Nessie is one of the rarest fish families in Roblox Fisch, and the FischFright 3 event introduces three special variants for players to catch. These include Plush Nessie, Zombie Nessie, and Ghoul Nessie. Each variant has its own requirements, so you cannot obtain all three by simply fishing in the same location.

Plush Nessie is the easiest to get because you can obtain it through Trick or Treating or fishing in a Frightpool. Meanwhile, Zombie Nessie and Ghoul Nessie require players to activate special rituals at the Cemetery and meet several conditions before their fishing pools become available. Here is how to get all three Nessie variants in FischFright 3.

Getting your hands on **Plush Nessie** is surprisingly accessible, thanks to two clear paths: Trick or Treating or fishing in a Frightpool. The two methods cater to different player types, but either can deliver this rare catch relatively quickly if you know where to look and what to bring.

Plush Nessie is the easiest variant to obtain during FischFright 3 because there are two ways to get it. You can either participate in the Trick or Treat event around Caustic Hallow or catch it by fishing in a Frightpool. Both methods are available during the event, but Trick or Treating is a good option if you have a high-tier mask.

The quickest way is by gearing up for Trick or Treating. Head to Caustic Hallow and track down the Dutchman Merchant aboard the Flying Dutchman ship. Investing Treats in high-tier masks like the Leviathan Mask (10 Treats) or the Mossjaw Mask (1,500 Treats) boosts your chances of scoring Plush Nessie as a reward when you visit houses.

To improve your chances of getting Plush Nessie from Trick or Treating, purchase and equip a high-tier mask. You can buy masks from the Dutchman Merchant NPC, who appears aboard the Flying Dutchman ship roaming around Caustic Hallow.

The two recommended masks are:

  • Leviathan Mask: Costs 10 Treats.
  • Mossjaw Mask: Costs 1,500 Treats.

After purchasing a mask, equip it and visit houses around the island to participate in Trick or Treating. Better masks can improve your chances of receiving rare rewards, including Plush Nessie.

Equip your mask and visit as many houses as you can. Plush Nessie is a rare drop, so patience plays a big role here. Keep at it until you snag the fish and celebrate your early FischFright success.

If fishing feels more like your style, Plush Nessie also appears in any **Frightpool** during the Autumn season. Use Sour Jelly Candy as bait with no particular weather requirement and fish any time of day for your chance at this variant. Just keep in mind that fishing requires time and the right setup more than Trick or Treating does.

If you prefer fishing, you can try catching Plush Nessie in any Frightpool during FischFright 3. However, you need to use the correct bait and season to meet its preferred fishing conditions.

Use the following setup when fishing for Plush Nessie:

  • Location: Any Frightpool
  • Weather: None
  • Time: Any time
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

Make sure you have Sour Jelly Candy before starting. While this method gives you another way to obtain Plush Nessie, you may find Trick or Treating more convenient if you already own a high-tier mask.

How to Get Zombie Nessie in FischFright 3

Turning to the more complex variants, catching **Zombie Nessie** means entering the shadows of the Haunted Cemetery. This requires completing the full progression of FischFright rituals, culminating in activating the Haunted Cemetery Ritual. It’s far from a casual walk in the park and demands patience, practice, and preparation.

Requirements for the Haunted Cemetery Ritual

Before summoning Zombie Nessie’s fishing pool, you must have completed the Enhanced Boglin Ritual among others, and gathered essential items including:

  • 2 Hex Stage
  • 4 Awakened Skeletal Hands

Plus, **Jack-o-Lantern** items like a Dirty Candy Corn, Crushed Bone, Strange Root, Giant Mushroom, Spider Eye, Bat Wing, and Raven Feather. The Skeletal Hands also require fish like Grim Skull, Vile Skull, Doomed Skull, and Dobhar.

Here are the requirements for activating the Zombie Nessie ritual:

  • Complete one Enhanced Boglin Ritual.
  • Obtain 2 Hex Stage.
  • Obtain 4 Awakened Skeletal Hands.

Jack-o-Lantern items:

  • 1 Dirty Candy Corn
  • 1 Crushed Bone
  • 1 Strange Root
  • 1 Giant Mushroom
  • 1 Spider Eye
  • 1 Bat Wing
  • 1 Raven Feather

Skeletal Hands fish requirements:

  • 1 Grim Skull
  • 1 Vile Skull
  • 1 Doomed Skull
  • 1 Dobhar

Once all items and preparations are complete, activate the Haunted Cemetery Ritual. You’ll be teleported to the Haunted Cemetery, where you’ll need to collect and deposit 15 Haunted Bones into the central cauldron. This can be a team effort with friends to speed things up.

How to Spawn the Zombie Nessie Pool

After arriving at the Haunted Cemetery, search the area for Haunted Bones. Collect these items and deposit them into the Haunted Cauldron located in the center of the area.

You need to contribute a total of 15 Haunted Bones to the cauldron with your friends or other players. Once the requirement is met, a fishing pool will appear, allowing you to try catching Zombie Nessie.

As the fishing pool for Zombie Nessie appears, get your setup right. You’ll want to fish at night, during Autumn, in the Haunted Cemetery Pool with the Jack-o-Moon weather condition active. Using Black Licorice bait optimizes your catch rate. For guaranteed weather, the Jack-o-Moon Totem (15,000 Treats) from the Dutchman Merchant is a worthwhile investment.

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Black Licorice

You can also purchase a Jack-o-Moon Totem from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats. Using this totem can help you obtain the preferred weather condition for Zombie Nessie, making it easier to fish under the required conditions.

Remember that spawning the pool does not guarantee an immediate catch. Keep fishing with Black Licorice and make sure the weather, time, and season match the requirements.

How to Get Ghoul Nessie in FischFright 3

**Ghoul Nessie** takes things a step further in difficulty. Available either through the rare Spooky Cemetery Admin Event or the Ghoul Nessie Ritual, this fish demands the highest level of preparation and item collection, including a completed Omniscient Ritual.

Since the Admin Event only runs once a week, preparing for the ritual is a more practical option if you want to actively pursue Ghoul Nessie.

Requirements for the Ghoul Nessie Ritual

The Ghoul Nessie Ritual requires you to gather even more rare materials beyond those for Zombie Nessie:

  • 2 Hex Stage
  • 5 Awakened Skeletal Hands
  • 3 Dark Art Skull items

Required Jack-o-Lantern items are the same as for Zombie Nessie, but the skeletal hands must include an additional Eldritch Skull and an Omniscient-mutated Dobhar.

Prepare the following items:

  • Complete one Omniscient Ritual.
  • Obtain 2 Hex Stage.
  • Obtain 5 Awakened Skeletal Hands.

Jack-o-Lantern items:

  • 1 Dirty Candy Corn
  • 1 Crushed Bone
  • 1 Strange Root
  • 1 Giant Mushroom
  • 1 Spider Eye
  • 1 Bat Wing
  • 1 Raven Feather

Destroyed Jack-o-Lantern requirements:

  • 3 Dark Art Skull items.

Skeletal Hands fish requirements:

  • 1 Grim Skull
  • 1 Vile Skull
  • 1 Doomed Skull
  • 1 Eldritch Skull
  • 1 Omniscient-mutated Dobhar

Gather all the required materials before heading to the Cemetery. Since Ghoul Nessie requires an Omniscient Ritual and additional rare fish, preparing everything in advance can save you from repeatedly returning to collect missing items.

How to Catch Ghoul Nessie

With everything ready, activate the ritual at the Cemetery to access the Haunted Cemetery pool again. Here, fish at night with Jack-o-Moon weather, during Autumn, and use Sour Jelly Candy as bait. The Jack-o-Lantern Totem remains a valuable help for weather control. If luck’s on your side and the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event triggers, that event offers a shortcut to catch this elusive variant.

Before fishing, make sure you have the correct bait and environmental conditions. Ghoul Nessie prefers the following setup:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

You can purchase a Jack-o-Lantern Totem from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats to help obtain the preferred weather condition. Make sure you use Sour Jelly Candy for Ghoul Nessie, as its preferred bait differs from the Black Licorice required for Zombie Nessie.

If the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event becomes available in your server, you can also use that opportunity to pursue Ghoul Nessie without relying entirely on the ritual route.

If this event is your first run, Plush Nessie makes a great starting point — quick, straightforward, and a nice trophy. Once you’re comfortable, advancing through FischFright’s rituals unlocks Zombie and Ghoul Nessies, each ramping up the challenge by demanding coordinated rituals, item hunts, and the right fishing conditions. Balancing patience and preparation tops the list for snagging these spooky additions to your collection.

Each Nessie variant has a different acquisition method, so choosing the right approach depends on your current progress in FischFright 3.

  • Plush Nessie: The easiest option for most players. Obtain it through Trick or Treating with a high-tier mask or fish for it in any Frightpool using Sour Jelly Candy.
  • Zombie Nessie: Requires the Haunted Cemetery Ritual, a contribution of 15 Haunted Bones to the cauldron, and the correct fishing conditions.
  • Ghoul Nessie: Requires the Omniscient Ritual and additional rare items, including an Omniscient-mutated Dobhar. You can also try obtaining it during the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event.

If you are new to the event, start with Plush Nessie before working toward the more demanding ritual-based variants. Players who have already progressed through the Cemetery rituals can focus on gathering the materials needed for Zombie Nessie and Ghoul Nessie.
