- Every fall, FischFright 3 transforms the fishing scene of Roblox’s Fisch with six Halloween-themed rods, turning the grind for rare fish into a thrilling quest. These rods don’t just look spooky—they offer unique stats and abilities that can turn the tide in your favor during the event. Grabbing each one is a challenge that combines skill, patience, and a bit of luck, making these rods coveted trophies among players looking to maximize their haul this Halloween season.
- FischFright 3 adds six exclusive rods, each unlocked in different ways. Four come from NPC quests or event tasks, while two require completing intricate rituals—adding depth and variety to the event gameplay. Here’s a snapshot of all six rods: Boglin Branch: Finish the Youngster Goblin’s questline. Eldritch Rod: Achieve Hex Energy Level 11 by offering ingredients at Beatrix’s cauldron. Webweaver Rod: Complete Webby Winston’s three quests and buy the rod with Treats. Doomsekkar Rod: Finish Doomsekkar’s fishing and haunted spirit tasks. Dutchman’s Rod: Complete the Dutchman’s Blessing Ritual. Omniscient Spinecaster: Finish the tough Omniscient Ritual.
- The Boglin Branch unlocks by working through the Youngster Goblin questline near Beatrix’s Cauldron in Caustic Hallow. Start by talking to the Youngster Goblin and check your quest objectives before diving in. You’ll need to tackle five steps, including completing Goblin Challenges and collecting rare Boglin items. These are the objectives: Complete three Goblin Challenges at Normal difficulty or above (green Easy Goblins don’t count). Give the Youngster Goblin 10 Witch’s Ingredients of any type. Acquire one Boglin Skull. Find one Boglin Twig (sometimes called a Boglin Fang in quest text). Collect one set of Boglin Wraps. After finishing the mandatory three challenges, you can farm easier Goblins for the remaining items, but patience is key since Boglin parts drop rarely.
- The Boglin Branch’s heavy Luck and solid Lure Speed make it a reliable choice for snagging rare fish. With a max weight handling of 550,000 kg, it balances power and speed effectively for most Halloween event catches. Lure Speed: 80% Luck: 180% Control: 0.05 Resilience: 20% Max Weight: 550,000 kg
- Unlocking the Eldritch Rod revolves around powering up Beatrix the Witch’s cauldron, which also uses the Witch’s Ingredients you need for the Boglin Branch quest. This overlap means gathering these ingredients simultaneously speeds up both goals. Approach Beatrix near her tree and interact with her cauldron, then choose to offer ingredients singly or all at once. Each ingredient raises your Hex Energy by one level, and you’ll need to reach Level 11 to claim the rod.
- Eldritch Rod Stats
- Next up is the Webweaver Rod, obtained from Webby Winston, who resides deep in Webridden Cavern under Caustic Hallow. To unlock it, you must complete three quests, all of which can be progressed concurrently. You need to: Trick-or-treat at 16 different houses wearing the Candy Bucket (revisiting the same house won’t count). Catch 15 Cobweb Cod in the greener waters of the cavern. Catch 10 fish with the Webbed mutation inside Webridden Cavern. After finishing, Webby rewards you with 1,000 Treats, enough to buy the rod without spending extra.
- Webweaver Rod Stats and Passive
- The Doomsekkar Rod demands tactical skill and patience, unlocked through Doomsekkar’s questline available near the Halloween graveyard on the trail outside Webridden Cavern. This involves catching fish, performing Perfect Catches, and capturing a haunted spirit during a rare event. The tasks: Catch 100 fish in the temporary glowing Frightful Pools. You can speed this up by buying a Frightful Pool Totem from the Flying Dutchman for 3,000 Treats. Land 50 Perfect Catches. Capture the haunted spirit in the identified haunted house in Caustic Hallow. Combining the first two objectives by fishing in the Frightful Pools while aiming for Perfect Catches saves a lot of time.
- How to Capture the Haunted Spirit
- After completing the fishing and spirit capture goals, head back to Doomsekkar to claim your rod and an extra 3,000 Treats.

The Boglin Branch unlocks by working through the Youngster Goblin questline near Beatrix’s Cauldron in Caustic Hallow.
The quest requires you to complete five objectives:
-
Complete three Goblin Challenges on Normal difficulty or higher. Easy Goblins with green outlines do not count toward this objective.
-
Give the Youngster Goblin 10 Witch’s Ingredients of any type.
-
Obtain one Boglin Skull.
-
Obtain one Boglin Twig. Some quest text may refer to this item as a Boglin Fang.
-
Obtain one set of Boglin Wraps.
Once you have completed the three required Normal-or-higher challenges, you can farm Goblin Challenges at any difficulty to collect the remaining items. Even Easy Goblins can drop the Boglin parts after the challenge requirement is fulfilled.
Keep in mind that the Boglin Skull, Boglin Twig, and Boglin Wraps are rare drops. You may need to complete several rounds before obtaining all three items, so keep farming until the quest tracker confirms your progress.

Unlocking the Eldritch Rod revolves around powering up Beatrix the Witch’s cauldron, which also uses the Witch’s Ingredients you need for the Boglin Branch quest.
To begin, find Beatrix near her tree and approach her cauldron. Interact with it and select either “Offer Ingredient” or “Offer All Ingredients.” Every ingredient you offer adds one Hex Energy, and the game displays a message confirming the amount gained.
Continue offering ingredients until you reach Hex Energy Level 11. Once you meet the requirement, claim the Eldritch Rod from Beatrix. You will also receive other rewards as you progress through the Hex Energy levels, including Witch’s Pot furniture, the Coffin Bobber, and Black Licorice.
