If you’re trying to find the most efficient farming spot in TaskBarHero, simply looking at monster levels isn’t enough. Some locations provide better experience, while others offer much faster kill speeds. To help players compare farming efficiency, community member Liax created the Mob/sec Calculator and Comparator.
This spreadsheet tool allows players to measure kill speed, compare farming locations, calculate experience gains, and determine which area provides the best overall results for their character.
What Is the Mob/sec Calculator?
The Mob/sec Calculator is a community-made spreadsheet that helps players analyze their farming performance.
By entering farming data, players can calculate:
- Mobs killed per second
- Experience gained per second
- Farming efficiency comparisons
- Over-level experience penalties
- Mob and EXP rating scores
Instead of guessing which location is best, the calculator provides actual numbers that can be compared between different farming spots.

Over-Level Penalty Support
Version 0.2.2 added support for experience reduction calculations when farming monsters below your level.
This helps players identify when it’s time to move to a more rewarding farming location.
