007: First Light usually keeps infiltration straightforward, but the Knightfall mission ramps up the challenge with a tricky hallway bristling with motion sensors that can lock doors the moment you trigger them. This sneaking segment demands careful navigation and puzzle-solving, making it one of the more memorable stealth hurdles in the game.
In the middle of Knightfall, you’ll encounter a corridor lined with motion sensors that activate lock mechanisms if you mistakenly step into their beams. The key to bypassing this is to first turn right upon entering the area to find a movable box. Push this box aside to reveal a vent shaft that you can crawl through, setting your path beyond the sensor’s reach.
Crawling through the vent, veer left to enter an office where you’ll spot the “Office Toy” collectible. More importantly, the door here leads directly to a sensor-free spot in the middle of the hallway, granting safe passage past the guarded corridor.
Once you’re in the hallway, activate your Q-Watch to hack the Door Controller located inside an office across from you. This hack is crucial, as it will later allow you to manipulate the environment to your advantage. After the hack, backtrack through the vent and crawl through to the other side of the hallway.
With Bond across, your focus shifts to Greenway. Head into the office where you hacked the door and use the terminal there to summon the Cleaning Robot. This autonomous helper will unlock the door blocking the path, letting Greenway join you.
The final step involves a large button in the room that disables all motion sensors. Interacting with this control ensures Greenway can cross the hallway safely. With the sensors off, you can proceed deeper into the Knightfall mission without triggering alarms or lockdowns.
In this final room, there will be a large button to disable the motion sensors. Simply interact with it and Greenway will be able to walk through the hallway without any issues. You have now successfully bypassed the sensors and can continue the Knightfall mission.
