All three secret weapons in Acrophobia are stashed on catwalks scattered throughout the level. These aren’t simply lying around—they require you to systematically destroy the catwalks to release the weapons. Here’s a breakdown of their precise locations and the best way to reach them.
Secret Weapon 1 – Main Lift
Right after collecting the upgrade compound, scan the area around the Main Lift platform. A distinct purple glow will indicate the first secret weapon’s location, emanating from a catwalk positioned across a gap.
The catwalk sits just across the gap from where you stand. To reach it, you have two options: leap directly across the gap or take a longer route, navigating underneath and around the area to approach it safely from a different angle.
Once you’re on the catwalk, destroy its structure. This action causes the first secret weapon to drop down, ready for you to pick up and add to your inventory.
Ensure you grab the weapon before moving forward, as it’s essential for unlocking the achievement later.
With the first weapon secured, your next target lies toward the West Pylon.
Secret Weapon 2 – West Pylon
Facing the West Pylon from your current position, you’ll see another purple glow revealing the second secret weapon nearby. It’s positioned on a catwalk that’s accessible by crossing a broken walkway.
Carefully cross the broken walkway to access the catwalk. Like before, your goal is to destroy the catwalk’s structure, which will cause the second secret weapon to fall.
Pick up the weapon immediately to continue your search for the final hidden arsenal.
Secret Weapon 3 – East Pylon
The last and final secret weapon is tucked away near the East Pylon. Progress further along the level heading in that direction.
You’ll encounter a signpost marking the area—this is your cue to search nearby for the third weapon’s location.
Ascend the steps adjacent to the sign, then look toward the building behind it. Spot the catwalk illuminated by a vivid red glow. This is your target.
Destroy this catwalk, releasing the last secret weapon. Grab it promptly to complete the set.
