We’re back with more Shiba Story Go, and this time we’re going straight into a beginner guide. This is part one, and we’re focusing only on the core stuff you actually need to understand early on.

Contents
  • Talents
  • How to Spend Talent Points Properly
  • Getting More Gold and Energy
  • Pets
  • Pet Level Strategy (Important)
  • Mounts
  • Fortune Tower and Raids
  • Gear
  • Tower
  • Core Loop You Should Follow

Let’s start with the biggest one.

Talents

First thing you want to look at is your talents.

This is where most of your early power comes from, and the only thing you really need for it is gold. The problem is, you’re going to run out of gold pretty fast. You’ll see a lot of red numbers showing you can’t upgrade, and yeah, you can use gems, but I wouldn’t recommend that.

There are better ways to get gold.

If you scroll down past purchases, you’ll see things like:

  • Adventure
  • Fast Travel

Fast travel is the one you want to hit.

Your rewards here are based on your highest chapter completed, so the further you push, the more gold you get. That’s important.

Do a batch run like 25 if you can, and you’ll see your gold jump up quickly.

How to Spend Talent Points Properly

Once you’ve got gold, don’t just randomly upgrade everything.

The order I always follow:

  1. Attack
  2. HP
  3. Defense

Attack gives you the biggest impact early, so always start there.

You’ll also hit milestones while upgrading. For example:

  • Increased gold rewards
  • Boosted stats overall

You’ll see a meter filling up at the top, and once that fills, you rank up your hound level, which gives a solid boost across the board.

Getting More Gold and Energy

If you’re short on energy, you can:

  • Claim daily free rewards
  • Watch ads
  • Use diamonds if you really need to

There’s also the Fast Pass, which speeds things up and gives:

  • Faster travel
  • Extra dungeon runs
  • Daily rewards
  • 200 gems + 50 energy daily

You don’t have to buy it, but if you do spend, this is actually useful.

Pets

Next up is pets, and this is another big stat boost system.

Higher rarity pets are just better. That’s it. They scale better and give stronger bonuses.

You can:

  • Open eggs
  • Watch ads for more
  • Use gems if you want

But the main thing is farming eggs over time.

The more you open, the higher your summon level, and that increases your chances of getting better rarity pets.

Pet Level Strategy (Important)

You’ll notice your pets are all over the place level-wise.

Here’s what you want to do:

  • Get pets to level 5, 10, and 15
  • These levels give bonus stats, even if the pet isn’t equipped

For example:

  • Level 10 might give extra HP
  • Level 5 might give attack %

Even pets you’re not using still help you.

For your main pets (the ones equipped), keep those at the highest level possible, since they fight with you and scale directly.

Mounts

Now let’s talk about mounts.

You might already have one like the Chatacorn, but even if you’re riding it, you still need to upgrade it.

Mounts give:

  • Attack
  • Defense
  • Max HP
  • Dodge

That dodge stat is actually huge. It lets you avoid damage completely.

To upgrade mounts, you’ll need materials like riding saddles.

You can get those from:

  • Raids
  • Fortune Tower
  • Shop

Fortune Tower and Raids

Fortune Tower is basically a gamble system.

You might get:

  • Pet upgrade currency
  • Eggs
  • Mount materials

Raids are more consistent.

Run raids with teammates or guild members, and you’ll get materials over time. It’s not always fast, but it adds up.

Gear

Now for gear, this is where a lot of people mess up.

Here’s the order you should follow:

  1. Weapon → gives attack
  2. Armor → gives HP
  3. Rings → attack + defense
  4. Accessories → HP + defense

Attack matters the most early, so always prioritize your weapon first.

If you make a mistake, don’t worry. You can refund materials and move them elsewhere.

Tower

If you want upgrade materials, you need to run the tower.

This gives you:

  • Copper ingots
  • Iron ingots
  • Upgrade materials for gear

Every 10 levels, you get a chest that helps you break into the next tier.

For example:

  • Level 20 → Level 21 requires better materials
  • You get those from tower rewards

So make sure you’re doing this daily.

Core Loop You Should Follow

If you’re just starting out, your focus should be:

  • Upgrade talents with gold
  • Farm fast travel rewards
  • Open pet eggs and level them smartly
  • Upgrade your mount when possible
  • Prioritize weapon upgrades
  • Run tower daily
  • Do raids whenever you can

That’s the core of the game.
