Nessie is one of the rarest fish families in Roblox Fisch, and the FischFright 3 event introduces three special variants for players to catch. These include Plush Nessie, Zombie Nessie, and Ghoul Nessie. Each variant has its own requirements, so you cannot obtain all three by simply fishing in the same location.

Plush Nessie is the easiest to get because you can obtain it through Trick or Treating or fishing in a Frightpool. Meanwhile, Zombie Nessie and Ghoul Nessie require players to activate special rituals at the Cemetery and meet several conditions before their fishing pools become available. Here is how to get all three Nessie variants in FischFright 3.

Plush Nessie offers the simplest introduction to the Nessie family during FischFright 3. You can acquire it either by taking part in the seasonal Trick or Treat event around Caustic Hallow or by angling in any Frightpool. This flexibility makes Plush Nessie a solid first target.

Plush Nessie is the easiest variant to obtain during FischFright 3 because there are two ways to get it. You can either participate in the Trick or Treat event around Caustic Hallow or catch it by fishing in a Frightpool. Both methods are available during the event, but Trick or Treating is a good option if you have a high-tier mask.

The first method is Trick or Treating, which rewards you randomly depending on your mask tier. For those aiming to maximize drop chances, purchasing a high-tier mask from the Dutchman Merchant is key. You’ll find this NPC aboard the Flying Dutchman ship that drifts near Caustic Hallow. Top choices include the Leviathan Mask , costing 10 Treats, and the Mossjaw Mask , for 1,500 Treats.

To improve your chances of getting Plush Nessie from Trick or Treating, purchase and equip a high-tier mask. You can buy masks from the Dutchman Merchant NPC, who appears aboard the Flying Dutchman ship roaming around Caustic Hallow.

Once properly geared, visit houses scattered around the island to participate in Trick or Treat. The better your mask, the higher the odds of landing Plush Nessie, although it may take a few rounds before it finally shows up.

  • Leviathan Mask: Costs 10 Treats.
  • Mossjaw Mask: Costs 1,500 Treats.

After purchasing a mask, equip it and visit houses around the island to participate in Trick or Treating. Better masks can improve your chances of receiving rare rewards, including Plush Nessie.

Keep visiting houses until you obtain the fish. Since it is a rare reward, you might need several attempts before it appears.

Method 2: Catch Plush Nessie in a Frightpool

Fishing for Plush Nessie works as a solid alternative. To meet its conditions, you’ll need to fish in any Frightpool during autumn using Sour Jelly Candy as bait. Weather and time don’t influence the catch here, so any moment in the event’s autumn season will do.

Use the following setup when fishing for Plush Nessie:

  • Location: Any Frightpool
  • Weather: None
  • Time: Any time
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

Make sure you have Sour Jelly Candy before starting. While this method gives you another way to obtain Plush Nessie, you may find Trick or Treating more convenient if you already own a high-tier mask.

Moving on to Zombie Nessie , your journey gets a bit more involved. Unlocking this variant means activating the Haunted Cemetery Ritual, which in turn requires completing the Enhanced Boglin Ritual and accumulating a specific set of items.

Zombie Nessie requires players to activate the Haunted Cemetery Ritual. Unlike Plush Nessie, you cannot obtain it simply by visiting a regular fishing location. You must first complete the required progression, gather specific items, and activate the ritual to access the Haunted Cemetery.

Requirements for the Haunted Cemetery Ritual

You must have passed through crucial pre-rituals: the Hexed, Scary Relic, Haunted, Jack-o-Moon, Boglin, Dutchman’s Blessing, and finally the Enhanced Boglin Ritual. Once that’s done, gather:

  • 2 Hex Stage
  • 4 Awakened Skeletal Hands

Here are the requirements for activating the Zombie Nessie ritual:

  • Complete one Enhanced Boglin Ritual.
  • Obtain 2 Hex Stage.
  • Obtain 4 Awakened Skeletal Hands.

Jack-o-Lantern items:

For the Jack-o-Lantern components, collect 1 each of: Dirty Candy Corn, Crushed Bone, Strange Root, Giant Mushroom, Spider Eye, Bat Wing, and Raven Feather.

Skeletal Hands fish requirements:

The Skeletal Hands category requires 1 Grim Skull, 1 Vile Skull, 1 Doomed Skull, and 1 Dobhar. These items are essential to completing the ritual and unlocking access to the Haunted Cemetery.

Activating the Haunted Cemetery Ritual at the Cemetery Grounds teleports you to a new area where you can work toward spawning the Zombie Nessie pool by collecting and depositing Haunted Bones into the communal cauldron.

How to Spawn the Zombie Nessie Pool

After arriving at the Haunted Cemetery, search the area for Haunted Bones. Collect these items and deposit them into the Haunted Cauldron located in the center of the area.

Once fellow players and you have deposited 15 Haunted Bones in total, the pool appears. To increase your chances of landing Zombie Nessie, fish at night in autumn under Jack-o-Moon weather using Black Licorice as bait.

Use the following fishing conditions to improve your chances:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Black Licorice

If you’re struggling to get Jack-o-Moon weather naturally, the Dutchman Merchant offers a Jack-o-Moon Totem for 15,000 Treats which forces this condition, enhancing your likelihood of success.

Remember that spawning the pool does not guarantee an immediate catch. Keep fishing with Black Licorice and make sure the weather, time, and season match the requirements.

How to Get Ghoul Nessie in FischFright 3

Ghoul Nessie represents the ultimate challenge among the Nessie variants. You can summon it either via the Ghoul Nessie Ritual at the Cemetery or by attending the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event, appearing weekly on servers.

Since the Admin Event only runs once a week, preparing for the ritual is a more practical option if you want to actively pursue Ghoul Nessie.

Requirements for the Ghoul Nessie Ritual

To unlock the ritual, you’ll need to have completed an Omniscient Ritual and collected rare items previously:

  • 2 Hex Stage
  • 5 Awakened Skeletal Hands

Prepare the following items:

  • Complete one Omniscient Ritual.
  • Obtain 2 Hex Stage.
  • Obtain 5 Awakened Skeletal Hands.

Jack-o-Lantern items:

Jack-o-Lantern ingredients are the same as for Zombie Nessie: one each of Dirty Candy Corn, Crushed Bone, Strange Root, Giant Mushroom, Spider Eye, Bat Wing, and Raven Feather. Additionally, you’ll need 3 Dark Art Skull items for the destroyed Jack-o-Lantern requirement.

Destroyed Jack-o-Lantern requirements:

  • 3 Dark Art Skull items.

Skeletal Hands fish requirements:

The Skeletal Hands fish group for Ghoul Nessie requires 1 Grim Skull, 1 Vile Skull, 1 Doomed Skull, 1 Eldritch Skull, and the rare Omniscient-mutated Dobhar. These materials are tough to gather, so having a plan before approaching the ritual saves time and frustration.

Gather all the required materials before heading to the Cemetery. Since Ghoul Nessie requires an Omniscient Ritual and additional rare fish, preparing everything in advance can save you from repeatedly returning to collect missing items.

How to Catch Ghoul Nessie

Once ready, activate the ritual at the Cemetery to access the Haunted Cemetery. Fish during autumn nights with Jack-o-Moon weather, using Sour Jelly Candy bait to stand the best chance of catching Ghoul Nessie.

Before fishing, make sure you have the correct bait and environmental conditions. Ghoul Nessie prefers the following setup:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

You can purchase a Jack-o-Lantern Totem from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats to help obtain the preferred weather condition. Make sure you use Sour Jelly Candy for Ghoul Nessie, as its preferred bait differs from the Black Licorice required for Zombie Nessie.

If the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event becomes available in your server, you can also use that opportunity to pursue Ghoul Nessie without relying entirely on the ritual route.

Comparing all three Nessie types highlights their differences clearly: Plush Nessie is the easiest, perfect for newcomers or casual participants. Zombie Nessie demands steady progress and teamwork, while Ghoul Nessie tests the dedication of veteran players willing to collect rare items and tackle more complex rituals.

Each Nessie variant has a different acquisition method, so choosing the right approach depends on your current progress in FischFright 3.

  • Plush Nessie: The easiest option for most players. Obtain it through Trick or Treating with a high-tier mask or fish for it in any Frightpool using Sour Jelly Candy.
  • Zombie Nessie: Requires the Haunted Cemetery Ritual, a contribution of 15 Haunted Bones to the cauldron, and the correct fishing conditions.
  • Ghoul Nessie: Requires the Omniscient Ritual and additional rare items, including an Omniscient-mutated Dobhar. You can also try obtaining it during the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event.

If you are new to the event, start with Plush Nessie before working toward the more demanding ritual-based variants. Players who have already progressed through the Cemetery rituals can focus on gathering the materials needed for Zombie Nessie and Ghoul Nessie.
