Nessie is one of the rarest fish families in Roblox Fisch, and the FischFright 3 event introduces three special variants for players to catch. These include Plush Nessie, Zombie Nessie, and Ghoul Nessie. Each variant has its own requirements, so you cannot obtain all three by simply fishing in the same location.

Plush Nessie is the easiest to get because you can obtain it through Trick or Treating or fishing in a Frightpool. Meanwhile, Zombie Nessie and Ghoul Nessie require players to activate special rituals at the Cemetery and meet several conditions before their fishing pools become available. Here is how to get all three Nessie variants in FischFright 3.

How to Get Plush Nessie in FischFright 3

Among the Nessie variants, Plush Nessie is the most accessible during FischFright 3. You can snag one by Trick or Treating around Caustic Hallow, or by fishing in any Frightpool with the right bait and conditions.

Method 1: Get Plush Nessie Through Trick or Treating

Boost your odds of earning Plush Nessie rewards by equipping a high-tier mask. These can be bought from the Dutchman Merchant NPC aboard the Flying Dutchman roaming Caustic Hallow.

The masks worth aiming for are:

  • Leviathan Mask: 10 Treats.
  • Mossjaw Mask: 1,500 Treats.
  • Leviathan Mask: Costs 10 Treats.
  • Mossjaw Mask: Costs 1,500 Treats.

Once equipped, circle the houses on the island to Trick or Treat. Patience is key here—Plush Nessie is a rare drop, so keep at it until you see it appear.

Keep visiting houses until you obtain the fish. Since it is a rare reward, you might need several attempts before it appears.

Method 2: Catch Plush Nessie in a Frightpool

If fishing is more your style, Plush Nessie can also be caught in any Frightpool during the event, provided you use the right bait and fish during autumn without weather restrictions.

  • Location: Any Frightpool
  • Weather: None
  • Time: Any
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy
  • Location: Any Frightpool
  • Weather: None
  • Time: Any time
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

Make sure you have Sour Jelly Candy before starting. While this method gives you another way to obtain Plush Nessie, you may find Trick or Treating more convenient if you already own a high-tier mask.

How to Get Zombie Nessie in FischFright 3

Securing Zombie Nessie takes more work, as you first need to unlock the Haunted Cemetery Ritual. This involves stepping through a layered ritual progression and collecting a variety of items before the fishing pool for Zombie Nessie appears.

Before you can start the ritual, make sure you’ve completed the Enhanced Boglin Ritual and gathered these items:

  • Complete one Enhanced Boglin Ritual.
  • Obtain 2 Hex Stage.
  • Obtain 4 Awakened Skeletal Hands.
  • Complete one Enhanced Boglin Ritual.
  • Obtain 2 Hex Stage.
  • Obtain 4 Awakened Skeletal Hands.

Jack-o-Lantern items needed:

  • Dirty Candy Corn
  • Crushed Bone
  • Strange Root
  • Giant Mushroom
  • Spider Eye
  • Bat Wing
  • Raven Feather

Skeletal Hands fish:

  • Grim Skull
  • Vile Skull
  • Doomed Skull
  • Dobhar

Once you’ve crossed off all these steps, activate the Haunted Cemetery Ritual at the Cemetery Ground. This transports you to the Haunted Cemetery where you’ll find the fishing pool.

Spawning Zombie Nessie Pool

At the Haunted Cemetery, collect Haunted Bones scattered around and deposit a total of 15 into the Haunted Cauldron located centrally. Cooperation with other players speeds this up but solo runs are possible with persistence.

You need to contribute a total of 15 Haunted Bones to the cauldron with your friends or other players. Once the requirement is met, a fishing pool will appear, allowing you to try catching Zombie Nessie.

The pool appears once 15 Haunted Bones are deposited. To maximize your chances of catching Zombie Nessie, fish with these conditions:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Black Licorice

If you struggle to get the Jack-o-Moon weather, the Dutchman Merchant sells a Jack-o-Moon Totem for 15,000 Treats that guarantees it.

Remember that spawning the pool does not guarantee an immediate catch. Keep fishing with Black Licorice and make sure the weather, time, and season match the requirements.

How to Get Ghoul Nessie in FischFright 3

Ghoul Nessie is a tougher prize, requiring completion of the Omniscient Ritual and gathering rare items. Alternatively, you can catch it during the limited Spooky Cemetery Admin Event on active servers.

Since the Admin Event only runs once a week, preparing for the ritual is a more practical option if you want to actively pursue Ghoul Nessie.

Requirements for the Ghoul Nessie Ritual

The crafting list to prepare for Ghoul Nessie includes:

  • Complete one Omniscient Ritual.
  • Obtain 2 Hex Stage.
  • Obtain 5 Awakened Skeletal Hands.

Prepare the following items:

With everything ready, activate the Ghoul Nessie Ritual at the Cemetery to unlock the fishing pool.

How to Catch Ghoul Nessie

Once you meet the requirements, activate the Ghoul Nessie Ritual at the Cemetery. The ritual will give you access to the Haunted Cemetery, where you can fish in the available pool for a chance to catch Ghoul Nessie.

Catching Ghoul Nessie requires:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy
  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

Like with Zombie Nessie, you can buy a Jack-o-Lantern Totem from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats to secure the weather. Note Ghoul Nessie prefers Sour Jelly Candy instead of Black Licorice.

Keep in mind the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event is a weekly opportunity to try your luck with Ghoul Nessie without going through all the rituals.

Comparing Plush, Zombie, and Ghoul Nessie Your choice of which Nessie to pursue depends on how far you’ve progressed. Plush Nessie is perfect for quick grabs, while Zombie and Ghoul Nessie require a serious commitment to the game’s ritual mechanics and item farming.

  • Plush Nessie: Best for casual players. Get it by Trick or Treating with a top-tier mask or fishing in any Frightpool with Sour Jelly Candy.
  • Zombie Nessie: Opens after the Haunted Cemetery Ritual, with a need for teamwork to spawn the fishing pool.
  • Ghoul Nessie: Reserved for veterans who’ve completed the Omniscient Ritual or during rare Admin Events.
  • Plush Nessie: The easiest option for most players. Obtain it through Trick or Treating with a high-tier mask or fish for it in any Frightpool using Sour Jelly Candy.
  • Zombie Nessie: Requires the Haunted Cemetery Ritual, a contribution of 15 Haunted Bones to the cauldron, and the correct fishing conditions.
  • Ghoul Nessie: Requires the Omniscient Ritual and additional rare items, including an Omniscient-mutated Dobhar. You can also try obtaining it during the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event.

For those new to FischFright 3, focus on Plush Nessie first to get a feel for the event’s mechanics before moving on to the more intricate rituals needed for the other two Nessies.
