RIG Riot Hidden Weapons Guide – Locations

RIG Riot spices up combat by rewarding players who stray from default gear with powerful hidden weapons. These secret finds are scattered across tutorials, arenas, and missions, inviting players to explore every corner of the game’s arenas to expand their arsenals and claim unique achievements.

You can easily spot some of them by exploring the map, while others are tucked away in hard-to-reach places. Here’s the location of all hidden weapons in RIG Riot and the achievement you unlock after finding it.

There From The Start: Near the end of the tutorial level, head to the back-right corner of the area and look beneath the platform. The weapon rests on the ground tucked away from easy sight. Picking it up will unlock the Straight and Narrow achievement.

You can find this weapon near the end of the tutorial level.

Go to the back-right corner of the area and look underneath the platform. The weapon can be found sitting on the ground below it.

Once you pick it up, the Straight and Narrow achievement will also be unlocked.

Down Range

Down Range: In the firing range, this weapon perches high above the extraction pad. Reaching it requires skilled use of your boosters to ascend to the top of the skybox. Claiming this weapon grants the Sunshower achievement.

Check near the top of the skybox, just above the extraction area. You’ll need good boosters to reach this weapon.

We Got Encaged!: Within the Bandit Cage Match arena, after spawning, immediately take a right and make your way to the opposite end. Look underneath the collapsed building to find this elusive weapon. Collecting it unlocks Propagator.

When you spawn, take a right and head toward the opposite end of the arena. Look underneath the collapsed building to find this secret weapon.

You can also unlock the Propagator achievement after picking this weapon.

Cut Corner

Cut Corner: Found in the Corporate Crossroads arena, this weapon is set at ground level in the map’s back corner. It’s noticeable once you reach the area. Unlock the Rainstorm achievement upon pickup.

Head toward the back corner of the map. The weapon is sitting at ground level, so you can spot it once you reach the area.

Collecting it also unlocks Rainstorm.

Box Cutter

Box Cutter: Located inside the militia holding cell, shortly after spawning look behind the back-right pillar. This weapon is easy to miss during fast movement through the area. Picking it up grants the Folding Blade achievement.

Precarious Situation: In The Wastes, from your spawn point, gaze across to a small village. At the village’s rear, four explosive barrels conceal the weapon behind them. Securing it unlocks the KRS Plasma Cannon achievement.

Picking it up unlocks the folding blade.

You can find this weapon in The Wastes.

From the spawn point, look toward the opposite side of the area. You’ll find a small village with four explosive barrels at the back.

The weapon is hidden behind the barrels.

Collecting it unlocks the KRS Plasma Cannon.

For Safekeeping

For Safekeeping: In The Facility, travel from the ground-level spawn toward the opposite end where a long road stretches between two ramps. The weapon is hidden underneath this road, opposite the wall. Collecting it will unlock Energy Revolver.

From the ground-level spawn, go toward the opposite side until you reach a long road with a ramp at both ends.

Go underneath the far side of the road and check the area opposite the wall. The weapon is hidden underneath the road.

Achievement unlocked: Energy Revolver.

Lost In Transit

Lost In Transit: Found in The Prison on top of cargo boxes. Spawn in the lowermost circular section and look for cargo with three stacks of long crates in front. The weapon rests atop these crates. Picking it up grants the Armageddon achievement.

Stay in the section where you spawn, which is the lowermost circle on the map. Look for a pile of cargo boxes with three stacks of long crates in front of it.

The hidden weapon is on top of those cargo boxes.

Achievement unlocked: Armageddon.

Busted

Busted: In The Guts, find the second-lowest platform marked by a large pillar. The weapon is hidden behind this pillar on a small platform. Collect it to unlock the Mega Launcher.

Look for the second-lowest platform on the map. A large pillar is positioned there, and the weapon is hidden behind it on a small platform.

Once you collect it, you unlock the Mega Launcher.

Overwhelming Power

Overwhelming Power: The final hidden weapon appears in The Nexus but only after completing all main objectives and defeating the boss fight at the map’s center. Post-battle, the weapon drops from the small rig you defeated, unlocking the Siege Cannon achievement.

Go through The Nexus and complete all the major objectives. Then head to the center of the map and complete the boss fight.

After the fight and the following light show, the weapon will drop onto the ground from the small rig you fought.

Achievement unlocked: Siege Cannon.
