Lost Items are hidden collectibles scattered throughout Storage Hunters Open World. Collecting them helps complete your collection, and some items even have additional uses beyond simply being found.
This guide lists every known Lost Item along with its location and any special requirements needed to obtain it.
Farmyard Lost Items
Needle
Location: Farmyard hay field.
Search through the hay bales in the field. A quick trick is to zoom your camera out or switch to first-person view, allowing you to see the Needle hidden inside the grass more easily.
Branding Iron
Location: Top of the Farmyard silo.
Climb the ladder attached to the silo to reach the top and collect it.
Horseshoe
Location: Behind the Farmyard pond.
Walk around to the back of the pond to find it on the ground.
Painting
Location: Under the dock at the Farmyard pond.
Jump into the water beside the dock and look underneath to claim it.
Cow Milker
Location: Behind the trailer store near the Farmyard pond.
Walk behind the trailer building to find the collectible.
Key
Location: Under the bridge beside Farmyard.
Jump underneath the bridge to collect the Key.
Important: The Key is required to unlock another Lost Item later. If you accidentally sell it, it respawns every 12 hours.
Saddle
Location: Yellow house near the Farmyard pond.
Look beside the yellow house to claim the Saddle.
Back Alley Lost Items
Scythe
Requirement: You must have the Key in your inventory.
Head to Back Alley and locate the locked garage near the NPC.
Use the Key to unlock the garage, then run to the very back of the building to collect the Scythe.
Beehive
Location: Outside the locked garage.
Leave the garage area and head toward the Black Market NPC. The Beehive is located nearby.
Suitcase
Location: Roof of the large Back Alley building.
Climb onto the nearby fence before jumping onto the roof to reach the Suitcase.
Junkyard Lost Items
Bluetooth Speaker
Location: Inside the toll booth outside Junkyard.
Jump into the toll booth to collect it.
Backpack
Location: Fence opposite Junkyard.
Climb over the nearby fence to reach the Backpack.
Bonus: The Backpack is wearable as a Back accessory, so avoid selling it if you want to use it cosmetically.
Camera
Location: Roof of the wide Junkyard building.
Climb the ladder leading to the roof to find the Camera.
Watering Can
Location: Behind a trash pile farther away from the Junkyard NPC.
Search behind the pile to collect it.
Shopping Mall Lost Items
Professional Camera
Location: Behind the Quick Sell area.
Go behind the Quick Sell building and climb onto the raised platform to reach it.
Digital Alarm Clock
Location: Hidden behind the wall near the Item Cleaning Service.
Players currently access this area by parking a vehicle against the wall and clipping through it before walking to the collectible.
This method may change if the developers patch the area in a future update.
Book
Location: Playground behind the Shopping Mall.
Climb the playground structure and look inside the tunnel section to collect the Book.
Bonsai Plant
Location: Residential houses across from the Shopping Mall.
Walk behind one of the small houses to find the Bonsai Plant.
Gas Station Lost Items
Circular Saw
Location: Left side of the Gas Station.
Look behind the equipment near the building to find it.
Between Shopping Mall and Junkyard
LED Flashlight
Location: Dumpster between the Shopping Mall and Junkyard.
Jump inside the dumpster to claim it.
Auto Dealership Lost Items
Acoustic Guitar
Location: Behind the Auto Dealership.
Park beside the small building, jump onto its roof, and collect the Guitar.
Shipyard Area Lost Items
Lava Lamp
Location: Road Closed area before entering Shipyard.
Use your vehicle to climb onto the nearby rooftop and collect it.
Jade Bracelet
Location: Behind the Shipyard silos.
Climb the ladder behind the silos to reach the collectible.
Flip Cell Phone
Location: On top of the Shipyard crane.
Complete the parkour route across the crane and shipping containers to reach it.
Classic Telephone
Location: Inside the large ship.
Reach the crane, jump onto the ship, then enter the ship to collect the Telephone.
Marble Vase
Location: Beach outside Shipyard.
Jump down onto the rocky shoreline near the ship to find it.
Typewriter
Location: Watchtower near Shipyard.
Use your vehicle to help climb the tower before collecting the Typewriter at the top.
Under Construction Area
Cowbell
Location: Behind the under-construction building near Farmyard.
Walk behind the building to collect it.
Butter Churn
Location: Beach beside the Road Closed bridge.
Head down to the beach and search near the small building.
Lost Item Tips
- Some Lost Items require climbing, parkour, or careful jumping.
- Keep the Key until you’ve unlocked the Scythe.
- The Backpack doubles as a wearable accessory.
- If you accidentally sell the Key, it respawns every 12 hours.
- Some locations currently require movement tricks or vehicle-assisted jumps that could change in future updates.
