- All Knight Transformations in Sovereign Tower
Sovereign Tower invites players into a dynamic world where the Knights you recruit shape your journey through its sprawling story. Unlocking all Knights isn’t just a checkbox achievement; each character brings unique perspectives and abilities that heighten the strategic depth and narrative richness of the game. Knowing who to recruit and when can dramatically alter your experience, especially since many Knights appear only under specific conditions or choices, making recruitment a pivotal aspect of mastering the game.
Many Knights also have alternate forms that change their appearance or story. You can miss a few of these transformations because they depend on tournament decisions, quest choices, or even letting a Knight die.
This guide will help you to recruit every Knight in Sovereign Tower and all Knight transformations.

Act I Knights
Angelica

Angelica is your default companion, available from the moment you begin your campaign. She sets the tone for your Round Table’s composition and is a reliable presence in early encounters.
Requirement: None.
Goberto
Goberto joins your ranks on Day 2, marking the first extension of your warrior pool beyond the starter Knight.
Gwendan

Gwendan appears naturally following Goberto’s arrival, stepping in on Day 3 as the narrative progresses.
Requirement: He appears on Day 3.
Ursula
Ursula arrives later in the first act.
Ursula enriches the Round Table further by joining on Day 5, adding diversity in your battle strategy options.
Dulahan

Dulahan emerges only after Goberto’s demise, so be aware that this Knight is locked behind the death of a key companion and can appear anytime after Goberto falls.
Requirement: Goberto must be dead.
This event can occur in any act.
Chester
Chester’s recruitment demands careful attention to his quests involving eggs. Accept his first quest and dispatch Angelica to support it effectively.
First, accept his first quest and send Angelica.
During Chester’s second quest, pay attention to how he describes the eggs when he gives you the quest.
For Chester’s second egg quest, attentiveness to his egg descriptions determines which Knight to send:
- Shiny egg: Send Gwendan.
- Delicious aroma egg: Send a Knight with a mount.
- Smells bad egg: Send a Knight who carries cheese.
Upon completing the second quest, avoid choosing the dialogue option “You’re Welcome.” This subtle choice is crucial for proper recruitment.
Once done, Chester can be easily recruited.
Grovershire and Gavault Knights
The recruitment of these Knights depends on which questline you are following.
Siding with either Arnold (Grovershire) or Damian (Gavault) profoundly influences your recruitment options. There’s even a secret third option revealed after completing the game once and rerunning, which opens additional dialogue and outcomes.
- Arnold for Grovershire.
- Damian for Gavault.
There is also a secret third outcome for both questlines. You need to discover Gideon’s past, finish the game once, and then start a rerun. That route will open extra choices during these storylines.
The Grovershire path leads to The Wolf, Rufus, or Silgur, while the Gavault path leads to Brunhilda or Tarcus.
The Wolf

Within the Grovershire storyline, opt to kill the beast and send Angelica. This action recruits The Wolf as a steadfast ally.
Angelica will return with The Wolf as a companion.
Rufus
Choosing to break the beast’s curse instead will bring Rufus to your side, offering a different dynamic for your team.
This will give you Rufus instead of The Wolf.
Silgur

Choose to kill the beast, but do not send Angelica.
If you decide to kill the beast but do not send Angelica, Silgur becomes recruitable as a result of this alternative approach.
Brunhilda
Investigation priorities affect recruitment drastically. Focusing on taverns and sparing Brunhilda’s mother leads to her invitation to the Round Table. Early dialogue choices and maintaining a high Audacity score are also critical — if her recruitment option isn’t visible, revisit earlier conversations with NPC Mathilda and try the purple dialogue prompt.
Later, do not help Brunhilda arrest her mother.
You can also finish the questline once, travel back in time, and invite Brunhilda at the start of the questline through the purple dialogue option.
The recruitment option also depends on earlier dialogue choices and a high enough Audacity score. If the option does not appear, rewind to your earlier conversation with Mathilda and use the invitation option.
Tarcus

In the Gavault path, focusing your investigation on the nobles unlocks Tarcus for recruitment. This path diverges significantly from other storylines, emphasizing social intrigue and noble politics.
That path will recruit Tarcus.
Act II Knights
Arron
Defeating the formidable Dragon Knight is your ticket to recruiting Arron. His appearance post-fight brings a fresh combat advantage.
Arron will appear after that fight.
Gideon
Gideon does not need a special quest.
Gideon becomes available anytime after you travel back in time, ideal for players who enjoy exploration, as he can be recruited directly from the map without additional quests.
Alwena
Alwena is a unique case — she appears only when your Round Table is completely depleted. Sending all Knights out on quests simultaneously creates this vacancy. Make sure you have an empty Knight slot before accepting her offer, as she tends to stay only briefly unless extended by items like mounts.
You need to send all of your Knights on quests. For example, if you have three Knights, send all three away for two quest cycles. The next day, your tower should have nobody available.
Go back to the Round Table, and Alwena will offer to become a Knight.
Make sure you have an empty Knight slot before doing this.
Alwena normally stays for only one cycle on quests, although you can extend her quest time with mounts and similar equipment.
Ligia
To recruit Ligia, you need to save her father during her storyline. Failure to do so results in Southbay’s destruction and her rise as Countess, which sadly removes her from joining your table.
If her father dies, Southbay’s settlements are destroyed, and Ligia becomes the new Countess. In that situation, she does not join the Round Table. So make sure you save her father to recruit her.
Also, be careful with the lamp during her storyline. If you have stolen the lamp and then lie about it, then Ligia will not ask to join your Round Table.
Childeric
Winning the Almor Tournament without sending Goberto unlocks Childeric. It’s a subtle challenge that emphasizes tactical squad selection.
Childeric will join afterward.
Zolta
You don’t have to win the Kutnar race to recruit Zolta.
For his recruitment, cheat at any point during the race. You can also cheat with Tarcus or The Wolf.
Alternatively, use Dulahan in the third part of the race, and you’ll get a special result. A Lion mount can also produce a special interaction.
To recruit this Knight, you need 250 Gold.
Oliver
Oliver must be spared in the prologue to appear later in Act II. Most players see him emerge around Cycle 19 when their Scholar score reaches about 20, though this threshold isn’t fully confirmed.
Oliver appears in Act II, but his recruitment requirement is still unknown.
Many players found that Oliver can appear around Cycle 19 when your Scholar score is high enough. Make sure to get 20 Scholar since it is the most commonly reported value. However, the exact threshold is not fully confirmed.
Some players have recruited him on reruns, while others could not see him even after meeting the known conditions. In most opinions, you need to spare him from the start and keep your Scholar score around 20+.
Important: If you kill Oliver during the first prologue, it may permanently affect his recruitment on that save file, even during later reruns.
Act III Knights
Epicrates
Recruit Epicrates by either winning his trial or orchestrating a prison break—if choosing the latter, avoid sending Tarcus as he attempts to kill Epicrates during the escape.
- Win his trial.
- Break him out of prison.
If you choose the prison escape, do not send Tarcus. Players have confirmed that Tarcus tries to kill Epicrates during the breakout.
Edith
Edith becomes recruitable only after choosing the second dialogue option when the Moonvale emissary arrives and traveling back in time. She will then appear on the map ready for recruitment.
After you travel back in time, you can recruit Edith from the map.
Daugez
Daugez is summoned by dropping one of your faction scores very low, such as lowering the people faction to about 7 around Day 26. An event then permits knighting someone, and Daugez arrives the following day.
One confirmed method is to lower the people faction score to around 7. Around Day 26, an event will appear that lets you knight someone. Daugez will show up the next day.
Many players have reported that a different faction with a very low score can also trigger him to show up, but low noble satisfaction did not work in every playthrough.
Gothild
Gothild can join in two ways: through a New Game+ assassination quest that involves killing Victoria, or by dueling and defeating Victoria during the Yohav questline before the murder investigation concludes.
On New Game+, take the “Assassination Sponsor” quest and kill Victoria.
You can also defeat Victoria in a duel before the murder investigation ends in the Yohav questline. Gothild will then approach you and ask to join the Round Table.
Victoria
Victoria joins your Round Table after completing her full quest chain, adding a rich narrative element to your roster.
She joins after the quest ends.
Ari
Ari comes into play through dialogue choices when the brothers first arrive—selecting the bottom option invites him. Another route involves gaining merchant favor during the Basalt Isles questline and obtaining a gryphon, which unlocks his recruitment.
Later, recruit Ari from the world map.
Players have also found another route during the Basalt Isles questline. If you have enough merchant favor, ask the brothers if they know someone who can sell you a gryphon. This misunderstanding will bring Ari into the story, and you can recruit him afterward.
All Knight Transformations in Sovereign Tower
Transformations among Knights vary between simple visual changes and deeper impacts on dialogue and abilities. Paying attention to tournament decisions, quest choices, or even the fate of certain Knights can reveal these alternate forms, providing fresh gameplay angles and strategic options.
