Gacha in Neverness to Everness looks confusing at first, but once you get past the visuals, it’s actually one of the more generous systems out there.

Instead of the usual “press 10-pull and pray,” the game turns everything into a board game-style system called Scarborough Fair. It feels different, but under the hood, it’s still about understanding rates, pity, and planning your pulls properly.

Neverness to Everness Gacha Guide – Pity, Rates

Every pull is a dice roll.

  • You roll dice
  • Your piece moves across a board
  • Wherever you land = your reward

Rewards include:

  • Characters
  • Arcs (weapons)
  • Currency
  • Skins
  • Extra rolls

It looks interactive, but the outcome is still based on drop rates. The board just makes the process more engaging.

Gacha Currency (What You Actually Use)

You’ll be dealing with a few key currencies:

  • Annulith → main premium currency
  • Solid Dice → limited banner pulls
  • Fabricated Dice → standard banner pulls
  • Tri-Keys → weapon (Arc) banner

Cost is simple:

  • 1 pull = 160 Annulith
  • 10 pulls = 1,600 Annulith

Limited Banner (Best Place to Spend)

This is where most players should focus.

Key Highlights:

  • No 50/50 system
  • S-class pull is always the featured character
  • Base rate: 1.87%
  • Hard pity: 90 pulls

That alone makes it much friendlier than most gacha games.

Board Modification (The Real Pity System)

At 70 pulls, something important happens:

  • S-class rate jumps to 19.59%
  • Board changes to include guaranteed S-class tiles

This isn’t gradual soft pity. It’s a sudden spike.

Most players will get their character between:

  • 70–85 pulls

Very few actually reach 90.

Does Pity Carry Over? (Yes, and This Is Huge)

Here’s where the system becomes very player-friendly.

Character Pity

  • Carries over between all limited banners

Example:

  • 65 pulls on one banner
  • Next banner starts at 65/90

You don’t lose progress.

Standard Banner Pity

  • Permanent
  • Never resets

Weapon Banner (Arc Research)

  • Also carries over

Cosmetics (Exception)

  • Does NOT carry between banners
  • But DOES return when banner reruns

Board Tiles Explained (What You Can Land On)

The board isn’t just random rewards. Some tiles are better than others.

Common Tiles

  • Apprentice Chest → usually low-tier rewards
  • Hero Chest → higher chance at S-class

Important Tiles

  • Character Tiles → guaranteed specific character
  • Arc Boxes → random A-class weapon
  • Card Tiles → guaranteed A or S item
  • Roll Again → free pull

Special Mechanics

  • Guardian (Slumberland)
    • Chase mechanic
    • Rewards large currency if caught
  • Secret Fair
    • Bonus area
    • Better rewards
    • Includes skins, dice, and S-class tiles

Standard Banner (When to Use It)

This banner is more of a long-term investment.

Key Features:

  • Same pity system (90 pulls)
  • Beginner discount (first 50 pulls cheaper)
  • Free S-class selector after 50 pulls

You can choose from:

  • Sakiri
  • Daffodil
  • Baicang
  • Jiuyuan
  • Fadia
  • Hathor

Best strategy:

  • Wait until you know what you need before picking

Weapon Banner (Arc Research Program)

This one works differently.

Rates:

  • S-class Arc: 3%
  • Guaranteed S-class: 60 pulls
  • Guaranteed featured: 80 pulls

This is cheaper than most games.

But still:

Only pull here if:

  • You already have your main characters
  • You want to optimize builds

Warp Pieces & Lost Pieces (Hidden Value System)

Duplicates aren’t wasted.

They convert into:

  • Warp Pieces → used for premium shop items
  • Lost Pieces → used for monthly pulls

Monthly Priority (Do Not Skip This)

Use Lost Pieces to buy:

  • 5 Limited pulls
  • 5 Standard pulls
  • 20 Tri-Keys

This is basically free value every month.

Cosmetic Milestones (Optional but Expensive)

Each banner has skins at:

  • 50 pulls
  • 120 pulls
  • 200 pulls

Important:

  • Doesn’t carry to other banners
  • Only returns if the banner reruns

This is where most monetization sits.

Good news:

  • Completely optional
  • No gameplay impact

The gacha system in Neverness to Everness looks flashy, but it’s surprisingly straightforward once you understand it.

No 50/50.
Strong pity system.
Carryover between banners.

That combination makes it one of the more forgiving systems out there, especially if you plan your pulls instead of rolling blindly.
