Sumatra Reserve – Bronze
Start by photographing all branded equipment, then remove every bit of it to clear the way for the ecosystem overhaul. Expand the lowland rainforest ecosystem zone, adding essential ground cover like grass, ferns, tree litter, and rocky patches. If terrain requirements are unmet, simply enlarge the zone to ensure everything fits perfectly.
Release the gifted long-tailed parakeet family by first placing a captivity nest, which is necessary for their spawning. Then revive the peatland ecosystem over the degraded land by adjusting the ecosystem zone accordingly. Afterward, introduce the solitary Malayan tapir males into their designated habitats.
Establish the river ecosystem by creatively sculpting the terrain—dig down using terrain tools and add water to form a suitable environment. Once set, release the gifted otters to bring life to this aquatic zone.
Java – Bronze
Research upgrades for the Saltwater Crocodile and Malayan Tapir to level 3, unlocking the ability to create release groups for them. Form a solitary male release group for the crocodiles while setting up a maternal group for the existing tapirs in your zoo.
Relocate the sun bear to the habitat formerly housing the crocodile, place the Siamang in a medium-sized rainforest habitat, and assign the Tapir to a smaller rainforest area.
Attend to each new inhabitant’s needs: equip the sun bear’s enclosure with toys and food enrichment while adding extra soil to optimize terrain. For the tapir, a little more soil is sufficient to meet its comfort requirements.
Siamangs demand extra care—add toys, food enrichment items, and adjust the terrain ratio. A medium constructed shelter solves the common Navigable Shelter Area problem, ensuring their welfare remains high.
Expand facilities by building a restaurant, and customize staff uniforms from the info panel to slim down your management tasks. Boost food profits by adding about four more food stalls along with a couple of vending machines throughout the zoo.
Work on your zoo’s reputation by enhancing the welfare of your animals, starting with the leopard sharks in the aquarium. Low guest education levels require you to add educational boards and talks, while thirst issues call for more drink stalls. Placing recycling bins will also improve the zoo’s sustainability rating.
Rural France – Bronze
Install six donation bins, plus a Nature’s Keepers shop where guests can purchase animal adoption packs. Increase donation revenue to 10,000 by adding a few more bins near popular animal viewing spots.
Adopt two Binturongs and house them with the zoo’s beavers—just reduce the rocky terrain slightly to suit their habitat needs. Make sure their welfare reaches 100 percent to secure their happiness.
Position two conversation boards close to the Binturong enclosure, assigning them topics like Habitat Loss and Population Fragmentation. Complement this with a nearby speaker set to rainforest ambience. Complete a Binturong conversation project to maximize guest education.
Create two animal talk points within your zoo, placing seating for guests. Hire educators and connect the seating areas to these talk points to facilitate engaging lectures and increase visitor interaction.
Raise guest education to three stars by continuing to enhance educational facilities and animal talks, cementing your zoo’s status as a top-tier conservation center.
Chapter three marks a significant phase in Planet Zoo 2’s focus on conservation and guest education. Keep an eye out for updates to refine your approach even further, and explore additional resources to expand your mastery of the game’s ecosystem management challenges.
