- The game offers a treasure trove of costumes scattered throughout its islands, each tied to specific challenges or locations. These are grouped in the order you encounter the islands, which makes tracking them pretty straightforward, even if some require backtracking to fully collect. The wardrobe screen may show out-of-order unlocks but rest assured, every outfit is accessible at some point.
- The Beach Top pops up in a treasure chest near the Stacked Outpost . Unlocking it requires quickly swimming through all the gold rings cluttering the water. Timing is key to crack this chest open.

Below is a list of every outfit in Demon Tides and which islands they are located on. I have sorted the islands into the order they appear in the game, separating them by area. Because I had to do some backtracking you may notice some inconsistencies in the gear screen screenshots as I went back for some early game costumes later in the game.
Keep in mind, once you unlock a costume you can buy alternate versions from the Hub endlessly. Because of this, only the base outfits are detailed here, streamlining the process of finding each initial unlock without confusion.

Chum Cosplay
At Smuggler’s Den, the Chum Cosplay outfit awaits inside a chest. Unlocking it means swimming through rings scattered in a set order, testing both memory and swimming skill.
Neon Drip
The Neon Drip outfit is stashed below the Trading Post. Unlocking this chest calls for running through a slew of rings, making it one of the more frantic parts of this island.
Privateer
You’ll find the Privateer outfit in a chest by the ships of the Merchant’s Fleet. To unlock it, locate and flip a concealed lever tucked behind nearby rocks — a classic environmental puzzle twist.
Witch’s Garb
The eerie Witch’s Garb chest lies within Jester’s Leviathan. It requires bombing two rock pillars, which themselves spawn after activating jack-in-a-boxes, adding a quirky layer to the unlocking process.
Serker Head-Gear
Serker Head-Gear is located atop the Red Forest island’s second area, rewarding careful platforming to reach the very peak of the environment.
