ULTRAKILL is the kind of game where achievements are not just simple checklists. Some unlock naturally while progressing through the story, while others require mastery of movement, combat mechanics, hidden secrets, and even specific ending choices. With the TREACHERY update adding more late-game content, the achievement list has become much bigger and more challenging than before.

- Missable Achievement Warnings
This guide covers every achievement currently available in ULTRAKILL, including story unlocks, boss achievements, missable content, Prime Sanctums, Cybergrind goals, and the Platinum achievement. I’ll also explain the easiest ways to unlock them and point out the achievements that can permanently be missed if you are not careful.
And yes, massive spoilers ahead.
Story Achievements
Most story achievements unlock naturally while progressing through the campaign. If you are simply playing through levels normally, you will earn many of these without even trying.
Together, We Are ULTRAKILL
Unlock Requirement:
- Start the game
This achievement unlocks immediately after entering the PRELUDE for the first time. Basically impossible to miss.
I Have No Mouth, And I Must Kill
Unlock Requirement:
- Die for the first time
Considering how aggressive ULTRAKILL is, this achievement usually appears very early unless you are somehow already a speedrunning god.
Are You Even Trying?
Unlock Requirement:
- Die 100 times
Honestly, most players will eventually unlock this naturally. ULTRAKILL becomes brutally difficult later, especially during higher difficulties and optional content.
Do not feel bad about this achievement. Even experienced players die constantly while learning advanced movement and enemy patterns.
Devil Could Cry
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat every Husk enemy type
You do not need every variation of enemies for this achievement. Only the base enemy categories matter.
As long as you naturally progress through the game and fight most encounters, this unlocks automatically.
Arms Race
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat every Machine enemy type
Same idea as the previous achievement. Variants do not count separately.
Machine enemies become much more dangerous later once stronger versions begin appearing in larger groups.
Exorcism
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat every Demon enemy type
This unlocks naturally while progressing through later acts.
Be (Not) Afraid
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat every Angel enemy type
Angel enemies are far less common than Husks or Machines, so this achievement may unlock later than expected.
Supreme Machine
Unlock Requirement:
- Become an Uber Series Machine
This achievement requires:
- Defeating both V2 encounters
- Defeating V3
- Obtaining the Doctrine Yellow Arm from Gabriel in 9-1: DREAM OF FINLAND
This is one of the more important progression achievements because it ties directly into the game’s late-game story developments and weapon progression.
Boss Achievements
Most major bosses have their own achievements tied directly to defeating them.
Some are automatic story unlocks, while others can be missed depending on your decisions.
Seeing Double
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat V2 in 1-4: CLAIR DE LUNE
This is the first V2 fight and one of the biggest skill checks early in the game.
Learning movement, parrying, and aggression becomes essential here.
Reconstruct WHAT?!
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat V2 in 4-4: CLAIR DE SOLEIL
The second V2 fight is significantly harder than the first.
V2 becomes faster, more aggressive, and punishes hesitation much harder.
Honestly, this is usually the fight where players truly begin understanding ULTRAKILL combat flow.
Eat Your Greens (MISSABLE)
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat V3 in E-4: CLAIR DE ÉTOILE
This achievement is missable because E-levels are optional secret content.
If you skip exploring hidden stages, you may completely miss this boss.
RAISON D’ETRE
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat 1000-THR “Earthmover”
Unlocked during:
- 7-4: …LIKE ANTENNAS TO HEAVEN
This fight is massive both visually and mechanically. The Earthmover battle feels more like fighting a living war machine than a traditional boss.
You An Insignificant..
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat Gabriel, Judge of Hell
Unlocked during:
- 3-2: IN THE FLESH
Gabriel is one of the game’s most iconic fights and probably the first boss that forces players to fully master movement.
I Might Be Atheist
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat Gabriel, Apostate of Hate
Unlocked during:
- 6-2: AESTHETICS OF HATE
This version of Gabriel is significantly more dangerous and much faster than the earlier fight.
Aggressive play becomes almost mandatory here.
Golden Ratio (MISSABLE)
Unlock Requirement:
- Help Gabriel realize his folly
- Obtain the Doctrine Yellow Arm
This achievement is tied directly to story choices during the TREACHERY content.
Missing the correct sequence can permanently lock the achievement for that playthrough.
Paint The World RED (MISSABLE)
Unlock Requirement:
- Kill Gabriel and embrace endless slaughter
- Unlock the Bad Ending
Unlocked during:
- 9-2: ENIGMA OF HEAVEN: 9,999,999
This is one of the ending achievements and requires specific choices near the conclusion of the TREACHERY storyline.
Theatrical Finale (MISSABLE)
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat HELL ITSELF alongside Gabriel
- Unlock the Good Ending
Also unlocked during:
- 9-2: ENIGMA OF HEAVEN: 9,999,999
Unlike the Bad Ending, this route focuses on cooperation with Gabriel rather than total destruction.
Because both ending achievements are mutually exclusive during a single route, multiple playthroughs or reloads are recommended.
Collectibles And Secret Content
These achievements require exploration and completionist behavior rather than raw combat skill.
Collect ‘Em All
Unlock Requirement:
- Find every collectible in the game
ULTRAKILL hides many secrets extremely well. Some collectibles require careful observation, hidden paths, or advanced movement techniques.
Fully Strapped
Unlock Requirement:
- Collect all weapons and variants
This includes alternate weapon versions and hidden unlocks throughout the campaign.
Some variants are surprisingly easy to overlook if you rush levels.
Handshake
Unlock Requirement:
- Collect every arm variant
Important warning:
This achievement becomes missable if you kill Gabriel during 9-1: DREAM OF FINLAND.
If you want full completion, pay close attention during the TREACHERY story route.
P-Rank Achievements
P-Ranking is where ULTRAKILL becomes truly brutal.
To earn a P-Rank, you must achieve:
- S Rank in Style
- S Rank in Time
- S Rank in Kills
- Zero deaths
- No restarts
And yes, Encore stages count too.
Ooh, Shiny
Unlock Requirement:
- Earn your first P-Rank
Usually this happens during an earlier level once players fully understand movement routing and style chaining.
Touch Some Grass
Unlock Requirement:
- P-Rank every level
This is one of the hardest achievements in the entire game.
Some later levels become incredibly demanding because they require near-perfect movement and deep knowledge of enemy spawns.
Expect many retries.
Prime Sanctum Achievements
Prime Sanctums are optional ultra-hard boss stages unlocked through P-Ranking entire acts.
These fights are considered some of the hardest content in ULTRAKILL.
Forgive Me, My Children
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat Minos Prime
Unlocked in:
- P-1: SOUL SURVIVOR
Minos Prime is where many players realize just how difficult ULTRAKILL can become.
His speed and aggression are absolutely relentless.
You Shall Do As An Appetizer
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat Sisyphus Prime
Unlocked in:
- P-2: WAIT OF THE WORLD
Sisyphus Prime pushes difficulty even further.
This fight demands complete mastery of movement, parrying, and reaction timing.
Lucifer, My Love (SECRET ACHIEVEMENT)
Unlock Requirement:
- Defeat Lucifer Prime
Unlocked in:
- P-3: FALLEN FROM THE HEAVEN
Currently one of the most difficult encounters in the entire game.
This boss feels designed specifically for veteran players who already mastered every mechanic.
Cybergrind Achievements
Cybergrind is accessible directly from the main menu and acts as ULTRAKILL’s endless survival mode.
Cybergrinded
Unlock Requirement:
- Enter Cybergrind
You unlock this achievement immediately after dropping onto the platform for the first time.
Cybergore
Unlock Requirement:
- Reach Wave 999 in Cybergrind
This is probably one of the rarest achievements in the game.
Reaching Wave 999 requires absurd endurance, consistency, and skill.
Even top players struggle with this challenge.
Artistic Nature
Unlock Requirement:
- Visit the Developer Museum
To unlock this:
- Enter the museum
- Walk to the fountain near the start
Simple, but very easy to miss if you never explore menu extras.
Platinum Achievement
FREE WILL IS A FLAW
Unlock Requirement:
- Earn every achievement in ULTRAKILL
This is the true completionist achievement and easily one of the hardest Platinum-style achievements in modern shooters.
Between P-Ranks, Prime Sanctums, Cybergrind progression, hidden collectibles, and multiple endings, fully completing ULTRAKILL takes serious dedication.
Missable Achievement Warnings
Several achievements can permanently be missed depending on your choices:
- Eat Your Greens
- Golden Ratio
- Paint The World RED
- Theatrical Finale
- Handshake
If you are attempting 100% completion, it is highly recommended to keep backup saves before entering the TREACHERY finale sections.
ULTRAKILL’s achievement list perfectly matches the game itself: fast, difficult, chaotic, and incredibly rewarding once mastered.
Some achievements unlock naturally just from enjoying the story, while others demand near-total mastery of movement tech, combat systems, hidden secrets, and advanced mechanics. The TREACHERY update especially added much more replay value through alternate endings, late-game bosses, and additional missable content.
The hardest achievements honestly feel less like checklist objectives and more like proof that you truly learned how to play ULTRAKILL at its highest level.
