On May 2, 2026, Arc System Works dropped a fresh trailer for the upcoming Marvel Tokon fighting game, spotlighting the Fighting Avengers team and revealing two intriguing new roster additions.

The trailer introduced the Incredible Hulk and Black Panther. Hulk’s look pulls directly from the Planet Hulk saga, featuring gladiator-style shorts decorated with skulls that emphasize his brutal legacy.

Watching the Hulk in action, you immediately notice his heavy, lumbering attacks designed to crush opponents with overwhelming force, perfect for dominating health bars.

Unlike many iterations, the Black Panther here isn’t T’Challa but his sister, Shuri, staying true to her comic book design. Her presence adds a fresh dynamic to the roster.

Black Panther’s combat style is a stark contrast to Hulk’s – fast, acrobatic moves combined with a versatile staff for mid-range attacks that keep foes constantly adjusting.

The fight stage unveiled perfectly complements these characters: the battle unfolds in Wakanda, with palace guards observing the intense duel, grounding the fight in iconic Marvel lore.

Hulk’s inclusion wasn’t a surprise given his frequent appearances in Marvel fighting games, but Shuri joining as Black Panther is a welcome twist, previously seen only in 2017’s Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.

The trailer also revisits Iron Man and Captain America, confirming them as core members of the Fighting Avengers roster showcased in earlier teasers.

The full Fighting Avengers trailer from Arc System Works brings all this action together, hinting at the game’s depth and excitement.

Marvel Tokon is slated to launch on August 6, 2026, exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Steam platforms.
