If you are trying to figure out which nets are actually worth using in Catch Bugs, this guide will help you out a lot. Some nets are only good for the first few minutes of the game, while others can carry you all the way into late game farming. I’m going through every important net tier by tier, explaining which ones are worth getting, where to find them, and which ones are honestly a waste of time once you progress further.

D Tier Nets

These are basically the starter nets. You only use them because you have no other choice early on, and you should replace them as soon as possible.

Flimsy Net

This is the default net everybody starts with. The stats are really bad, catches feel slow, and you will notice pretty quickly that stronger bugs become annoying to farm with it. It works for the very beginning, but you do not want to stay on this net for long.

Basic Net

You can buy this from Gary in Grasslands for only $10. It is slightly better than the Flimsy Net, but honestly not by much. It helps a little during the opening grind, especially against weaker bugs, but it still gets outdated very fast.

C Tier Nets

This is where progression starts feeling smoother. These nets are decent beginner upgrades that help you move through the early game much faster.

Steel Net

Bought from Gary in Grasslands, this is usually the first net where you actually feel a noticeable stat increase. It is not amazing, but it is definitely a step up from the starter options.

Lucky Net

This one focuses more on luck instead of raw catching power. If you want better chances while farming early bugs, this is a decent option.

Carbon Net

A pretty balanced beginner net overall. Nothing too crazy, but the speed improvements make catching feel smoother and more consistent.

Fast Net

As the name suggests, this net is mainly useful for quicker catches early in the game. It helps speed up farming sessions before you enter the stronger areas.

Spider Net

This comes from the starter pack for Robux. Performance-wise, it is pretty similar to the other beginner nets in this tier. It helps early on, but it is not something you will use long term.

Overall, none of these C Tier nets are game-changing, but they help you escape the weak early grind much faster.

B Tier Nets

This is the point where nets finally start feeling strong and reliable for longer progression.

Nature Net

You can get this from Axel in Crawwood, and honestly this is one of the best early progression nets in the game. The massive strength bonus inside forest areas makes farming in Crawwood way easier and much faster.

Royal Net

A solid balanced upgrade with good overall stats. It does not specialize too heavily into one thing, which makes it a comfortable all-around choice.

Demon Net

Sold by Zack in Deeproot Caves, this net gives a pretty noticeable performance jump compared to earlier options. It starts preparing you for proper midgame farming and feels much stronger during progression.

These nets are not endgame-level yet, but they are strong enough to carry you through a huge chunk of the game without struggling.

A Tier Nets

Now we get into the serious late game stuff. Most players are going to spend a lot of time using these nets because they are genuinely powerful.

Nuclear Net

Found in Deeproot Caves, this is one of the first massive upgrades you can unlock. The jump in performance compared to earlier nets feels huge.

Frosty Net

A very strong late game choice with solid overall performance. Definitely worth considering if you have the money for it.

Lightning Net

Another powerful option from Axel in Crawwood. Great stats and very reliable during late game grinding.

Hellfire Net

Also from Axel in Crawwood, this net performs extremely well and fits right into strong late game farming builds.

Toadstool Net

This one comes from Moon Hollow and is surprisingly powerful because of its huge buffs inside that biome. If you farm there a lot, this net becomes incredibly valuable.

Lunar Net

This net becomes much stronger during nighttime farming sessions, making it excellent if you usually grind during night cycles.

Black Hole Net

One of the better late game nets from Deeproot Caves with huge stat improvements across the board.

Dark Matter Net

Another extremely strong late game option from Deeproot Caves. It performs really well and feels like a proper high-end upgrade.

Dream Catcher Net

Found in Jewel Jungle, this net gets boosted inside jungle zones which makes it amazing for farming there efficiently.

Cactus Net

A super strong endgame net that performs well depending on your farming style and preferred areas.

Steampunk Net

Very solid late game stats and definitely one of the better choices if you want reliable overall performance.

Bone Net

This net is honestly kind of crazy because it gains a 40% higher mutation chance during nighttime. If you care about mutations, this becomes extremely valuable.

Scorpion Net

Another strong endgame option with excellent performance depending on how you like to play.

S Tier Nets

These are currently the absolute best nets in Catch Bugs. If you want the strongest possible gear in the game, this is where you aim.

Ancient Relic Net

This net is found inside the temple in Jewel Jungle, and it is completely insane.

It costs $800 million and comes with:

  • 50 Strength
  • Over 20,000% Luck
  • 250% Speed
  • 2,500 KG Max Weight

Even without special abilities, the raw stats alone make this one of the strongest nets in the entire game right now. If your goal is pure power, this is basically the king of all nets.

Bamboo Net

You can get this from Hikaru in Blossoming. It costs $220 million and gives:

  • 44 Strength
  • Over 14,000% Luck
  • 228% Speed
  • 1,450 KG Max Weight

What really makes this net special is the passive effect. It gets a 30% higher mutation chance during daytime, which makes it amazing for farming rare bugs and mutations efficiently.

Blossom Net

Also from Hikaru in Blossoming, this net has almost the exact same stats as Bamboo Net. The main difference is the passive ability.

Instead of mutation boosts, your luck increases by 50% during the morning. That makes it insanely strong for optimized farming sessions if you plan around time cycles

Right now, Ancient Relic Net is easily the strongest overall net in Catch Bugs if you only care about raw power and stats. But Bamboo Net and Blossom Net are both incredibly strong too depending on your farming style.

If you prefer mutation farming during the daytime, Bamboo Net is amazing. If you want massive luck boosts during morning farming sessions, Blossom Net is probably the better choice.

For newer players though, Nature Net and Demon Net are honestly some of the best progression nets you can get before entering true late game farming.
