Begin the quest by travelling into Hallowgrove in Chaos Mode.
Dew believes the horrifying soul experiments are the key to discovering the mastermind responsible for the recent events. Throughout the forest, you must search for clues left behind by these experiments while defeating the grotesque creatures created through forbidden rituals.
Among the most disturbing enemies are twisted aberrations created by stitching together the souls of chanting followers and song thrushes. These unnatural creatures sing haunting hymns that strengthen nearby monsters, making battles significantly more dangerous. Defeat these enemies and collect the evidence they carry to progress the investigation.
As more clues are gathered, the truth gradually becomes clear. The Velgr attempted to merge countless souls into a single body in hopes of creating a new lifeform capable of containing a multitude of spirits. However, the stitched souls never truly became one, causing every experiment to collapse into endless suffering, madness, and failure. The investigation also reveals that someone has been directing these experiments from the shadows.
Report to Dew
Return to Dew at Winds’ Rest after collecting enough evidence.
Using the traces left within the fate rifts, Dew uncovers a shocking discovery. Deep inside the Divine Anchor, she finds a woman imprisoned for countless years. Her identity is finally revealed as the Prayer of the Moon, a legendary priestess who disappeared long ago from Brandrgarde.
The revelation confirms that the soul experiments were connected to something far greater than anyone had imagined.
Defeat Cursed Moonwane
Your next objective is to return to Hallowgrove in Chaos Mode and defeat the Einherjar Cursed Moonwane.
The creature represents the horrifying result of years of forbidden experiments. The Prayer of the Moon and the Archwizard willingly bound themselves to the Divine Anchor, using both souls and living flesh to sustain an experiment that defied the will of the gods themselves.
Their ultimate goal was to create a False God, an artificial divine being capable of replacing the fallen gods. The experiment came astonishingly close to success, producing what was described as an almost perfect embryo. Only an assassination on the night of its completion prevented the False God from fully entering the world.
Defeat Cursed Moonwane to put an end to this corrupted creation and complete Dew’s mission.

Return to Dew after defeating Cursed Moonwane.
Inside the soul space connected to the Divine Anchor, echoes of its creators still remain. Dew successfully summons phantom memories of the ancient priestesses, allowing you to witness fragments of the past. During these visions, another forgotten priestess is mentioned, hinting that the mystery surrounding the Divine Anchor is far from over.

Speak with Dew one final time to conclude the quest.
After piecing together every clue, Dew explains the complete truth behind the forbidden experiments. Long after the original gods disappeared, desperate mortals attempted to fill the void by using souls, fate, and the power of the Divine Anchor to create an entirely new deity.
Rather than saving the world, their ambition led to catastrophe. Every attempt to claim divine authority resulted in unimaginable suffering and countless failed experiments.
Although Cursed Moonwane has been defeated and the immediate threat has ended, Dew warns that only the outermost layer of the mystery has been uncovered. The true force responsible for these events still lurks within the darkness, silently watching and waiting.
