Most obstacles in Beast of Reincarnation crumble before Emma’s sword, but when you reach the Pilgrim Zone’s belfry, you’re met with a refreshing puzzle. To proceed, you need to ring a bell – and that means lighting three fires in a very specific sequence. It’s a rare brain-teaser moment that stands out, demanding some attention to detail and observation.
How to Solve the Belfry Puzzle in Beast of Reincarnation
Ignore the urge to light the fires randomly; this puzzle hinges on the engravings adorning the metal pyres. One depicts the Sun, another the Moon, and the third features the Earth. These celestial symbols are your key clues to cracking the code.
Check the left side of the room to find a note left by a golem. While it contains several lines, the crucial hint is the final one telling you to light the fires in the order that these celestial bodies came into existence.
Once you have that piece of context, the sequence makes perfect sense. The fires must be ignited in this exact order to unlock the bell mechanism:
- Start with the fire marked with the Sun, the oldest celestial body here.
- Next, light the fire with the Earth engraving.
- Finally, ignite the fire bearing the Moon, the youngest of the three.
When you’ve lit the fires correctly, they’ll remain blazing. Now, climb either via the scaffolding or use Emma’s hair abilities to scale upward. Interact with the bell at the top to ring it, which will open the path to the stage’s boss, Ushi. From there, it’s full steam ahead to face off and complete the encounter.
