  • Plush Nessie vs. Zombie Nessie vs. Ghoul Nessie

Roblox Fisch’s FischFright 3 event adds some of the rarest and most intricate fishing challenges, especially with its trio of Nessie variants. These elusive creatures push players to complete different rituals and hunt specific event items, making each encounter feel special and rewarding. The thrill of finally hooking a Plush, Zombie, or Ghoul Nessie comes with mastering the event’s unique mechanics and progression.

Nessie stands as one of the most coveted fish families in Roblox Fisch, and FischFright 3 rolls out three exclusive variants for players to track down: Plush Nessie, Zombie Nessie, and Ghoul Nessie. Each requires a distinct approach—fishing in special locations, activating rituals, or taking part in event activities—so your tactic needs to match the Nessie you’re after.

Nessie is one of the rarest fish families in Roblox Fisch, and the FischFright 3 event introduces three special variants for players to catch. These include Plush Nessie, Zombie Nessie, and Ghoul Nessie. Each variant has its own requirements, so you cannot obtain all three by simply fishing in the same location.

Among these variants, Plush Nessie offers the simplest path, accessible via Trick or Treating or fishing in designated Frightpools during the event. The other two, Zombie and Ghoul Nessie, demand completing complex rituals located at the Cemetery, unlocking their unique fishing spots only after fulfilling all conditions.

Plush Nessie is easily the most approachable for Fischers dipping into FischFright 3 for the first time. It’s obtainable through event activities or proper fishing setups, giving you multiple ways to add this charming fish to your collection early on.

To secure Plush Nessie, your options include Trick or Treating around Caustic Hallow or fishing within any Frightpool. Trick or Treating is particularly handy if you’ve already got your hands on a high-tier mask, enhancing your drop chances for rare rewards.

Method 1: Get Plush Nessie Through Trick or Treating

When leaning into the Trick or Treat event, make sure to upgrade your mask. The Dutchman Merchant NPC, who cruises around Caustic Hallow aboard the Flying Dutchman ship, is your go-to for picking up these masks.

Two masks stand out for improving your Trick or Treat results for Plush Nessie:

  • Leviathan Mask: Priced at 10 Treats, a quick upgrade for better chances.
  • Mossjaw Mask: At 1,500 Treats, this high-tier mask really boosts rare fish drops.

After you have a mask equipped, roam the houses across the island, Trick or Treating until Plush Nessie rewards pop up. Be patient—rarity means it might take several visits to see it appear.

If you prefer fishing, Plush Nessie can be caught directly from any Frightpool too. Just make sure you prepare with the right bait and fish during the event’s preferred season.

Here’s what you need for fishing Plush Nessie:

  • Location: Any Frightpool
  • Weather: None required
  • Time: Any
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

Stock Sour Jelly Candy before fishing. Though you can catch Plush Nessie this way, Trick or Treating can be quicker if you own a good mask.

Zombie Nessie is a tougher catch, unlocked only through the Haunted Cemetery Ritual. This adds a ritualistic layer to your game, demanding multiple steps, rare item collections, and completing a series of progressively challenging rituals.

Before activating the ritual, you’ll need to have finished one Enhanced Boglin Ritual along with several other prerequisite rituals like the Hexed and Scary Relic Rituals. Gathering specific fish and crafting materials is also necessary.

To start the Zombie Nessie ritual, you must have:

  • Completed an Enhanced Boglin Ritual
  • 2 Hex Stages
  • 4 Awakened Skeletal Hands

Plus, the following Jack-o-Lantern items:

  • 1 Dirty Candy Corn
  • 1 Crushed Bone
  • 1 Strange Root
  • 1 Giant Mushroom
  • 1 Spider Eye
  • 1 Bat Wing
  • 1 Raven Feather

Here are the requirements for activating the Zombie Nessie ritual:

  • Complete one Enhanced Boglin Ritual.
  • Obtain 2 Hex Stage.
  • Obtain 4 Awakened Skeletal Hands.

Jack-o-Lantern items:

  • 1 Dirty Candy Corn
  • 1 Crushed Bone
  • 1 Strange Root
  • 1 Giant Mushroom
  • 1 Spider Eye
  • 1 Bat Wing
  • 1 Raven Feather

And these Skeletal Hands fish requirements:

  • 1 Grim Skull
  • 1 Vile Skull
  • 1 Doomed Skull
  • 1 Dobhar

Once you’ve assembled everything and completed prior rituals, you can trigger the Haunted Cemetery Ritual at the Cemetery Ground. This transports you to the Haunted Cemetery, setting the stage for Zombie Nessie to spawn.

At the Haunted Cemetery, your team must collect Haunted Bones scattered around and contribute a total of 15 into the Haunted Cauldron located centrally. This collective effort unlocks the Zombie Nessie fishing pool.

To maximize your catch rate, fish under these conditions:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Black Licorice

It helps to grab the Jack-o-Moon Totem from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats to trigger the ideal weather. Zombie Nessie won’t bite immediately, so make sure conditions stay right while you fish.

Ghoul Nessie raises the stakes with even more elaborate demands. It requires the Omniscient Ritual – a step beyond the Haunted Cemetery Ritual – and the collection of even rarer fish and items.

There’s also a chance to catch Ghoul Nessie during the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event, but this event is limited to weekly appearances, making the ritual method more reliable for dedicated players.

To attempt the Ghoul Nessie Ritual, prepare:

Completed an Omniscient Ritual 2 Hex Stages 5 Awakened Skeletal Hands

Along with the following Jack-o-Lantern items:

  • 1 Dirty Candy Corn
  • 1 Crushed Bone
  • 1 Strange Root
  • 1 Giant Mushroom
  • 1 Spider Eye
  • 1 Bat Wing
  • 1 Raven Feather

Plus 3 Dark Art Skull items:

  • 3 Dark Art Skulls

And these Skeletal Hands fish requirements:

  • 1 Grim Skull
  • 1 Vile Skull
  • 1 Doomed Skull
  • 1 Eldritch Skull
  • 1 Omniscient-mutated Dobhar

It’s wise to prepare all materials before visiting the Cemetery so you don’t need to repeatedly return for missing items.

Once ready, activate the Ghoul Nessie Ritual at the Cemetery to unlock access to the Haunted Cemetery pool.

For the best chance at catching Ghoul Nessie, fish with these conditions:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

The Jack-o-Lantern Totem helps with weather conditions here as well. Notice the bait difference: Ghoul Nessie prefers Sour Jelly Candy while Zombie Nessie favors Black Licorice.

If the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event triggers on your server, that’s another great opportunity to pursue Ghoul Nessie without relying solely on rituals.

Comparing the three Nessie types highlights their unique challenges and rewards. Plush Nessie is your straightforward introduction, Zombie Nessie adds a ritual and group component, and Ghoul Nessie demands the highest dedication with rare materials and an optional timed event.

Plush Nessie: Easiest for newcomers, available via Trick or Treating or Frightpool fishing using Sour Jelly Candy. Zombie Nessie: Requires Haunted Cemetery Ritual, contribution of 15 Haunted Bones, and strict fishing conditions. Ghoul Nessie: Most demanding; needs Omniscient Ritual completion, rare fish collections, and specific bait, or access via the Admin Event.

For anyone just starting, Plush Nessie is a practical first step. Players advancing through event content should then target the Cemetery rituals to unlock Zombie and Ghoul Nessie, making the journey as rewarding as the catches themselves.

Before fishing, make sure you have the correct bait and environmental conditions. Ghoul Nessie prefers the following setup:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

You can purchase a Jack-o-Lantern Totem from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats to help obtain the preferred weather condition. Make sure you use Sour Jelly Candy for Ghoul Nessie, as its preferred bait differs from the Black Licorice required for Zombie Nessie.

If the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event becomes available in your server, you can also use that opportunity to pursue Ghoul Nessie without relying entirely on the ritual route.

Plush Nessie vs. Zombie Nessie vs. Ghoul Nessie

Each Nessie variant has a different acquisition method, so choosing the right approach depends on your current progress in FischFright 3.

  • Plush Nessie: The easiest option for most players. Obtain it through Trick or Treating with a high-tier mask or fish for it in any Frightpool using Sour Jelly Candy.
  • Zombie Nessie: Requires the Haunted Cemetery Ritual, a contribution of 15 Haunted Bones to the cauldron, and the correct fishing conditions.
  • Ghoul Nessie: Requires the Omniscient Ritual and additional rare items, including an Omniscient-mutated Dobhar. You can also try obtaining it during the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event.

If you are new to the event, start with Plush Nessie before working toward the more demanding ritual-based variants. Players who have already progressed through the Cemetery rituals can focus on gathering the materials needed for Zombie Nessie and Ghoul Nessie.
