Quarantine Zone: The Last Check throws you into a tense survival scenario where every inspection and decision can mean the difference between life and death. As you manage the checkpoint’s operations, achievements serve as milestones marking your growth and expertise. Knowing exactly how to unlock these accolades can turn a tough playthrough into a satisfying, complete experience.

All Achievements List

Tooling Up

Requirement: Obtain your first inspection tool.

Early on your first day, grab the flashlight sitting on the desk. You can toggle it by pressing F. This is your first essential tool for inspections and marks the initial achievement.

First Time, Huh?

Requirement: Complete your first day.

Once you’ve finished all the inspections, head over to your bed and press E to sleep. This will end your day and unlock the corresponding achievement.

City Builder

Requirement: Upgrade a building within the survivors’ block.

By Day 4, you’ll learn how to upgrade buildings. Press B to enter Base mode, select any building, and navigate to the Upgrades tab on the far right. Hold the build button to confirm the upgrade. If funds are insufficient, options will appear in red, preventing the upgrade.

Evacuator

Requirement: Meet the evacuation quota.

Evacuation cycles appear roughly every five days and require you to send a set number of survivors away. The quota and days remaining display in the top-left corner. Early attempts are easier, so prioritize meeting this quota during the first few cycles.

If you exceed the quota, you can keep extra survivors for subsequent evacuations, as rewards only come from sending groups of five or more to Science or Military trucks.

Light My Fire

Requirement: Clear the quarantine cell of its infection for the first time.

Once an individual in quarantine becomes a zombie, you’ll need to cleanse the cell, which unlocks this achievement.

Finders Keepers

Requirement: Confiscate contraband items.

From Day 6 onwards, you can inspect bags for illegal goods like weapons or drugs. Confiscating any contraband grants you a $100 bonus, so keep an eye on suspicious items.

I Can Read (Hidden)

Requirement: Complete at least one task from the bulletin board.

Starting Day 7, daily missions will appear. Although you might miss the first, you’ll have ample opportunities to complete them later. These missions usually involve identifying or managing specific survivors based on clues.

For example, the first task asks you to find a survivor named Solomon. Pay close attention to bolded names in missions; checking symptoms and names during inspections will help pinpoint your target.

Following instructions carefully ensures success—sending Solomon to quarantine unlocked both the task reward and the hidden achievement for me.

Yeah! Science! B…aby!

Requirement: Research a symptom in the laboratory.

The laboratory becomes available on Day 8. When researching, focus on extracting the green organ to unlock new symptoms. Avoid picking the red organs and clear away yellow or orange ones to access the target organ.

Use left-click to remove obstacles and hold E to extract organs. There’s a timer, but even if you run out, successfully extracting the green organ still counts and can earn extra rewards if done quickly.

Headhunter

Requirement: Eliminate a contract target listed on the bulletin board.

On Day 11, a contract target wielding only chainsaws will appear. Although several survivors may carry contraband weapons, this particular target stands out with two chainsaws (one being collectible). At this stage, elimination means sending the target to Liquidation.

Perfect Day

Requirement: Achieve a perfect inspection by scoring Exceptional on every check in a single day.

Inspection ratings range from Exceptional to Competent or Poor. Aim for over 75% symptom accuracy to hit Exceptional. Early days are best for this challenge due to simpler symptoms.

Day 2 is ideal to attempt a perfect day since symptoms are fewer and easier to diagnose quickly.

Tips for a perfect inspection:

  • Not all skin discolorations count as bruises; look for obvious marks.
  • Inspect both sides of the hands carefully.
  • Multiple faint scratches constitute scratches; a single line usually does not.

Ain’t That a Kick? (Hidden)

Requirement: Knock out a survivor with the medical hammer.

You can lightly knock survivors out by hitting them on the head with the hammer, but they’ll simply get up afterwards, so don’t worry about failing the day. If you prefer, use infected survivors to avoid guilt.

Safety First (Hidden)

Requirement: Use an inspection tool on a checkpoint staff member.

Once you receive the thermometer on Day 1, use it on any staff member—guards or colleagues like Georgie—to unlock this achievement quickly.

Jackpot!

Requirement: Accumulate $50,000 total earnings.

This total counts progressively throughout the game. Spend freely on upgrades; the achievement tracks total earnings, not current balance.

Reliable income sources include collectibles, outstanding inspections, appropriate survivor dispatch, and confiscating contraband.

Certified Next-Shouter

Requirement: Shout “Next” 100 times.

This achievement will unlock naturally as you manage inspections each day, typically by around Day 13.

Watch Them Closely From Now On

Requirement: Eliminate a survivor who attacks you.

On Day 13, you receive a gun. If an inspection survivor attacks during your turn, neutralize the threat with a headshot. Only your action or security guard assistance stops the aggression.

“Eliminate” here means to kill the attacker; do not confuse with sending survivors to Liquidation.

Can’t Touch This (Hidden)

Requirement: Confiscate a zombie body part.

After bag checks unlock, some survivors might carry zombie body parts. Confiscating these results in a small fine but is necessary for the achievement.

Janitor

Requirement: Kill a rat.

Post-gun acquisition, hunt for rats near the checkpoint. Aim carefully as they move quickly. Each rat killed nets you $25.

Dinner Is Served

Requirement: Feed the zombie inside its cage.

On Day 10, the mission “Hi, Doggy” teaches you to feed the caged zombie. Proceed cautiously to avoid bugs. Upgrading the cage later lets it feed automatically.

Under My Skin

Requirement: Confiscate contraband concealed internally.
