 15% to 30%.

Bushi Noct

Bushi Noct boosts melee damage by 30% to 65% against targets not actively engaged in combat with you, perfect for stealth assassinations.

Skutlass and Skutlass Ignis

Both Skutlass variants transform directly into an equipped katana boasting 2,600 to 3,900 Attack upon skill activation.

Be careful with weapon uptime: failing to release the form promptly or triggering Iaigiri immediately incapacitates the Pal afterward.

Xenogard

Xenogard specifically amplifies advanced energy weaponry, raising energy-based damage by 10% to 35%.

Ranged Weapon Partner Skills

Archers and firearm enthusiasts can select from specialized companions tailored to enhance fire rate, ammo efficiency, and projectile power.

Robinquill

Robinquill provides a direct 10% to 35% damage increase to bows, delivering great value during early progression.

Robinquill Terra

Robinquill Terra accelerates bow draw speed by 15% to 30%, allowing quick fully charged arrow releases in combat.

Loomen

Loomen adds an explosive burst to every fired arrow, dealing 15% to 30% of personal Attack to clustered enemies on hit.

Frostplume

Frostplume boosts firearm reload speed by 20% to 50%, significantly reducing downtime during extended gunfights.

Nyafia

Nyafia fights alongside you with a shotgun while boosting your own shotgun damage output by 10% to 35%.

Xenovader

Xenovader rewards emptying entire magazines with automatic weapons, granting the final bullet in a burst 100% to 160% extra damage.

Xenogard

Xenogard reinforces futuristic arsenals, improving all energy-based ranged weaponry by 10% to 35%.

My Favorite Player Build

When leaning primarily on firearms rather than active Pal abilities, building around persistent party-wide buffs delivers exceptional consistency.

A proven lineup utilizes Gobfin for passive Attack, Vanwyrm Cryst for stacked weak-point damage, Felbat for Life Steal sustain, and Silvegis to reinforce defensive shields against raid bosses.

Because this framework operates independently of elemental requirements, you can cycle active combat Pals freely without compromising core player stats.

Egg Partner Skills

Breeding and egg gathering can consume hours of gameplay, but specialized Partner Skills accelerate hatching speeds and passive hunting dramatically.

Grintale

Grintale is essential when scouting the wild for wild clutches.

Carrying one provides a 50% to 75% chance to collect an additional duplicate egg from every harvested nest. This effect does not stack, so a single Grintale is all that is required.

Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua

Both Broncherry species improve the rarity and strength of wild finds:

  • Broncherry: 35% to 45% chance for eggs to upgrade into Alpha Pal Eggs.
  • Broncherry Aqua: 45% to 55% chance for eggs to upgrade into Alpha Pal Eggs.

Slotting either companion into your party drastically elevates hatchling stat baselines during exploration.

Braloha

Braloha accelerates camp-based breeding by 20% to 50% simply by being assigned to your active base, without ever needing to enter your party.

Dynamoff

<p><strong>Dynamoff</strong> handles the incubation bottleneck back home.</p>

Assigning it to your base cuts down Egg incubation times by 20% to 40%, streamlining massive breeding programs.

Best Egg Farming Setup

<p>For outdoor egg runs, keeping <strong>Grintale</strong> on your team reliably doubles nest yields.</p>

Back at base, pairing Braloha at the Breeding Farm with Dynamoff managing Incubators slashes both egg production and hatching times to a fraction of normal delays.

Capture Partner Skills

<p>Maximizing capture efficiency involves more than just crafting high-tier spheres. Specialized Partner Skills conserve inventory resources, automate targeting, and streamline passive inheritance.</p>

Wispaw

<p><strong>Wispaw</strong> rewards stealth positioning by significantly boosting catch rates whenever you trigger the Back Bonus on an unaware target.</p>

Katress

Katress provides valuable resource economy alongside farming utility.

<p>Neutral foes drop <strong>40% to 80%</strong> more loot upon defeat, while thrown Pal Spheres gain a <strong>10% to 50%</strong> chance to not be consumed on use.</p>

This sphere retention proves massive when attempting repeatedly low-percentage captures on legendary Alpha targets.

Lunaris

Lunaris makes outdoor exploration and capture runs far smoother.

<p>It increases inventory carrying capacity by <strong>300 to 600</strong> and enables automatic homing on all thrown Pal Spheres, preventing wasted throws against erratic targets.</p>

Yakumo

Yakumo is indispensable for breeding optimization and trait hunting.

<p>While battling alongside you, it provides a <strong>15% to 30%</strong> higher chance that captured wild Pals inherit the identical Passive Skill possessed by your Yakumo.</p>

Souffline

Souffline directly increases capture percentages against any target afflicted with the Ivy-Covered condition.

Muffly

Muffly mirrors this mechanic for the cold element, boosting capture chances against enemies that are actively Frozen.

Best Capture Setup

<p>Running <strong>Lunaris</strong> during standard map exploration solves carry weight limitations while sphere homing guarantees accurate throws.</p>

When targeting specific traits for breeding lines, Yakumo takes absolute priority to force passive inheritance, with Katress keeping sphere consumption low during extended boss attempts.

Fishing Partner Skills

<p>Fishing features dedicated Partner Skills that make minigames substantially easier while improving yield quantities and the chance to reel in talented Pals.</p>

Jelliette

Jelliette boosts total items gained from successful catches by 55% to 95%.

<p>When stationed at camp with Jellroy, Jelliette also receives a <strong>50% to 120%</strong> bonus to Watering task speed.</p>

Jellroy

<p>While <strong>Jellroy</strong> focuses on salvage rewards, increasing salvage yield by <strong>55% to 95%</strong>, it shares the camp-based <strong>50% to 120%</strong> Watering speed buff when paired with Jelliette.</p>

Gloopie

Gloopie introduces generous margin of error during fishing minigames.

<p>When bars fail to overlap, the capture gauge drains <strong>12% to 35%</strong> more slowly, granting ample time to correct reel tracking.</p>

Whalaska and Whalaska Ignis

Both Whalaska variants accelerate capture bar progression right from the cast:

  • Whalaska: Gauge starts 5% to 14% higher and fills 5% to 14% faster during overlaps.
  • Whalaska Ignis: Gauge starts 7% to 17% higher and fills 7% to 17% faster during overlaps.

<p>These head starts ensure difficult fish are landed before stamina wears down.</p>

Solmora

Keeping Solmora in your party noticeably increases the rate at which talented Pals appear during fishing sessions.

Solmora Lux

Solmora Lux preserves that identical talent attraction bonus while doubling as an electric mount that boosts player Attack by 5% to 20%.

Best Fishing Setup

For mass resource collection, Jelliette is unmatched for doubling raw loot payouts.

<p>When targeting high-stat specimens, prioritize <strong>Solmora</strong> alongside <strong>Gloopie</strong>, which provides the gauge decay protection needed to land elusive catches.</p>

Unsummoned Partner Skills

Certain Partner Skills activate autonomously while the Pal remains unsummoned in your reserve party, providing free damage, collection, or combo assaults without spending active combat slots.

Daedream

Daedream hovers beside you outside its sphere once its collar key item is unlocked.

It automatically fires dark projectiles at nearby hostiles, crucially never reducing wild targets below 1 HP to guarantee safe sphere captures.

Dazzi and Dazzi Noct

Both Dazzi and Dazzi Noct hover alongside you, slinging Electric or Dark magic at surrounding hostiles while honoring the 1 HP mercy threshold for safe captures.

Paladius

<p><strong>Paladius</strong> offers incredible traversal and cooperative combat mechanics.</p>

Alongside its signature triple jump, executing Spear Thrust while Necromus is in reserve causes Necromus to materialize and strike in tandem.

Necromus

Necromus completes this legendary synergy pairing.

Equipped with a double jump, activating Twin Spears immediately brings forth Paladius to attack alongside you, forming one of the most stylish dual-unit combos in the game.

Mining and Lumbering Partner Skills

Optimizing resource runs cuts out hours of farming. Select Partner Skills provide massive damage multipliers against ore or timber nodes while drastically reducing inventory weight.

Gumoss

<p><strong>Gumoss</strong> speeds up tree harvesting by <strong>30% to 50%</strong> while reducing all wood weight in your bags by <strong>40% to 60%</strong>.</p>

Eikthyrdeer

Eikthyrdeer is an incredible mount for deforesting large swathes of land.

<p>While mounted, its double jump aids repositioning and its logging efficiency skyrockets by <strong>220% to 500%</strong>.</p>

Rushoar

Rushoar specializes in shattering regular stone nodes at rapid speeds.

Charging forward while mounted accelerates stone destruction efficiency by an astounding 500% to 2,000%.

Mammorest and Mammorest Cryst

Both Mammorest variants serve as exceptional all-in-one gatherers from the saddle:

<ul><li><strong>Logging Efficiency</strong>: 220% to 500% increase.</li><li><strong>Mining Efficiency</strong>: 500% to 2,000% increase.</li></ul>

Carrying a Mammorest allows you to sweep clean both forest clusters and mineral outcroppings without swapping companions.

Digtoise

<p>Activating <strong>Digtoise</strong> puts it into a rapid spinning shell attack.</p>

The spinning shell pulverizes ore nodes with a 800% to 2,000% efficiency bonus, turning stubborn resource boulders to dust in seconds.

Astegon

<p><strong>Astegon</strong> is the undisputed endgame monarch of mineral extraction.</p>

Riding it elevates damage to ore by 1,100% to 3,300% and forces each node to yield 150% to 300% additional materials upon depletion.

Fuddler

<p><strong>Fuddler</strong> increases your personal pickaxe speed by <strong>30% to 60%</strong> and reduces stone weight by <strong>80% to 100%</strong>.</p>

Turtacle

Turtacle removes encumbrance issues during metal expeditions by reducing all raw ore weight by 80% to 100%.

Turtacle Terra

Turtacle Terra reduces inventory weight for sulfur and coal by 80% to 100% while boosting Ground weak-point damage equally.

Reptyro and Reptyro Cryst

Both Reptyro breeds provide reliable weight relief during mining expeditions:

  • Reptyro: 30% to 60% reduction to ore weight.
  • Reptyro Cryst: 35% to 65% reduction to ore weight.

Smokie

<p><strong>Smokie</strong> is custom-built for farming Chromite deposits.</p>

Activating its skill pings nearby Chromite formations on your screen, while traveling together raises Chromite extraction by 100% to 200%.

Best Gathering Setup

For endgame mineral mining, Astegon is mandatory due to its massive yield multipliers.

<p>Stacking <strong>Turtacle</strong> or <strong>Reptyro</strong> alongside it solves carry weight issues, letting you clear entire resource clusters before needing to fast travel back to base.</p>

Other Useful Partner Skills

Certain passives defy conventional combat or mining categorization, offering significant quality of life, fast travel, and progression acceleration.

Nox

Activating Nox pings nearby Pal Effigies directly on your HUD, making capture power upgrades substantially faster to track down.

Mimog

<p><strong>Mimog</strong> lockpicks sealed treasure chests without consuming physical keys, preserving rare copper, silver, and gold keys during map sweeps.</p>

Nitemary

Nitemary increases the drop volume of Pal Souls from defeated enemies by 100% to 200%, expediting Statue of Power upgrades.

Omascul

Omascul increases whole-party combat EXP gains by 40% to 80%, serving as one of the fastest leveling accelerators in the game.

Dogen

Dogen casts an instant teleport directly to your nearest established base from the open world, though it cannot be triggered within dungeons.

Flopie, Cave Bat, and Illuminant Bat

These flying companions hover beside you, automatically vacuuming dropped materials into your backpack to save gathering time.

Elemental Bonus Drop Partner Skills

<p>Certain companions force defeated enemies of a corresponding element to drop significantly increased crafting materials.</p>

Element Pal
Neutral Katress, Blazehowl Noct
Fire Faleris Aqua
Water Fenglope Lux
Electric Menasting, Menasting Terra
Ground Vaelet
Grass Blazehowl
Ice Faleris
Dragon Cryolinx
Dark Elphidran, Enchanted Sword

Every Pal listed in this roster elevates drops from their target element by 40% to 80%, saving substantial time when hunting rare crafting materials.

Defense and Immunity Partner Skills

These survival-oriented Partner Skills protect your squad from environmental hazards, status effects, and heavy incoming elemental bursts.

Elemental Resistance

Each corresponding creature reduces incoming damage from its target element by 15% to 30% and completely negates the associated status condition.

Element Pal Immunity
Neutral Sootseer —
Fire Elphidran Aqua Burn
Water Snock Lux Soak
Electric Bulldosu Electrify
Ground Wumpo Botan Muddy
Grass Petallia Ignis Ivy-Covered
Ice Kitsun Freeze
Dragon Pierdon Cryst —
Dark Kitsun Noct Blind

Aegidron

Aegidron mitigates explosive damage across the entire squad by 60% to 80% and grants total immunity to stun mechanics.

Jormuntide Ignis

<p>Beyond boosting damage against Burning foes, <strong>Jormuntide Ignis</strong> completely negates environmental lava damage, opening up volcanic traversal.</p>

Silvance

Silvance detonates Ivy-Covered foes while insulating the entire party from lethal Explosive Spores around the World Tree.

Dandilord

Dandilord coats your weapon hits in Poison, protects the team from toxic status, and entirely neutralizes the toxic clouds surrounding the World Tree.

Final Thoughts

<p>Optimizing your team around coherent Partner Skills yields far greater returns than stacking raw individual combat stats.</p>

Coordinated combos using Burn, Soak, Ivy-Covered, or Freeze regularly outdamage disjointed parties composed solely of high-tier legendaries. Once you leverage species-stacking rules and cross-element interactions, building an adaptable and devastating party becomes second nature.

The skill has no effect in dungeons or in similar places, but it is very convenient when exploring the open world.

Flopie, Cave Bat, and Illuminant Bat

They have the same utility.

They float at your side and automatically gather up items in the vicinity, thus eliminating the need for you to stop every few seconds to pick up the resources manually.

Elemental Bonus Drop Partner Skills

Certain Pals cause the amount of loot dropped by defeated elemental enemies to increase.

The Partner Skills have an effect only on a particular element, but they are good options if you are farming crafting materials.

Element Pal
Neutral Katress, Blazehowl Noct
Fire Faleris Aqua
Water Fenglope Lux
Electric Menasting, Menasting Terra
Ground Vaelet
Grass Blazehowl
Ice Faleris
Dragon Cryolinx
Dark Elphidran, Enchanted Sword

The Partner Skills listed all increase the amount of items dropped by the corresponding elemental Pals by 40 to 80 percent.

Defense and Immunity Partner Skills

Certain Partner Skills are all about ensuring survivability; they reduce elemental damage, prevent status effects, or guard you against hazardous environmental conditions.

Elemental Resistance

Each of the Pals provides a reduction of damage from one element by 15 to 30 per cent and makes you immune to the status effect of that element.

Element Pal Immunity
Neutral Sootseer —
Fire Elphidran Aqua Burn
Water Snock Lux Soak
Electric Bulldosu Electrify
Ground Wumpo Botan Muddy
Grass Petallia Ignis Ivy-Covered
Ice Kitsun Freeze
Dragon Pierdon Cryst —
Dark Kitsun Noct Blind

Aegidron

Aegidron focuses on explosive damage.

As long as it is in your party, you and your friends will take 60% to 80% less damage from explosions and will become entirely immune to being stunned.

Jormuntide Ignis

Although Jormuntide Ignis is mentioned in the Fire section, its defensive bonus still deserves a separate reference.

Apart from increasing the damage dealt to Burning enemies, it also completely eliminates lava damage, which makes exploration of volcanic areas much safer.

Silvance

Silvance defends your whole party from the World Tree’s Explosive Spores as well as causing explosions against enemies that have ivy on them.

Dandilord

While defending both you and your Pals from Poison, Dandilord also causes your attacks to have the Poison effect.

It also totally eliminates the toxic gas which is present around the World Tree, thereby making the exploration of the area much less hazardous.

Final Thoughts

After testing out dozens of different party combinations, I realised that Partner Skills are just as important as combat stats.

Certain top teams do not use famous Pals. Rather, they combine a number of Partner Skills which have a synergistic effect. A basic arrangement featuring Burn, Soak, Ivy-Covered, Blind, or Freeze generally turns out to be better than including five powerful Pals in the same party with no synergy.

After you know which Partner Skills stack with one another and which support the others, it will be much easier to put together a strong team. If you try out various combinations, you’ll soon discover setups that suit your own way of playing rather than just relying on raw combat power.
