Far from a traditional sect, Anmo Fortress was an insular stronghold that never took outside pupils. Its ranks were formed strictly of the core Mo lineage, recruited martial masters from the underworld, and the hand-reared offspring of past champions.

Anmo Fortress was governed by a strict hierarchy where the Lord exercised absolute command and elite disciples pledged unwavering fealty. Unlike the loose retainer system of the Long Clan, the Fortress enforced iron discipline to maintain complete unity and execute its master's will with ruthless efficiency.

Apart from its Master, members of Dark Demon Heavenly Castle seldom roamed the martial world, veiling their identities whenever forced to leave its walls. Thus, while the realm trembled at the fortress's dread name, that terror was almost entirely embodied by its lord alone.

Situated in the northeastern reaches of the Phantom Realm near snowcapped peaks, Anmo Fortress occupies treacherous, naturally fortified terrain that makes it virtually impregnable.

Nestled at the base of snow-capped peaks, the Dark Demonic Fortress was built from ominous black stone, exuding a chilling dread. Ringed by heavy garrisons, it remains virtually unapproachable to any outsider.

The Mo lineage trace their roots to a multicultural western outpost where their forefather first settled. Uprooted by warfare, they migrated east of the Phantom Realm to the northern edge of the Central Plains. There, their heirs blended ancestral swordplay with Central Plains arts, mastering the realm's distinctive Sha-Qi generation and manipulation. Fused with their clan's innate constitution, this legacy evolved into the Mo Clan's signature martial arts.

Over generations of expansion, the Mo Clan forged the Dark Demon Fortress, rising to become the premier syndicate of the martial underworld. Centered around devastating Sha-Qi, their ferocious martial arts strike terror into the hearts of all who traverse the Jianghu.

Anmo Fortress was ultimately overthrown, and its LordMo TianAnd Eldest SonMagic SwordKilled in action. Second sonSoulAdopted by strangers in infancy, eventually drifting toNancheng, later referred to as "The Order...adopted, eventually becoming The Order's Emissary, "Black Wound."

Though Anmo Fortress fell, the Mo bloodline and martial arts survived through Soul, who inherited this dark legacy to become the central protagonist of Phantom Blade.

The supreme sovereign of Anmo Fortress held unchallenged authority, with the mantle of Lord handed down across generations of the Mo bloodline.

The martial arts of Anmo Fortress revolved around Sha-Qi, weaving together ancestral swordplay, Central Plains techniques, and the Phantom Realm's unique mastery of Killing Intent generation.
