If you’ve been dropping into Deadline Escape and wondering where all the bosses are hiding, you’re definitely not alone. The game doesn’t exactly point you toward them, and some of the best loot in the game is locked behind knowing where these bosses spawn and where their associated loot rooms are located.
What I’ve learned after exploring each map is that killing the boss is only part of the reward. The real value comes from clearing the area and grabbing the loot hidden nearby. Some of these locations can completely change the outcome of a run, especially when you’re hunting for higher-tier gear.
Here’s a complete breakdown of every currently known boss location, what loot you can expect, and whether the trip is worth the risk.
Warehouse Boss Location (Blade)
Blade is usually the first boss players become familiar with because his spawn location is relatively easy to find compared to some of the others.
Where to Find Blade
Blade spawns on the northwest side of the Warehouse map. Look for a building with a noticeable red light. He can appear inside the upstairs room marked by the light or directly below it.
The red light is the biggest giveaway, so once you know what you’re looking for, finding Blade becomes very straightforward.
Loot Near Blade
After dealing with Blade, make sure to search the nearby loot area. You’ll find:
- T1 Armory
- T1 Gear Crate
- Safe
The loot isn’t amazing compared to late-game areas, but it’s excellent for newer players who are still building up equipment and resources.
Is Blade Worth Farming?
Absolutely. Blade is one of the safest bosses to target early on. The fight is manageable, the location is easy to learn, and the loot provides a solid foundation for future runs.
Crossroads Boss Location (Viper)
Viper lives near one of the most recognizable landmarks on Crossroads, making him one of the easiest bosses to locate consistently.
Where to Find Viper
Head toward Bunker 4.
Viper typically spawns around the bunker area, so once you’ve learned the bunker’s position on the map, finding him becomes routine.
Loot Room Rewards
The standard rewards include:
- Safe
- T1 Weapon Crate
While these rewards aren’t spectacular, they’re still worth grabbing if you’re already operating around the bunker.
Bonus Loot With the Bunker 4 Key
This area becomes much more valuable if you have the Bunker 4 Key.
Inside you’ll find:
- T2 Armory Crate
- T2 Gear Locker
That extra loot significantly increases the value of the run and makes Viper a much more attractive farming target.
Is Viper Worth Farming?
Yes, especially if you own the Bunker 4 Key. The combination of decent loot and a nearby extraction point makes this one of the more efficient farming locations in the game.
Mall Boss Location (Shadow)
Shadow is where the rewards start becoming noticeably better.
Where to Find Shadow
Shadow can be found outside the main entrance of the Mall.
Approach the front of the building and move toward the left side while watching for:
- Red light
- Renegade markings
- Renegade flag
These landmarks indicate you’re moving in the right direction.
Loot Room Rewards
Shadow’s loot area contains:
- T2 Gear Crate
- T2 Armory
- Additional loot containers
There’s also a second T2 Gear Crate hidden beneath a camouflage net near the entrance. A lot of players miss this crate completely, so it’s worth taking an extra few seconds to check.
Is Shadow Worth Farming?
Definitely.
Shadow represents a major upgrade from the Warehouse and Crossroads bosses. The loot quality is better without introducing the extreme danger found on Deadrise.
Deadrise Boss Location (Bombshell)
Bombshell guards one of the best loot locations in the game.
Where to Find Bombshell
Travel to the Military Airbase on Deadrise.
More specifically, you’ll want to search the upper hangar section.
The biggest challenge isn’t finding Bombshell. It’s surviving the heavily defended airbase long enough to reach her.
Loot Room Rewards
The far-right hangar upstairs contains:
- T3 Ammo
- T3 Armory
- T3 Gear
This is where the loot starts getting seriously valuable.
Is Bombshell Worth Farming?
If you’re prepared for a fight, absolutely.
The Military Airbase is dangerous, but the rewards justify the risk. Players hunting for endgame gear should keep this location high on their priority list.
Deadrise Boss Location (Big Ink)
Big Ink offers some of the best overall loot opportunities on Deadrise.
Where to Find Big Ink
Head to the Dormitory building.
Big Ink spawns on the second floor in a room marked by a red light.
Once you reach the correct building, locating him is fairly easy.
Loot Room Rewards
Nearby you’ll find:
- T3 Ammo
- T3 Gear
- T3 Weapon Crate
This makes the area one of the best places in the game for upgrading weapons and armor.
Extra Loot Opportunities
One reason I always like checking Big Ink’s area is because there are several key-locked rooms nearby.
Bring:
- Numbered Keys
- Terrace Key
If you have the Press Key, you can also access the Press Room located nearby.
A single trip to this area can often produce more loot than several smaller runs elsewhere.
Is Big Ink Worth Farming?
Without a doubt.
Between the boss rewards, loot containers, and key rooms, Big Ink’s location is one of the most rewarding spots in Deadline Escape.
Deadrise Boss Location (BK)
BK controls arguably the most profitable area currently available.
Where to Find BK
Travel to the Construction Site on Deadrise.
Look for the building with a red light on the third floor.
BK can be found around the construction area or inside the building itself.
Loot Room Rewards
The top floor contains:
- 2x T3 Ammo Cans
- T3 Armory
- T3 Gear
Additional Basement Loot
Don’t leave after checking the upper floors.
The basement contains:
- T3 Weapon Crate
Many players overlook this extra loot, which is a mistake considering how valuable T3 weapon crates can be.
Is BK Worth Farming?
Yes, and it’s one of the best boss locations in the game.
The amount of loot packed into a single area is incredible. Whether you’re farming materials, armor, weapons, or ammunition, BK’s location consistently delivers.
Best Boss Farming Progression
For players working their way toward endgame gear, I recommend farming bosses in this order:
- Blade
- Viper
- Shadow
- Bombshell
- Big Ink
- BK
This progression follows both difficulty and loot quality, allowing you to steadily improve your gear before tackling the most dangerous locations.
One thing I’ve noticed while playing Deadline Escape is that many players focus entirely on killing the boss and then immediately moving on. That’s often where the biggest mistake happens.
The boss is only half the reward. The nearby loot rooms, safes, armories, and hidden crates are where the real profits come from. Taking an extra minute to thoroughly search these locations can easily turn an average run into one of your most profitable raids.
If you’re planning to farm bosses regularly, learn the loot rooms just as well as you learn the boss spawns. That’s where the best rewards are hiding.
